The headquarters’ reinforcements were waiting for them at the entrance of the tunnel, a long trolley hung down to drag them back up.
Ilaria squeezed her eyes shut as they reached the surface. The sudden light, though waning as it was approaching sunset, was blinding compared to all the darkness they had. The smell of fresh air had never felt so refreshing as she stepped onto solid surface ground.
She opened her eyes, and was surprised to find herself face to face with the Keeper themselves.
“Well done, both of you,” the hooded figure rasped. “We have sent Minders down to put out the fire and salvage what is left. Did you perhaps bring anything out with you?”
Phoizfal held up the fluffy pink chest they found in the main hall. “We found some strange papers in this, perhaps Pandia might want to research deeper into this.” He opened the chest, revealing the papers and the large scroll of map that he had snatched on the way out of the lab. “This map seemed to belong to the Aegaeon as well.”
For a moment so brief that Phozifal thought his mind made it up, the Keeper seemed to freeze upon the sight of the papers. Though the next moment they were quick to step forward, taking the box from the tundra with a slight shake in their claws.
“We will look into this,” they said, clutching the box to their chest. “Do you have anything else to report?”
Ilaria thought of the letters, the strange burial ceremony, the appearance of their names…she opened her mouth to speak, but felt something furry tab her on the back. She snapped her snout shut again and shook her head.
They watched the Keeper left in silence.
“Ilaria,” she heard him call her name after a while, sounding a little defeated. She turned, seeing the tundra stare after the hooded figure with a mixed expression.
“I’m afraid we have accidentally opened the Pandora’s box.”

By the time Kyrenia and Llambros arrived, the Keeper was already there waiting for them.
They stood with their back to them, staring at the docks before them which was completely empty save for a large vessel right ahead. From this angle the rising dawn almost seemed to radiate from the ship itself, bathing the already silver vessel in an even brighter golden warmth. Her hull, half in the water, caught the shimmering currents and blended them into reflected patterns that decorated her sides. All three of masts towered in the light, the sea-blue sails carefree and dancing along to the morning winds.
A ship waking to the sunrise in all her glory and grace.
Kyrenia took a sharp breath. She couldn’t seem to tear her gaze away. From the moment she laid her eyes on the vessel it seemed to be calling out to with her, a siren’s song whispered through the morning breeze that tugged at her very heart and soul. It felt almost like she was made for this ship, like she had known this ship before, like she had once walked her decks, manned her masks, steered her wheel.
It feels…familiar.
“Beautiful, isn’t she?”
The Keeper said suddenly, gaze still on the vessel before them. Llmabros started nodding dramatically, mumbling agreements like the little idiot he was, Kyrenia turned to note. He was definitely entranced by the ship as well — and let her guess, he was definitely head half in the clouds dreaming of sailing on it right now.
She gave him a little whack with the tip of her tail. The guardian jumped.
“This is the Eurydice,” the Keeper continued, not seeming to register the Aegeoens’ response at all. “We have just finished refurbishing it after pulling her from the ocean depths. And from now on, you will be her new captain.”
Both Aegeans exchanged a wide eyed look of disbelief. The Keeper did address them as Captains at the end of the note yesterday, but they had just expected a position for a small ship. Or as co-captains shadowing more experienced Minders.
“But you have to run an errand for me,” they smiled, opening up their claw to reveal a small piece of crystal. The stone glinted in the sunlight, reflecting ripples of intense blue as if it was carrying a miniature piece of the waves. Yet upon closer inspection there was an eerie feeling about the shade in its depths, as if it was channelling chills and darkness from its very core.
“These are blue moon crystals — only found in regions where only the blue moon can be seen. It is believed that they can be found far out in the seas southwest of Arcane. I need you to sail out and collect three for further research. Your first voyage mission.”
Quietly the Keeper ran the other claw across the hull, brushing the dawnlight off the silver with an unspoken gentleness. Soft yet solem, as if they were inscribing a silent blessing upon the vessel, or was bidding farewells to a child they hold dear to their heart.
“Go then, Captains.” They gave the ship one long last look, before finally turning to face the Aegaeons for the first time today.
“Go and take her on her maiden voyage.”

The Eurydice…
is one of the last exploration ship models created by the old Minder families before their fall. Like all Aegaeon vessels, it is capable of travelling in both air and sea.
Unlike most other models used back then, this model of ships contain a sleeker bodice, sacrificing a portion of their heavy artillery for agility. The Eurydice, however, cleverly covered this flaw with the installation of its unique cannon. At the very front of the vessel sits the “Eternity” cannon, bombs rumoured to be capable of warping space and even time upon its explosion.
Heavily damaged when discovered and salvaged from the depths of the Arcane-Plague border bay, most of the ship before has since then been replaced with new parts, but its original structure and outlook was retained. There are no known voyage records of the Eurydice.

from what i see from the sheets right now, you do not have any points! Maybe it is not recorded yet.
Don't worry, I'll note your point usage once it shows up!

Hi! So my points are in the sheet but only three of them? I submitted one Knight nest so it should be four, unless you changed how much a single nest gives you? It seems everybody in the sheet reflects the point totals of 1 for contractor 3 for knight, unless I"m mistaken.
