No tablets, no reimbursement. Very disappointed. They have lost a customer. I will not be recommending GearBest anymore.

I had ordered stuff on GearBest before and things didn't go smoothly for everything the first time but as it was recommended by an IT friend, I assumed it would go well. That was a couple of years ago. In December 2022 I ordered two tablets and with much toing and froing from their support staff, nothing came of it. I have not received my tablets or been reimbursed. Do not use them, they are not reliable. A pity.

Ordered two drones separately, one was credited to my account, now that money is gone and second drone hasn’t showed up and they won’t answer emails, so total, I’m out about $400 dollars.

This does not even deserve 1 Star.

I bought a Teinkem 7.3" screen advertised phone via gearbest.com which is normally a reasonable outlet for wierd and cheap, but from exeperience quality phones, never had any issue with their products, having used them since 2016, where I bought a "Vernee" branded phone, it never missed a beat and bought some phones over the years, with 4 upgrades of various Two "vernee' branded phones and offered genuine and pretty cheap, good quality android phones that you actually got what you paid for. My wife needs large screens due to cateracts, and was very happy on the site to see a clone brand called a "Tienkim S22+ Ultra" which said it was a 5G phone (usual price $578 AUD) but being sold at a flash sale price of $289.36, but significant to me was that it had a 7.3 Inch screen, just looked spec at a basic clone brand phone (this is Nov 2022) but with a decent refresh rate, AMOLED screen etc, but once it arrived I realised it was a fake phone so started to challenge the purchase, as it did not have the promosed 7,3" spec screen, used Paypal (never use anything else due to its superb buyer and fraud protection) and when it arrived, it was just a 6.67" screen. Complained and asked for my money back, and got told to send the phone back at my cost to china (cost worked out to be over $50 dollars AUD). No, thats not fair, so got the usual support challenges bull about being offered a discount from seller (I think Gearbest has started 3rd party selling, maybe that is their whole modus operandai) but I have never had a full on fake, not even matching the specfication advertised.. I just changed tact with it after a week of back and forward being offered a discount refund of 30%, but the sale worked out to be pure fraud at my end, 7.3" screen promised and did not even look at the other specs of the phone, I only bought it due to the offer of the screen size due to eyesight issues, and being delivered a 6.67" took my complaint back to paypal with screenshot of original phone advertisement page of what I bought, with the picture of what was delivered being a 6.67 and a refusal to accept any form of RMA, and Paypal refunded entire amount paid. Gearbest after being a customer on that site for SEVEN years and a history of buying FOUR phones through that site, rewarded me by DELETING my account.

I only found out they had done this as my have accidentally damaged my Redmi Pro 10+ and need a replacement. I wanted to see if they had the global version at a decent price

Have screen shots of my purchase, order and pictures of the phone delivered. Rediculous and wary experiences like this now force me to only use AMAZON and EBAY for their quality guarantees, and PAYPAL due to their challenge process is a futher step to stop fraud for online purchases. Only ever use PAYPAL to buy with your credit card...

I had around 50usd in my wallet

I had around 50usd in my wallet, updated the site and everything is gone no points and no money in the wallet. Avoid this scam website is very bad. I contacted them for help they told me sorry, and offered coupons... like buy 900eur worth and get 30eur off ... they stole my money without any notice and updated their website.

They've updated their scam tactics

They've updated their servers, at least that's what they told me, and while doing so deleted all the accounts.

So you have to register again. Which wouldn't be so bad, but even if you do, all the info is gone.

All your orders, customer support tickets, refunds, GB points, G-Wallet... all of it is gone.

So, if you had any money from a refund in your account GONE, and they're not willing to refund it. Essentially they've stolen your money, and there's not a single thing you can do about it. At least that's the gist I got from the support until they stopped responding. At least I didn't loose that much like some people have.

Same thing with any recent orders. If you haven't gotten the item, there's a high chance you aren't going to. Even if you do receive something, it's either going to be a random thing, or a broken POS that you can't return or claim warranty on.

Best thing you can do is request a refund from you bank/paypal/credit card and report them for scamming.

STAY AWAY OR THEY WILL SCAM YOU !
Report them as such and choose another store to do business with.

Do not buy third party products off…

Do not buy third party products off gearbest platform! Be vary, if the product is broken or dodgy they will not return your money and will not want the product back! Gearbest and third party Chinese suppliers are very dodgy, BEWARE.

Used to be great, now awful.

Used to be great, now they are awful. What happened? Bought items from gearbest in the past and was very happy.. But recently something has changed. The website has changed, all the accounts have disappeared and you have to start a new account. Only problem is that all your order info has gone too. Ordered £500 of items from France (apparently) and 1 month later they still arent here. Tracking says they've received shipping info (in china) and that's it.. Support says that I just need to wait, but its impossible to view the support tickets because they accounts are deleted. Starting to smell like a scam. Requested a refund from my bank.

You may not receive items you order

Avoid Gearbest at all costs - you may not receive items you order. And when that happens, Gearbest customer support does nothing to help. Their claims about money back guarantee or exceptional customer service are completely false. It is a very unreliable company - avoid avoid avoid.

I have asked for refund 20 times already and still have not received it. It is just a waste of my time.

I will be suing Gearbest on order I have not received.

From an original price of 168 Euros for a smartphone, I welcome the offer at 87. This is the promise: Global Version 2022 New i13 Pro Max 6.7 Inch Smartphone 16GB + 512GB 6800mAh 4G/5G Network Dual SIM Android Cellphone - White China. It is presented as "full screen" but has a giant frame. Luckily I pay with Paypal. I get a toy smartphone! From the gearbeest.it website the phone contained; 4 cameras with 50,000,000 million pixels; Fingerprint; facial recognition; but especially with Android 11 ! I say to myself: it's a deal. I order. A crap smartphone arrives at my house. Check the info. The card writes that everything promised is such. I download an app to check the system and I discover that the front camera, the front camera is one, both of poor quality, 3G, there is no fingerprint, processor never heard of am especially ANDROID 5! IT HAS BEEN THREE MONTHS THAT ON THE GEARBEST WEBSITE THE OFFER ENDS IN 20 DAYS...
I wrote to the seller and he replied: how much did you pay, we sent this to you.
I wrote for a month, almost every day, to support. When after a month they repeated it for the second time, with a copy/paste of the answer, I got pissed. They replied that they accepted the compensation and that I had to send the product at a cost of 62 Euros.
I contacted Paypal who gave me my money back within a month.

Ho contattato Paypal che in un mese mi ha restituito i soldi.

The Gearbest system says my order was…

The Gearbest system says my order was delivered to my house, but when I got there, the item wasn't there. I have gone back and forth with them and the seller for months. At this point, they are not planning to refund my money or ship me the products that never arrived. Also, it took well over one month for my products to get to America and then they never arrived at my house.

They used to be ok about 5 years ago. That's all history now.

I received defective merchandise and I was provide two options: refund via credit card or refund via GearBest wallet.

I was told the amount in the wallet will never expire. But what I wasn't told is that I only have a certain period of time to use the amount to purchase items on their website.

Fast forward to present day, I wanted to make a purchase at one of their vendors on their site. I was told nope. Only on their pathetic tiny "store".

I requested 5x to have a supervisor reach out to me and make an exception. Each five times I was provided the same canned scripted response that the wallet cannot be used at any other store on their website. Never did a supervisor reach out.

Additionally,in one of their responses they mistook me for someone else and made some excuses about their app et al.

These folks at GB are really bots in disguise. I doubt they're human. While AliExpress has many shortcomings, it's not as bad (overall) as GB.

I'm sure hope GB's days are numbered and they'll be shutting down soon.

This a scam

This a scam. I bought a $500 laptop from Gearbest almost a year ago and it never arrived. They made excuse after excuse for why it had not even been dispatched and eventually, I gave up and asked for a refund. They granted me the refund but the money NEVER came. I then tried to get a different product with my money credit, seeing as they were not sending my money back, this product also never was dispatched. This is a SCAM do not buy from here, you will not see your money again or a product. I have complained multiple times, there is no phone number to call only automated messages saying that the product is on the way- a complete lie.

They are a disgraceful company to work…

They are a disgraceful company to work with I ordered product from them 2.5 years ago, the product was not available so I have been asking for a refund since then. More recently they have said they are unable to refund me but want to give me credit instead but I have absolutely no confidence in their organisation. Don't use them to purchase goods their ae far better sites with far better customer service
