⚠️ Buyer Beware – My Experience with Vortex Hair Care

I want to share my experience in case it helps others. The product listing stated that it ships from the USA, but my order was actually shipped from China.

When I contacted customer service about an issue, I was told that any returns would need to be sent back to China, which was not clearly stated upfront. This made the return process much more complicated and expensive than expected.

Please double-check the shipping and return details before purchasing to avoid surprises. Just sharing so others can make an informed decision.

Fast delivery and very helpful, had an item missing and they couldn't have been any more helpful and resolved the issue very quickly. Would highly recommend.

I ordered this wand and after using it about7-10 times, it just stopped working. I emailed the company for a replacement and they told me they would send a replacement if I send $30 for shipping and write them a good review on trust pilot. I told them I don't think that is ethical to demand a good review (on a product that stopped working out of nowhere) and that they should be standing by their product. They then told me they would send a new replacement after I send the $30 by paypal. I asked if I could e-transfer the amount and never heard back. Would never buy from this company.

I purchased Vortex Pro recently. One of the head didn’t work after a few use and contacted the customer service. They were really fast responding and resolving the issue quickly.

As for how effective vortex pro as I received a week ago I can’t yet say, but certainly feel some changes, but not yet visible results.

I am overall very happy with my purchase.

I didn't receive my hair serum and the pro wand I ordered for my mom arrived with a broken wand. I was annoyed at first because I was given the run around. Even after having sent pictures of my order indicating that the serum was included in my order AND pictures of my mom’s broken wand which were time stamped to indicate our discovery of the broken wand shortly after its delivery. My email must’ve eventually landed in the inbox of a sensible person with good customer service because that person wasted no time shipping my serum and the replacement wand for my mom’s set.

I initially purchased my Vortex wand in November 2025. First use, the glass comb fell out of the wand and broke. And I actually took care to make sure it was secure, so I thought, before using it. I contacted customer service. They
immediately responded to my emails. I was told a shipping fee was required to replace via PayPal. However, since I don’t use Paypal everything fell flat. Frustrated, I reached back out in February for a replacement and RESPONSE TO MY CONCERNS HAVE BEEN TOP NOTCH!! A new replacement comb is ON ITS WAY Free of charge! My experience has been CONSISTENT, QUICK RESPONSE and FOLLOW UP COMMUNICATION to my needs from CustomerCare. Very professional. I am looking forward to getting my replacement comb. I will then share with you my results regarding product usage.

I recently ordered the Vortex Wand kit and have been using it for 2 months. So far, it's been working great. But then, my comb tube broke, and the handpiece started malfunctioning. I reached out to the Support Team, and they promptly and courteously assisted me and offered to send replacements. I've never been more pleased with a service, and I'm deeply grateful. Thank you, Clang and the Support Team.

I generally have thin hair and have used all sorts of products for many years without significant results. I finally decided to try Vortex, and what a huge difference it has made. My hair has never been this shiny and healthy-looking! I've been using the wand around the edges, and I can see baby hair growing. My head also feels tingly and relaxed after using it for 10 minutes. This was one of the best investments I've made for my hair. In fact, my husband has started to use it too!

Nothing but genuine positive feedback to provide… the product arrived within a decent time and even when there was a slight issue with a couple of the attachments, I contacted customer care and was assisted by Clang who provided such fantastic customer service and without hesitation sent me a replacement for them.

It’s important to note when ordering this product that you actually order from the legitimate website, so many sites are fraudulent or fake and once a transaction has gone through these sites will be shut down or they will never send you the product. Counterfeit sites are constantly being fired up so make sure you check a site over and over before making a purchase. I can confirm the negative reviews on here cannot be legitimate, it makes no sense that this company is getting any kind of negative reviews, the product arrived in good time and the customer service has been fantastic, I have had this wand for over a week and although I was unable to use the comb and mushroom attachments just yet, I have been consistently using the spoon attachment the whole time and can confirm my hair feels more dense at the root already which is almost bizarre but incredible… I actually now feel like I have hair on my head. I saw reviews on YouTube from other users who said they felt their hair became volumised after each use and I can genuinely say this is true. My hair feels thicker and more dense and I’m looking forward to using the comb and mushroom attachments when I am able to to see how much better it could get.

I received this product with defects that made it unusable. I contacted customer support within the warranty period and provided proof of the issue.
Instead of replacing the defective item, the company asked me to leave a 5-star review and pay additional shipping costs. This is extremely unprofessional and misleading to customers.
A warranty should cover defective products, not require positive reviews in exchange for support. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

One of the teeth on my comb attachment broke when the attachment fell out of my wand because I didn't push it all the way in (totally my fault), so I contacted Vortex via email to ask whether I could get a replacement comb attachment. I explained what happened, and they agreed to send me a new comb attachment "free of charge." They have awesome customer service. They reply quickly and help solve the issue. I am awaiting my new comb attachment and am excited about my hair growth journey. Thank you, Vortex Hair Care!!!

Terrible product - does not work! And customer service is horrible! Disgusting and corrupt..do your research before you purchase this crap product. Have a nice day.

I was ready to return my vortex because it kept tripping the outlet in my bathroom. Customer service explained that I would need to use a different room as it was the outlet that was the problem. They were right.

I highly recommend the Vortex Hair Wand and associated products (i.e. the Hair Revival Serum). I only bought the Wand in December 2025 and I am already beginning to see follicle growth.

My package arrived in perfect condition and I was so excited to use it. It definetly works with stimulating the scalp and is easy to use and the different components have different purposes. Unfortunately I did end up breaking mine by sitting on it a week into buying it and the company responded within 2 days and have offered me a replacement of the broken parts and only covering the shipping fee.

I’ve been using this product for months now. I accidentally broke the comb within the first week bc I have curly hair and it got stuck in my hair but continued to use the other wands. I’ve notice a lot of new growth and the front of my hairline is noticeably thicker. It stimulates the scalp and prefer using this over my dermaroller. I contacted customer service and luckily they are sending me a new comb attachment. If you have hair loss concerns and contemplating this product I would highly recommend getting it. Their customer service is also great.

This company ships from the USA but if you need to return, you will need to return to China plus a restocking fee. This will reduce your refund significantly. Yes, this info is in the return policy but it's not very clear. It erodes consumer trust when policoes are not clearly stated. I wanted to return due to not being happy with the result from the item but I see too many who returned and the item was "lost" so I do not trust that I would get even a small refund.

I love the wand, I use it on my face for breakouts and my head to stimulate my scalp. I dropped one of the heads, and they offered to send me a replacement! Vortex has been very helpful with any support Ive needed.

i’ve sent them two emails now they don’t respond. The product came in. I don’t like what it looks like. I want to return with their guarantee and they will not respond to me so I guess I will be contacting my credit card company. My review below is from prior.

BTW, The return has to be shipped to China!

I just purchased, so I’ll update later. The interesting thing is vortex responded to another review below that claimed they just drop ship that they ship everything from NJ. I just got my shipping and it says the liquid will arrive separate from the wand ‘Since liquids often face customs delays and stricter regulations, shipping them separately ensures faster and smoother delivery for you.’ So now I’m doubting how truthful this company actually is.

Customer service is excellent. I have just started using the product and am looking forward to amazing results!
