Cthelmax requested a magpie coloured velociraptor Mongoliensis. So why not a pet one, I imagine they’d be a bit like trying to walk a cat.

Was super inspired by As above, so below and it’s cover art to paint something Bionicle again. Both to recapture that mystery in the setting and as a thank you to Essenger & Cryoshell for delivering such an awesome song. They didn’t have to go that hard, but they did and it turned out amazing!

Totally forgot I’ve been sitting on this piece I did earlier this year for the @aspecjournal!

All of my ace art winds up being very personal, and this one is no exception. I never went through the phase of feeling “broken” exactly, but I spent a solid decade being extremely confused about attraction. From middle school through college, everyone around me seemed obsessed with relationships in a way that I couldn’t relate to, and I didn’t understand why.

So, I wanted to do a piece about that feeling of wishing I had known about asexuality earlier. Sort of the notion of going back in time and telling my younger self there are words for it.

Also, I kind of miss cassette tapes.
