Ships by ultra-cheap FedEx Smart Post -- the slowest & worst ever
I ordered two baby bibs to be sent as a gift for our young grandson and that had to arrive before their departure to Europe to visit other relatives there. I ordered these from CafePress in early July, some 3 weeks in advance, so as to give them plenty of time to ship and arrive. They were not shipped until July 16, and the shipping email notice from CafePress with a tracking # only said shipping was via FedEx. Delivery was actually made some 10+ days later (to an L.A. address), with FedEx Smart Post being the actual means of shipment. This is a hyper-cheap, hyper-slow hybrid shipment via FedEx Ground and (at the receiving end) the US Postal Service. I have had others use this means of shipment before and can say nothing positive about it -- it is glacial, the tracking # is for decoration only, etc. Will never buy from CafePress again. They could have just as easily put the two baby bibs in a small envelop and sent it via regular, old first class mail, and it would have reliably arrived in maybe 3 days.
