she/her. infp. fandom, books, a lot of random shit.

random anecdote for father's day: one time during a long car ride my dad asked me, "you're familiar with Murphy's Law, right?" and i was like "isn't that the one about how anything that can go wrong will go wrong?" and he said "yeah, exactly" and i said "why do you ask?" and he went "well, have you heard of Cole's Law?" and i said "no, actually, what's that?" and he said "it's mostly lettuce and carrots with a little dressing mixed in"

since it’s midnight here already, happy november 5th, can’t believe it’s already been 5 years

If I had a nickel for every time Russell T. Davies created a Companion of color with medical knowledge who then gets sidelined by the wider narrative, I'd have two nickels. Which isnt a lot but it's FUCKING AGGRAVATING that it's happened twice

#eddie knew exactly what buck needed 9-1-1 | Season 8, Episode 17, ‘Don't Drink the Water’

I remember you had asked for a copy for the old house, and I figured it might be a nice memory for the new house.

Possible Bobby resurrection foreshadowing in 9-1-1 season 8

1. Bobby dresses as a vampire for halloween in 8x05 2. The 118 are called to rescue a suicidal man in 8x08 who gets off the ledge when Brad promises Captain Banner will wake up from his coma 3. In 8x08, Chimney cameos on Hotshots as Captain Banner's doctor who helps revive him from a coma 4. The 118 rescue a woman in 8x11 who has been buried alive and grasps Bobby to pull herself out of her grave 5. As Chimney receives the antiviral in 8x15, there is a bright white flash that mirrors the flash during Buck's coma dream 6. As he's leaving the lab in 8x15, Chimney takes home a lab rat, likely the rat who had previously received the other dose of antiviral 7. In 8x15, as Bobby says goodbye to Athena and prays in his last moments, the soundtrack is Work Song by Hozier, the lyrics of which describe a man who is drunk and suicidal before meeting his love, who he would dig himself out of his grave to get back to 8. In the final moment of 8x15, we see Bobby's helmet left behind at the scene, mirroring Buck's helmet being left behind after the lightning strike

"Back when the world was made of diamonds. I met something...so vile. It had no face. No name. No self. I had never been so scared in my life. It had fun. It played games. I think it was learning..."
