I hate how the writers wrote kali to be suspicious and then had more than half of the viewers frame her as a traitor when all she did was tell el what she thought was the best thing she could do. she came from a childhood of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. its no wonder she has this pessimistic outlook on-life.
if sex work was legal the workers could unionize
I am fully serious about this btw. not "pro sex work" as in "there are no issues whatsoever within the industry", but "pro sex work" as in "these are jobs and the workers should be a) allowed to work and b) protected from their customers by the law"
people responding to this with stuff like "but that would just put sex workers in the same exploited position as uber drivers, cleaners, migrant workers, etc" and yes! good point! reform all of it! keep going!

the duffers confirming that the 12 children thing was randomly pulled out of their ass and had no lore significance is all the prompting i need to cook up a s5 rewrite where mike gets taken instead of holly and vecnas grand plan is using mike to manipulate will so he can use will to propell his abyss crashing plan, thus giving us byler, platonic madwheeler in the mindscape, and a true homage to the s1 vibes of a core member of the party being missing and the party working together to get him back.

something i particularly don’t like about the revival is some of the song changes obvs, but specifically a lot of the new songs.
first of all, unnecessary. wotta night is a hella good prom theme
second of all, if ur gonna add songs, give carrie and sue a duet. it would be so good if they had a duet-not acknowledging each other, not seeing each other, but singing together. goddammit they deserve one of those sorta duets
