Doing things you like shouldn't feel like a chore. It sounds like @burnout-offical or depression kinda

I mean drawing is just really boring but every time I do it I trick my brain into thinking it's fun
i (AuDHD by the way) can suggest multiple of my hyperfixations you could get into if that helps

well let’s see. my biggest special interest is a show called The Owl House, created by Dana Terrace, that has a canonically ADHD main character and very neurodivergent-coded cast that has the main message of ‘being different is okay!’ and a common theme in the show is that being weird is better than being ‘normal.’ also, the main villain is an 400 year-old white cis straight catholic man. it can be watched on Disney+ or the official website, The Owl Club! also, basically everyone in the show is some flavour of queer (there’s even aroace, non binary and (we think) bigender rep!!)
there are also the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan which i’m special interested in, i think most people will have at least heard of it (especially on this site)
another of my biggest special interests is a book series called Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy, i think the author’s described the main genres of his books as a mixture of comedy, mystery, fantasy and horror and there’s also a lot of action. it’s for kids (11+) though, so the horror isn’t too bad! it’s a very good series that starts with a twelve year old girl, Stephanie, discovering magic exists and being taken under the wing of, and i quote, ‘the skeleton of a wisecracking sorcerer’ who trains her to be a detective with him. the 18th book comes out March 2026 and is apparently the final book of the series (r.i.p. sp, i’ve known the books longer than i have most of my friends)
there’s also the show Hazbin Hotel created by Vivienne Medrano (also known as Vivziepop) that i’m special interested in, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding the creator but i do like the show (i’ll readily admit it does have its flaws, but i enjoy watching it). it’s set in Hell and the daughter of Lucifer, Charlie Morningstar, is the main protagonist who is running a hotel (the Hazbin Hotel) and trying to get sinners redeemed into Heaven as there are yearly exterminations by an angelic army to prevent Hell, with its overpopulation problem, from ever being able to rise up against them.
it’s not as big of a special interest but the show She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018 reboot) is definitely one of my favourites. like with The Owl House, most if not all of the main cast are some flavour of queer, and one character (Entrapta my beloved!) was written to be autistic. also, the main character is a lesbian with an enemies to lovers arc with her childhood best friend. 10/10 show i loved it and i’m so glad it wasn’t cancelled like a certain other show i could keep harping on about but ✨won’t!✨
