Like what did it add to the story?? His fear could have been anything but they made it that?? Just to show him with an epilogue boyfriend (literally just a guy sitting next to him at a bar with zero dialogue) for two seconds?? Why was that a thing that happened?? Why did they build up this thing with Mike and not even have a rejection…? To just refer to it as a past crush…?? What was that talk with Robin at the hospital even there for?? The painting?? Mike seriously didn’t know???? What???? What was the point??? They had it as part of the script that Will was gay before they even had the title ‘stranger things’ and it was handled like that???? i can’t believe they made vecna’s entire persona revolve around clocks, the whole creepy ticking sound, they made his birthday the same as wills, nov6 having significance as the day will was taken and the final battle , and zooming into the plays date(nov 6) and they even made the entire upside down a wormhole, and then the finale had absolutely nothing time related in it.
