The lowest value for money scammy site
Pay you get credits that have flip coin value :D
ai make mistakes = your mistake no refund nothing
( got flying hand in video )
support doesnt exists the are 50 another better pages
credit = value = outcome = support than this
I was genuinely happy with this product at the beginning. Unfortunately, as time went on, it turned into a complete waste of money.
I relied heavily on the voiceover tools to bring my projects to life. However, once the company introduced its so-called “toolkit upgrade,” many core features were suddenly disabled—without any prior warning to customers.
When you contact technical support to understand what happened, you receive inconsistent and contradictory answers. It quickly becomes clear that no one truly knows what’s going on, and that support is simply trying to keep things moving without addressing the real issues.
What’s most frustrating is that the company is fully aware there are serious problems with the product, yet they continue to sell it anyway. We are paying more while receiving less. There is no accountability, no transparency, and no compensation offered—even when the issues are clearly on their end.
Although customer support responds quickly, the replies are largely useless. They provide vague or convenient answers that create false expectations, seemingly just to meet internal metrics. As creators, our needs are clearly not a priority.
This is not a reliable product. On top of that, generating images or videos is ridiculously expensive—especially when other companies offer previews, better features, and lower prices.
Overall, the product is marketed far better than it performs. Features are embellished to drive sales, but the actual experience falls far short of what’s promised. I trusted this company, and that was a mistake. I strongly recommend others think twice before doing the same.
I’ve had a great experience with Artlist and can honestly say I highly value both the quality of their content and the professionalism behind the platform. The music and assets are top-tier and were a big part of my creative workflow.
I recently had to cancel my subscription due to a complete career change unrelated to creative or film production. The customer support team handled everything flawlessly — quickly, clearly, and with genuine understanding. The cancellation and refund process was smooth and stress-free, which I truly appreciate.
If I ever return to creative work in the future, Artlist will definitely be my first — and only — choice. Highly recommended, not only for the product itself but also for the people behind it.
I was auto-charged $124.18 without proper notice and did not use the platform during this period.
When I contacted customer service, Ava, Ven, and Brex handled my case.
Unfortunately, despite clearly explaining the situation, they refused to issue a refund and showed no willingness to resolve the issue fairly.
This feels like a misleading auto-renewal practice rather than customer-focused service.
There are many other platforms that are more transparent and respectful toward their users.
I do not recommend Artlist. Be careful with your card details.
Excellent service and a quick response to my request. Thanks.
A Predatory "Trial" Trap Designed to Deny Refunds
The "Pay-to-See" Trap
Artlist.io markets itself as a creator-friendly platform, but their business model is built on a predatory refund trap. While they offer "watermarked" previews, these are often insufficient to judge the actual quality or fit for a professional project. To see the real samples and test the service properly, you are forced to pay for a full subscription upfront—often an expensive annual commitment.
The Refund Denial Scam
The moment you pay and download even one asset to "try" the service you just bought, you are immediately disqualified from their 14-day refund policy. Their support team will tell you that because you "used the service," they cannot refund you.
This is a classic "Catch-22":
1.
You can't know if the service is worth it without trying a high-quality sample.
2.
Trying a high-quality sample (downloading) void your right to a refund.
Poor AI Performance and Wasted Credits
If you are signing up for their new AI features, be warned: the system is incredibly buggy. I experienced multiple failed generations where no video or audio was produced, yet credits were still deducted from my account. There is no automated rollback for failed tasks, and customer support is slow to address these technical failures.
Licensing and Billing Issues
•
Forced Annual Billing: Many plans do not offer a monthly option, forcing you to risk hundreds of dollars on a service that might not meet your needs.
•
"Forever" License Ambiguity: There are numerous reports of users receiving copyright claims on YouTube after their subscription ends, despite the "forever" license promise.
•
Difficult Cancellation: The interface is designed to make unsubscribing as confusing as possible, often leading to unwanted auto-renewals.
Final Verdict
Avoid Artlist.io if you value transparency. There are many other platforms (like Epidemic Sound or Audiio) that offer much fairer trial periods and more honest refund policies. Artlist seems more interested in trapping users into non-refundable annual plans than providing a reliable service for creators.
Advice for the User (Internal Note)
If Artlist has already denied your refund, here are a few steps you can take:
1.
Mention Consumer Protection Laws: If you are in the EU or UK, mention the "Right of Withdrawal" for digital content. While it can be waived upon download, companies must clearly state this at the point of purchase.
2.
Credit Card Chargeback: If you feel the service was misrepresented or technically non-functional (especially the AI credits issue), contact your bank for a chargeback.
3.
Social Media Pressure: Tagging them on X (Twitter) or posting on their LinkedIn often gets a faster response from a human who has the power to override the "policy."
So cool made some realistic oil paintings for my frame tv. Using my actual photos from my wedding and honeymoon!
Jumping hoops to get help with software. It's like they make it impossible to get real answers. And BEWARE of auto-renewals. My issue took 6 months to resolve. Although I continued to use the voiceover part, I am now experiencing problems with not downloading. This is not worth the headache of frustration.
I am from chile and the atention to rosolve my problem was very very good, the answer by email was fast and the resolution is ready to the next day!
Excelent service!
Agree with the previous reviews. Artlist is an utter scam. When you purchase credits you don't get to roll them over. The next month it resets so Artlist has essentially charged you for credits and not allowed you to use it, that's literally stealing from users!!
They also do not issue invoices for all payments. When trying to make contact with their accounts to get my invoice, they only have some AI Agent that's not helpful at all. There are other tools on the market with far more honest user policies i.e. they don't steal!!!
Great customer service!
The AI you start the service chat with does excellent frame work. More complicated matters are than forwarded to a "human" who helps resolving your issue. Worked really well in my case!
All the provided assets are top notch as well. Fully recommended!
Absolutely not recommended. You will have your card information and then you will not be able to unsubscribe from them. They charge 25 euros without warning. Letters to them will not help you and you will have to change your bank card. Scammers!
Three bad things about this service:
1. Actual generation is MUCH more expensive than they advertise!
2. They sneakily apply rolling subscription, be careful!
3. The credits DO NOT accumulate. If you don't use it all this month, they just disappear!
Artlist is just okay for music and SFX, their original offerings. But they tacked on generative AI features that only produce about 10% of useful content, and even then you have to spend a lot of effort fixing it. It's way overpriced for what little value it offers. (rating changed from 3 to 2 stars)
Like most things, this is now being overtaken by AI slop rather than any quality content. That alone is bad, but now they’ve decided to partner with Musk’s Child P**n generating AI to make the slopification that much worse. What a colossal let down from what used to be a great service.
Artlist offers multiple creative opportunities but my needs are concentrated specifically on Music, so initial navigation after subscribing for somebody technically deficient like me needed guidance. And that was immediately, patiently, professionally, and impeccably forthcoming from the friendly team at Artlist, and seemingly at all hours. Available content appears endless, potential limitless, service and advice faultless. Impressive and highly recommended.
Video generation is so expensive and the content it creates is unusable. Avoid at all costs.
You pay like £19 for a monthly subscription and it gets you 1 12 second generation and if it's poor which it is then you don't get another go until you pay for it...
I love the quality of the service as well as the speedy and dedicated customer service. Highly recommend Artlist!
Supportive, friendly and helpful communications. Great service.
Team was helpful in answering my questions directly an they were timely.
