Extremely negative and stressful experience with A1 Popovo
At the A1 store in Popovo, I was presented with contracts and so-called “free gifts” without being clearly and correctly informed about what I was actually signing. It was not explained to me that these “gifts” were in fact paid services with monthly fees.
In addition, contracts and extra services were registered in my name without my knowledge. This included a router registered at an address where I have never lived, as well as several small programs and services that were added without my consent. In the end, I had to pay all associated costs myself in order to terminate them.
What makes this situation even more troubling is that once it became clear that I **do not speak Bulgarian**, this was taken advantage of. Instead of receiving clearer explanations and transparency, the information became even more limited and unclear, which in my opinion contributed significantly to these issues.
When I tried to resolve the situation at the same A1 store in Popovo, I was repeatedly refused assistance. Even the customer complaints department initially did not take my case seriously and did not believe my explanation, causing me a great deal of stress and anxiety. The majority of the problems and financial losses originated from this specific store, where the contracts were originally signed.
Eventually, I sought help at **another A1 store in a different city**. There, a staff member treated me professionally, correctly, and with respect. Thanks to his support, all unnecessary contracts were terminated within two months. I am now literally free of everything and finally have peace of mind — something that proved impossible to achieve through the A1 store in Popovo.
Due to this extremely negative experience, I **do not recommend the A1 store in Popovo**. I strongly advise future customers — especially those who do not speak the language well — to be **extremely cautious, not to trust “free” offers blindly, and to read everything they sign very carefully**.

Telling them the items are upgrades, they are not, it is another new 2 year contract. They do not abide by EU law and allow 14 days to change your mind. You have to pay to exit even after 24 hours.
Treatment in the shop in Novi Pazar is appalling, they have no respect for customers, just about their sales commission.

It is absolutely unacceptable that every single night the internet stops working or slows down to the point of being unusable, even after I upgraded to a faster plan. Despite multiple technician visits who supposedly “fixed” the issue, the problem remains the same — every single day and every single night the internet either cuts out or becomes extremely slow. For a company that presents itself as a reliable provider, this is completely unacceptable. I expect a permanent solution, not temporary excuses. Oh and don’t ever go into an office to ask for a technician, it will cost you 20lv. What a scam!

A1 is ever worst telecommunication company in the world. I travel a lot and no communication company is so mean to the customer, as they are. Their employees have attitude, they are arrogant, laying to the customers about the temporary SIM cards. I usually come to BG only on the summer and their service is getting worst. Congratulations A1 you got the 1st place in the world for worst customer service. Don't you feel ashamed to have so many bad reviews. Wonder how you are still in business. Hope you will go bancrupcy soon.

This might be the worst internet we've EVER had, customer service? useless, trying to pay? impossible, or always have to pay more even if you have a plan... The web is catastrophic, when you try to write something, it messes up everything... Total robbers as well, they make up excuses so you pay more, it's so expensive and they just want you to pay more and more, even trying to pay is hard, if you click 25€ it goes up to 40€, and also the WORST OF ALL, we have a plan of 9,90€, and we had 7€ on our account, EVERYTIME WE PAY IT JUST KEEPS DECREASING OUR MONEY, TAKING IT AS A TIP! I've been waiting a week for A1 BG to replace my TV Box. I took it to the shop and they said I needed to call A1! 72 hours later noone has called to fix it!!!!! What are we paying these huge fees for, where is the prompt service??? All I got from the sales assistant in Pavlikeni is, '' Do you want to cancel your contract? What sort of customer service assistance is this?

This car yard and Vince deserve less than 1 Star
As a female I was very keen to buy a vehicle from them. In the beginning it’s a typical nice attitude approach.
I asked to have an inspection carried out as I wanted know what requires repairs and what the car may need in 6 months
Vince was reluctant to have the car inspected as he assured me it’s been through his works shop
Anyway I had an independent inspection carried out
I was told the DPF had been cut open and hollowed out (hence the smell which Vince said was normal)
It had badly painted panels with rust beginning to show
The transmissions clutch wear was high and would require replacement soon
The list goes on and on
Vince picked up the car from the inspection mechanic then called him on the phone and verbally abused him.
The mechanic advised that he simply gave a rueful honest report. That’s what I expected to receive.
The mechanic advised me of Vince’s bad attitude and abuse.
Never buy anything from this dodgy shonky business
Or insist on an independent inspection.
Also my apologies to the Mechanic that carried out this inspection
No one deserves to be treated so disgustingly.
