To whomever may be interested, my sister is writing her first fanfic!

She's doing a Korra season 1 rewrite with more of the elements she wished for when it was coming out.

If you read and like it, leave a comment! It would make her day

I told myself that if I ever need anything to paint I should pick the first photo I see on my dash and paint it and this was the first one so I committed.

"chekhovs cat / schrödingers razor / occams gun"

Chekov's Cat: if you see a cat in the first act, it will probably be relevant later. (example: Alien)

Shrodinger's razor: an unopened box may or may not contain the solution to the story; there's no way to know without opening it. (example: Monk)

Occam's gun: the simplest way to kill off a character is to shoot them. (example: Bambi)

i have been cracking up at this for the past 3 minutes

Chekov's Box: If there is a container introduced in the opening act, it will be opened later.

Schrodinger's Gun: Treat every gun as if it's loaded unless you've checked it yourself.

Occam's Cat: If you hear strange noises at night, it's probably a cat.

“No homo” cries the team at the dig site. The head archaeologist sinks to his knees, sobbing. He has dedicated his entire career to the pursuit of homo habilis, an important part of the hominid evolutionary line. All his work led up to this archaeological dig site. But now, his whole life has been for nothing. There is no homo….there is only Australopithecus.

I really, really love how much emphasis Batman and Robin (2023) continues to put on the way Bruce allows Damian to express his own opinions on matters, and that he accepts them and rethinks his own stances. Mini analysis on this scene below (Spoilers for B&R #29!!):
