“The great inference race.”
*WHAT HAPPENED?*
After a "one-off" bubbling error on his final exam ruins his future, Neil, Aquello, and Ignio have to partake and survive a brutal race to fix their grades and to not be held back. Imagine failing because you skipped question #6 and bubbled the rest of the sheet one line off. That’s the nightmare Neil is facing and his two best friends, Aquello (who choked under the pressure) and Ignio (whose ego got the better of him). Their only hope to pass the year? The Race.
*WHAT IS THE GREAT INFERENCE RACE?*
It’s an intergalactic tradition involving the five great schools.
I.G.U.E.S.S.
I.S.U.P.P.O.S.E.
I.T.H.I.N.K.
I.W.O.N.D.E.R.
and I.B.E.L.I.E.V.E.
Over 100 students are competing! Some for the prestige, some for the betting money, and some, like our trio, just to survive and pass.
*HOW TO PASS*
The trio need to get in the top 10 to pass and fix their grades.
*WHAT'S AT STAKE*
Neil and his friends might be held back a year if they don't compete or do well.
*HOW TO RACE*
Small Vehicles
Animals
Or on foot(with gear)
*COMBAT*
combat is allowed but no deadly force. Guns and knives are banded. If you are caught with 1 you are disqualified. Sabotage is also allowed.
*TIME*
1 month to train before the race.
*THE RACE*
It will be broadcasted all throughout the known galaxies.
*THE RACE ITSELF*
A large Simulated field filled with multiple obstacles, elemental hazards and more.
*PIT STOPS*
It's not just the finish line that they need to worry about. The pits tops are also places where students can be eliminated from the race.
Injuries, or medical needs. To make sure no deaths happen. Also cut offs. After a certain number passes the pit stops the rest who are too far behind are eliminated.
*SPONSORSHIPS/BETTING INFERENCE*
Since the race is being broadcast throughout the known galaxies, Audiences favor matters.(like hunger games). High-performing racers can earn 'Fan-Drops' mid-race to help them in certain situations.
*THE GEAR*
since Neil doesn't have any horsepower vehicles or animals. He goes on foot with specially made “high tech hybrid kinetic roller skates” along with a few other tools to help.
Neil will need to train, practice, hope, and rely on his own skills and indomitable human spirit to win the race.

sometimes I wonder how y'all are obsessed with specific characters and I'm like "why them" but then I remember that sometimes its literally not your choice you just look at them wrong and all of a sudden they're taking up your every thought forever

Given how much work the musical has been so far, I won't have time for another special this year (also, 'cause I'm gonna have to put all my time into the S1 finale this year as well)
I do have a fun idea for a Valentine's special. It does feature S2's new characters though, so you'll have to wait until we're at a point where I've introduced them all haha
This has been floating around in my head but how many days is it for each of the gang until their next birthday??

Yup! February 29th for Ed, April 3rd for Neil, May 9th for Aquello, June 22th for Scarella, August 4th for Xav and September 18th for Ignio!
That means Ed is up first then! (But also not cuz I don't think we have a 29 this year lol)

Update from me! If you follow me on instagram as well you may know I've been pretty sick ever since the new year started pretty much. I am slowly making my recovery though 😴 This is an Ed sketch I made on one of my worst days, 'cause I simply gotta make something to keep me sane haha
I'm animating again and it's going really well. And dreaming of everything I wanna make (TEG season 2 finale TEGS2Finale TEGS2Finale, there is more but just in particular lol)
