This is a space for Superbat fans to engage with both canon and fanon versions of Superbat, with an emphasis on engaging with their canon media.

Do you have a soft spot for their various comic series together, like World’s Finest (1941) (1990) (1999) (2022) or Superman/Batman (2003) or Batman/Superman (2013)? Do you enjoy their crossover in Superman: The Animated Series or their episodes in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited shows? Are you fascinated by their dynamics in the DCEU or DCAMU or the LEGO Movies?

Do you want some fellow nerds to talk to about Superbat and their canonical stories? Or do you not know much about Superbat in canon but want to start learning in a community? If so, this server is for you!

Have a movie with Superman and Batman you’ve never gotten around to watching? We can do a watchparty for it! Have a Superbat comic series you keep meaning to pick up? Let’s read it together! “But Batman’s always careful—" in the field as a hero when being dangerous situations is part of the job. He can also be careful by not putting Clark in a situation where he can lose his mind/powers/life.

like…Imagine if Clark fed Bruce psychedelics to mess up his ability to use his brain and think properly and then stabbed him multiple times so he’s in excruciating pain and bleeding to death just to make him “easier” to sleep with 😭

Q: How will you be picking contributors?

A: Applications will only be judged based on the quality and presentation of your work. Your following or popularity plays no part in whether or not you will be accepted into the project.

Q: Is this project beginner friendly?

A: We would like to think so! We have no bias towards those who have zine experience vs. those who do not, as long as you can follow our schedule and deliver your work in a timely manner. 

Q: Will there be applications for other types of creators that aren’t simply artists or writers?

A: Unfortunately, we will only be accepting page artists, merch artists and writers this time around. We aren’t versed enough to judge other kinds of work sadly, but we appreciate the excitement!

Q: Will contributors be allowed to collaborate with each other?

A: Absolutely! We love any kind of collaboration and we are aiming to include spot illustrations for written works.

Q: How will I know if I’m accepted into the project?

A: If you are interested in the project, we encourage you to apply on November 17th! We will be sending results on December 15th.

Q: Will you be shipping internationally/do you have plans to ship outside of Europe and the Americas?

A: Yes absolutely! We will try to make our project as accessible as possible. When the time comes, we are also open to helping organize group orders to cut international shipping costs. Of course, this is all dependent on how shipping policies are in the US when sales/fulfillment start.

Q: Are there plans to make the project available to Chinese audiences through Taobao or Weidian?

A: If anyone would like to reach out to us who potentially has experience with this, we would love to chat! We recognize that Superbat has a huge overseas fanbase and are happy to make the moves to ensure it’s available to them. 

Q: Will there be any NSFW add-ons or content in this project?

At this time, there are no plans to feature NSFW content at this time. It's tricky to handle due to some payment processing policies!

superbat just ain't the same of the both of them aren't the same level of fucked up. it's so easy to fall into the trap of "clark's a golden retriever bf and bruce is strange and weird" when in reality, one of the reasons why they're so comfortable with each other is because they're both fucking strange.

i mean, seriously. you don't just casually memorize someone's heartbeat (while being able to hear eight billion others at the same time, by the way) if you're not at least a liiiiiiiittle fucked in the head somehow.
