Good everything with selling is fine…
Good everything with selling is fine it’s just withdrAwl took long time to get to me but it’s good
Return/refund policy sucks
I received an incorrect item from the seller.I ordered a steamer and received something else( haire rollers)
As this mistake was not mine, I was surprised and frustrated to learn that I am being asked to cover the return shipping costs in order to resolve the issue, not the seller. 🤦🏽♀️😂😳
As a buyer who followed the process correctly, I do not believe it is fair to bear additional costs for an error made by the seller. Even though we are talking about 3-5£. It’s about trusting your platform and taking the right decisions. This situation makes me feel unprotected as a customer, despite using Vinted in good faith and in accordance with your policies for many years.

Great easy way to sell my good quality items - Vinted always keep me updated
So quick and easy to buy and sell.
I was a seller on Vinted selling some…
I was a seller on Vinted selling some of my unwanted items and everything was going great, I had great feedback no negatives, until I needed to verify my identity. The only verification they accept is a passport or drivers licence, neither of which I have. Contacted customer services several times to ask about alternatives but just kept getting the same reply “passport or drivers licence only” no exceptions and no real help. So now I can’t sell there and they still have money that belongs to me that I can’t get back.
As a side note just had to verify my identity on my private seller account on eBay was able to verify with birth certificate & recent utility bill sorted easily with no issues.
QUOTE FROM TRADING STANDARDS - BE WARNED!!
QUOTE FROM TRADING STANDARDS -
Anyone purchasing goods from the platform must pay what Vinted call a “Buyer Protection Fee”. The use of the term “Buyer Protection Fee” is likely to reassure purchasers that they will be protected if anything goes wrong with a transaction. However, the experience of Trading Standards, based on complaints that we have seen, is that there is no real buyer protection. For example, if a buyer receives goods that are significantly not as described, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay to return the goods. This is not “buyer protection” in the view of Trading Standards and this is, potentially, a misleading term. This is our view and only the Courts can interpret such wording with any authority.
Another problem identified by Trading Standards is in relation to the “two-day rule” associated with buyer protection. Vinted make it a clear condition that unless a buyer raises a problem within two days, Vinted will complete the order, release payment to the seller and not deal with any legitimate complaints at a later date. Trading Standards feel that this is unfair, being far too short a time for a buyer to become aware of any problems.
Trading Standards have previously met with Vinted and raised our main concerns regarding the issues identified above. However, Vinted will not be making any significant changes to the platform or their policies
Clothing sizes - a definate negative experience
I used to like buying on Vinted but now they have changed the clothing sizes in line with International sizes the buying experience here has become tedious as I now have to scroll through hundreds of items which are listed incorrectly. The UK sizes are different from international so why has Vinted changed this. A negative all round. I have given up looking now. What is wrong with these people, first eBay messes everything up now Vinted is following suit. Is there a brain cell between them I wonder. Just collected my last order that I will buy on here and the size was incorrect. What a ballsup!

Counterfeit Miele Hoover Bags are being sold on vinted
I bought an unopened box of 4 Miele GN hoover bags on vinted for £10. When they arrived they were clearly fake and nothing like real Miele hoover bags. Luckily I had a real hoover bag left in a real Miele box, and I sent in photos of the real and fake hoover bags and boxes side by side to vinted. The fakeness is undisputable. Vinted's resolution is that I send it back to the vendor and I pay the postage cost for sending it back. So I will be out of pocket. My Payment Protection of £1.10 doesn't actually cover anything at all. There is no phoneline, correspondence with Vinted is only by messaging to which there is no reply, all responses are just automated responses. I have reported the counterfeit goods to Miele themselves. I didn't even know there was a trade in counterfeit hoover bags!

Bought something from Vinted for £1.20…
Bought something from Vinted for £1.20 they charged me £4.20 altogether ? Absolutely disgusting? Charging twice as much for postage than the seller actually received
Be Aware
Be Aware! I don't normally give such reviews buy feel I need to give sellers fair warning. I sold 4 separate dvds as a bundle. During transit one dvd box got slightly damaged. I offered a full refund for return of all the products or a partial refund if they kept the products. Vinted said the products weren't packed sufficiently and therefore were refunding the customer the full amount and I am to get nothing but that they hope I'm happy with the outcome?! This is despite the buyer reaching an agreement with me directly. So due to Vinteds involvement, the buyer has 4 separate products (note only one dvd box was cracked in transit, dvd was ok) a full refund and I as seller will not receive any payment for anything, even the products that are undamaged. So be careful as Vinted certainly don't support sellers. Also they charged they buyer a protection fee, so why do that if they just are refunding the full amount from the buyer. As someone else said, trying to get a response from them is like looking for a miracle!
