Landback in Canada, the U.S, and Mexico. Landback for the Pacific Islands, Aotearoa, and Australia. Landback for Palestine. Land back for Ukraine. Independence for Hong Kong. Land back for every French and British colony. Land back for everywhere that people are eroding borders, killing, burning trees and crops, destabilizing resources, forcing people out. Land back for everyone whose independence is in question.

when applied to drinks, "dry" means "without sugar". therefore it follows that sugary drinks can be called "wet". the meanings of the terms "hot" and "cold" when applied to drinks are obvious. thus the aspect of any drink can be determined.

for instance, green tea, freshly steeped and served without additives, is hot and dry, and therefore has an aspect of fire.

a mocha, on the other hand, while hot, is sweet, and therefore wet, and thus has an an aspect of air.

lemonade, which is wet and cold, has a water aspect.

finally, the drink which most epitomizes the earth aspect, being both cold and dry, is vodka

Okay, I just learned we got the worlds first nonverbal voice actor, and as a semi verbal person who has wanted to see more AAC users in media FRIGGIN FINALLY. Seriously, I’m just happy people understand that the statement ‘nonverbal voice actor’ is not an oxymoron.

As a fully nonspeaking autistic advocate this was so worth reblogging. I love Odin I first saw him on SBSK youtube channel

Isn’t the voice actor of Renee from Loop non verbal too?

You were right! Apparently some people were misrepresenting Odin Frost in the news. Update for everyone! He’s the first nonverbal voice actor in a kids show (as apposed to a short film). Either way, good for both him and Madison Brandy, who played Renee.

This is a very different post to my usual content, so please bare with me for a moment, but a few blogs (and one extremely irritating Instagram video by a cis woman) have crossed my dash recently that have pissed me off and I need to quickly get this off my chest:

If you’re pretending to care about misogyny then you do actually need to learn about both the differences and the overlap of misogyny targeted towards cis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people and intersex people (including the added intersections of race, disability etc.) in order to combat all of it, because I’ll regularly see posts on this website that are outspoken against misogyny but which quickly dissolve into radical feminist territories before you can even ask OP if they have anyone other than cis women in mind when they’re making the post.

And no, throwing in a “this includes trans women” does not mean you care about trans women, it just means you’re covering up the fact that your views have more in common with JK Rowling than with anyone writing feminist or transfeminist theory who are worth their salt. If your feminism includes trans women, do you truly care about the issues that trans women face that cis women don’t? Or do you only care about trans women when they pass enough as cis women for you to feel comfortable about your allyship?

In a similar vein, do you care about misogyny when it affects trans men? Or are you more comfortable subscribing to the idea that trans men “chose” to be men and therefore should expect to be treated like the He-Man Woman-Hating Traitors they are? (But, y’know, in a “progressive” way).

Do you care about how misogyny affects non-binary people, and how it intersects with exorsexism, or are you more comfortable with pretending they don’t exist so that your worldview doesn’t need to change as much?

Do you care about the medical abuse and trauma that intersex people are legally forced to face or are you unwilling to truly let go of the sex binary and realise that its categorisation is just as useless as the gender binary?

And most importantly, do you understand how being white makes all of this inherently easier?

Lastly, I do think this website also needs to be reminded that the word “radical” in radical feminism refers to its etymology from the word “root”, in that radical feminism believes that misogyny is the root of all oppression, and does not leave room for any intersections of other systems of oppression. This is why the majority of outspoken TERFs are white, middle class cis women; they refuse to acknowledge any position of power they may have over someone else, because in their mind, they are affected by the only system of oppression that matters.

Unfortunately, a lot of people on tumblr have taken this ideology and decided to turn it into a “trans-inclusive” version, without realising that the whole ideology is rotten to the core. There is nothing radical about radical feminism. It depends on strict definitions and a complete lack of understanding on how intersection works, and trying to make it trans-inclusive ultimately fails when you attempt to place a group of people who— by definition— do not fit into patriarchy’s rigid boxes into an ideology that was built directly inside these boxes and largely tries to uphold them.

You are not “fixing” radical feminism. You are falling for the oldest tricks in the book.

Note: I’ve been analysing how radical feminist indoctrination works ever since it started to become more widely recognised in the late 2010s, so while I don’t pretend to be an expert by any means, I have come across the same type of tactics over and over again for years now, so I’m quick to notice the red flags when I see them.

I’m starting to see a LOT of red flags from blogs that claim to be trans-inclusive, and I need people on here to know how to recognise when that is a lie.

labeling random nonbinary people as transmasc or transfem without asking for their preference is misgendering.

not all nonbinary people identify as transmasc or transfem. some people are both. some are neither. some use a different term (some examples: null, androgynous, neutral). some only call themselves "nonbinary".

whatever you think their agab was doesnt determine which box they fit into. agab doesnt determine gender quality or presentation.

let nonbinary people be nonbinary without being pushed into a brand new binary of "transmasc or transfem". thank you.

I don’t care if you make fun of Catholicism as long as it’s accurate! The best humour has its roots in the truth.

“You can be mean to me but there are RULES about it” is the most Catholic thing I’ve ever seen.

I walked into that one

genuinely so many problems with how people talk about trans people and gender on this website comes down to not acknowledging that gender, as a power structure, is inherently cisgender. its not sufficient to just overlay the experiences of cis men and women on their trans counterparts. like we really, do have to reconstruct what gender means from first principles when talking about trans people and gendered oppression. especially in order to include nonbinary and agendered people, who are forcefully binarized or left out entirely under this way of thinking. it literally is not sufficient to treat it as an extension of cis feminism.

thinking about how my history teacher was talking about the french revolution one time and he wrote "bourgeoisie" on the board and said raise your hand if you think you can pronounce this and i raised my hand and he looked at the hammer and sickle pin on my backpack and said "ill come back to you"

white ppl will steal every aesthetic from black culture and then call it something so stupid like bo derek braids instead of box braids or hasbin hotel core instead of black southern dandism. yall will bend over backwards to call my culture barbaric/scary just to drool over the aesthetic the moment no actual black people are involved (21 pilots vs actual reggae). And if ur white/nonblack reading this just reblog. I dont need any comments talking about how not racist you are + speaking up over actual black people.

tragic when a thing gets hate for being 'woke trash' and you look into it and its not even that woke. like cmon man i was promised monacle popping gay commie propaganda. this is just a video game with a woman in it.

Trans people can be transphobic

Women can be misogynistic

Disabled people can be ableist

Racialised people can be racist

It is important that everyone learn to recognise these facts and those like them to understand that everyone is fallible and no one is beyond prejudice.

Sooner that truth is learnt, the sooner you can recognise these things in yourself and take steps to become a more compassionate and understanding person.

Too much movement makes your joints hurt and too little movement also makes your joints hurt. This would imply that there's an optimal amount of movement that allows your joints to not hurt. This is a lie.

the difference in performance between female and male athletes has far less to do with physiology and far more to do with the fact that boy athletes get the good coaches and the best ice time slot and the set of baby skates and the girl athletes get to change in the bathroom and to know that this won't be a career for them

Quite frankly if a cis woman wants he/him pronouns a. Good for him and b. So much the better for everyone else. Enough biological linguistics, everyone needs to get a little weird with it

I LOVE HE/HIM WOMEN!!!
