Witch Mabel AU doodles! Featuring Pacifica and Mermando
I imagine Mabel becomes much closer with Mermando while she's hiding out in Gravity Falls, but takes much longer to develop romantic feelings for each other. There is always a rift between them because although Mabel is likely capable of it, she's reluctant to help Mermando get home, since she doesn't want to go home herself---but neither of them can quite confront each other about it.
Pacifica has been noticing someone on the edge of the woods, but she hasn't said anything because she's learned not to talk about supernatural/ghost stuff from her parents in order not to seem crazy.

This idea has been floating (pun intended) around in my head for a while, but my hands haven't been well enough to actually make it--until now! It's definitely not perfect, but it just feels good to be making things again.
Fortunately, this space isn't scientifically accurate so Mabel and Ford aren't about to explode so they are (mostly) fine. If this post reaches 200+ likes, I'll make a continuation!

Reminding new followers I made a cute comic! And there is a part two coming, I've just got multiple ideas and I want to pick the best one.
Something a bit different today--some fanart from my longtime favorite graphic novel series, 5 Worlds! These are also a bit older, but I always loved how these turned out, especially the first two. I spent a good bit adding all the details on the sand castle, and I think it really paid off!

I don't know why this was a Peridot-coded outfit for me, but I had to draw it on her! I imagine she's going to a show or something and is taking one of her little robot sphere guys as a plus-one (Lapis stayed home to get some long-needed quiet time). I might add a background, I might not, but here we go!

Beowulf illustrations for a project!
I was inspired a lot by the artstyle of The Secret of Kells for this. All three of the main villains are pictured, each growing in height and size, including the dragon who's waiting deep in the mountain before he becomes Beowulf's final foe. I also overlayed the original manuscript.
I made a couple sketches of Grendel's mother before I decided on her final design because I had such a distinct mental image of her striding through the land, overcome with anger and grief, dragging her dead son's body. Of course, when I did research for this, all the interpretations of her were literally just "sexy green gollum" which is a horrifying enough sentence by itself. So I decided to go more "viking warrior monster" which I think is a whole lot cooler and also makes way more sense.
