Signed up for 7 day Free trial then…
Signed up for 7 day Free trial then cancelled after 2 days. Received confirmation email to confirm. Then it had tried to take the fee, thankfully there was no money in the account. but it's extreamly difficult to cancel, I had to block them as a payee and as for the virtual assistant, DO NOT BOTHER. Shocking, would turn me off ever signing up for a free trial of anything again.
Ridiculous Cancellation Fees
They conveniently hide the exorbitant cancellation fees so that if you are not happy with their product they screw you over. They also signed me up for another service I didn't sign up for initially. Absolutely horrible customer service. Be very cautious for what you sign up for with this sh*tty company.
Be careful.
I don't trust them at all. Have been burned. The signed me up for something recently. Hopefully a trial subscription. Now I had to cancel the renewal. Regarding subscriptions, the FTC has been aware and has intervened. The partnership with Apple for billing is odd to me. Apple is very ethical. And Adobe doesn't have much impact on the partnership. Maybe a good thing. There are lots of graphic design options. I have read that Affinity is good-- my next stop.
Literally impossible to export pdfs as pdfs (eg locally save a pdf)
All I wanted was to safe the pdf file I edited locally on my computer. Why this is an apparently impossible task with adobe when literally every other pdf editing software allows it, I couldn't tell you. You can export a pdf as any other type of document, but there's literally no button anywhere to just transfer the pdf from adobe to your computer. So annoying. 0/10.
Adobe - holds me hostage with registered software.
Having purchased perpetual licensed software in 2013 of Photoshop CS6, Lightroom and Acrobat Pro I have used these products without need to upgrade or buy the latest versions. At the time they were a significant investment. However, after my long used Dell PC finally died last week (post stormy weather and electric issues) I had to buy a new system.
I dug out my registered products and loaded onto new win 11 platform PC without issue - until a prompt advised me that my registered licence was ‘on too many devices’ and I needed to deactivate them. How do I do that on a dead PC I wondered - well, apparently Adobe do this remotely. I went onto their chat option and engaged an agent only to be told that they would need to manually deactivate devices but, as CS6 version is no longer supported, they can’t / won’t do this and recommended I but their new ‘cloud’ based subscription service.
So, the moral of the story is - when you believe you are buying a lifetime licence YOUR NOT. It’s ALL a big con selling you a 6 for a 9.
A perfectly functional piece of software - sabotaged by its makers just to hold their clients at ransom to keep spending money.
They can take their new cloud software and shove it up their backside hardware….sideways.
I don't understand the development of Adobe anymore
I have been an Adobe user for over 23 years. Discontinuing Adobe Muse was a major mistake. Such a decision should only be made when a better replacement is ready. Muse was removed, yet Dreamweaver remains — something I still don’t understand.
The constant updates to Photoshop and Premiere often introduce confusing and unnecessary changes. For example, turning the simple act of saving a JPG into an extra “Save a Copy” step is one of those decisions that makes me wonder who thought this was a good idea. You keep on expending multiple not very important things but this what was important such as Muse, which was an amazing tool, was damaged and not updated.

Company makes it almost impossible to cancel a subscription and when you finally do this (took me 2 hours to work it out) they charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege. Appalling operation.
deceptive
1★ — Extremely disappointed and frustrated
Tried to cancel my Adobe subscription but the cancel option was impossible to find and the support team failed to help me. Despite following all steps and attempting cancellation multiple times, Adobe continues to charge me with no clear resolution pathway. The customer service experience was poor, lacking transparency and almost impossible to navigate. I would not recommend Adobe for subscriptions due to their difficult cancellation process.
wow...just wow..
The cancellation fee is one big bad joke..Unbelievable..As greedy as they come..I regret learning this software early in my career because its kind of hard to swich now but rest assured i will be trying very hard to do so..

The only occasions my conputer has crashed wiping out a day's work are when I have had Adobe Digital Editions open. A classic example of technology making life more frustrating, not less.
Thieves
I never agreed to pay 50% more for my photography plan but you take my money regardless. This company takes the **** I don't think I ever want to use their products again.
Engineered to take your money against your wishes. Theives
Their products have become disgustingly expensive over the years, and they have like many, engineered it in a way you have to subscribe to things you don't need or want.
I went to finally decouple and cancel and they require you yo update your payment method prior to cancellation. Doing so, would then charge for a year sub I don't need or want. They trap you in this loop. They make it harder than cancelling your cable. Just a an all around bad company.
Stay away!
Wish I had read here first. Tried a free trial and now I cant get out. When I try to delete my account I just get eternal waiting screen. I will block my card/payment and take the battle with them.
Stay away!

Amazing program with premiere and lightroom. The service is great from their chat which is open almost all the time I think and helped me with specific problems i had. Use their chat and ask for customer service =)=)
Zero stars for predatory practices
Zero stars for predatory practices. The trial membership cannot be canceled and they also refuse ti delete my credit card from their site after I canceled. Check out Reddit for more info; this is a terrible company that my have a good product but I will never deal with them again
They have a system made to trap people…
They have a system made to trap people to pay adobe services and a cancel fee on top of that they raised the price of the package i have from 13 - 24 dollars and they just send and email 3 days before they make the price change, super scummy then they get u trapped to either pay a really expensive cancel fee or keep paying for the whole year, so i explained to 3 different people on support that i missed that email and BECAUSE you sent it 3 days before the price change and its an annual billing u cant just unsubscribe now, its a trap to trick people like me that missed the price adjusment and i didnt even confirm that i wanted to continue to pay after the price raise it was just a stupid email and they have been donig this for years this should litteraly be illegal yeah i got 2 months free whey whoo but i gotta keep paying after that :/
Adobe makes it way too hard to cancel a…
Adobe makes it way too hard to cancel a free trial. The cancellation flow is confusing, buried in multiple menus, and feels designed to make you give up. I spent far longer than I should have just trying to find the right page and confirm the cancellation. Free trials shouldn’t come with this much friction—clear, one-click cancellation would be a lot more customer-friendly.
Fine print billing
Fine print billing, super aggravating. Cancellation fee for a montly plan? They constantly complain about payment method not working and don't let you cancel the plan until you add a payment method. After which they immediately bill you for past usage and then spring the cancellation fee on you which was "part of the agreement" when you want to cancel. Don't give these guys your money if there is ANY alternative.
Money Grabbers / Stealing...
Money Grabbers / Stealing...
Today 06/02/26 they took £19.99 from my account, The subscription is monthly....
This Bill was due from the 18/01/26, i was only paid today, But during the time from 18/01 to 06/02 i have not be able to use there services due to non-payment.... (So that's fair, i have not paid....so i do not get to use)
However, now that my payment has come out on the 06/02/26, it now says my plans next payment is 18/02/26...(12 days time), so you are basically now you are stealing from me...as you have not allowed me to use the services for the time period that i did not pay, but now that i have paid....you want to charge me for the time that you did not allow me to use your services...and then try and charge me again in 12 days time....FK off, Plan cancelled....stick it where the sun doesn't shine
Awful company that hate's its customers.
