Best Power tools but absolute worst customer service. Rude, untrained, foreign, work from home and not a care in the world individuals. Absolute disgraceful service.
Dare to buy a spare switch for your professional tool and they charge me, don't send it, have me emailing, calling and nothing !!!
They tell me they have proof that the items were sent out to me twice!!! Well, check the tracking and both times the photos are of a warehouse workers feet with the wrong postcode. What is this mystery postcode?! Oh it is the Bosch warehouse where my items shipped from. So although the tracking/photos and emails all communicate the same thing, they still think I am pulling a fast one and haven't received a refund or the parts!!!
Absolute joke. If I didn't like the tools so much this experience would have made me change companies. I can't tell you how much time this has taken and how angry this has made me. So the choices I have is buy a whole new tool or wait for these incompetent people to send me my bits.
I would give zero stars if I could. I've been with Bosch for 20 years and spent thousands and this is how they treat me over a £9 order. What a JOKE
Ordered 3rd December 2025, we are now January 28th 2026
BOSCH Do not honor their sales
The company had listed goods online that i placed an order for. they then would not honor the prices and are now not responding to my emails or calls.
Not what i expect from a multi-national corporation that i have used for years - Ill be switching all of our tools to Milwaukie.

Similar poor experience with customer service. Staffed by jobsworths who show no aptitude for looking after and retaining customers. Bosch service used to be good what happened?
Bosch have now decided to help which is great. It's been a struggle. It was never about the money. Customer Service is a crucial part of any company's operation. I've upgraded my review to three stars. I hope that Bosch take my comments on customer service, on board, as being constructive.
Poor customer serice.
Zero customer service. Unable to be put through to any sort of supervisor or manager on the phone. Instead you are up against a customer service agent who clearly doesn't want to speak to you.
Poor show. This put a massive dent in my brand perception. I thought you guys would be German efficient. Unfortunately not.
FREE BATTERY PROMOTION!
They get 1 star but only because you can't give zero stars! Bought a drill from Screwfix, the offer was you got a free battery with it but you had to apply for it through Bosch themselves, sounds easy!! 2 years on and I still haven't got the battery so much so I've given in! Absolutely the worst after sales service I've ever experienced, I never spoke to anyone who was remotely interested in my problem if anything they couldn't of been more unhelpful! Do yourself a favour and buy a different brand
Unreliable tool, poor customer service
Second angle finder purchased. First one stopped working and deemed unrepairable. Against my better judgment bought a second one. This has also failed. No support available from Bosch, just told they cannot repair them as they don't keep parts for them, despite these items still available from new. Very disappointing service, avoid purchasing this item - GAM 220 MF ANGLE FINDER
Bought a Bosch,ie Chinese
Bought a Bosch,ie Chinese, corded scarifier. It lasted two hours then cut out. Fair enough. Left it two days then it ran for 30 seconds then cut out.
Bosch and FedEx were useless at taking it back for repair, so the online retailer, excellent by the way and helpful, said this isn't right so l ve had it picked up for a refund. Green Bosch tools are not fit for purpose.
Don't waste your time with this…
Don't waste your time with this company, they customer service is non-existent.. they've had my table saw for over two weeks.. told me it would only be five days.. all I get is copy and paste responses when I inquire... never again when I buy another Bosch tool...
Bought a Bosch sander
Bought a Bosch sander. And of course it makes dust. The fact is now that the machine cannot withstand dust. Although I blow it clean after each use, dust remains. The service person said that the warranty does not apply as the machine is full of crap. At least they were honest Bosch machines is full of crap.
DO NOT BUY BORSCH PRODUCTS
DO NOT BUY BORSCH PRODUCTS
I purchased BORSCH LAWNMOWER it broke down I sent it to BORSCH it has been 5 weeks but no sign of repair work .
The machine is under warranty but all I am getting is excuse.
They want me to pay for power cord but the problem was with the blade not rotating.
I had explained everything to them but I keep getting different excuses.
I have called 14 times but customer service agent all repeat same thing, We have sent email to work shop to repair the blade and leave power cord.
Customer service agent are rude .
One such agent name KYLE I have spoken with him several times and he told me he never spoke with me before.
I said I have record and then he concedes and refuses to deal with my complaint.
I sent complaint via email no response.
They have cost me over £500 to get my lawn cut .
I have told them I have to pay to get my lawn cut and customer service agent was rude and said I can not do anything but I will record your complaint.
Spoken a few days later and next customer service agent said there is no record of you making a call to complaint.
Dont buy borsch products as you will disappointed because they have worst customer service and product will not be replaced or repaired.
Borsch worst company to deal with.
THEY TELL CUSTOMERS PRODUCTS UNDER WARRANTY BUT FACT IS BORSCH WILL NEVER HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY.
ALL YOU WILL GET IT EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE UNTIL YOU GIVE IT UP .
THEY HAVE NOT REPAIR MY MACHINE OR RETURN IT BACK.
AS WELL AS NOT BEING REPAIRED I HAVE ALSO LOST MY LAWNMOWER
DON'T TRUST BORSCH OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT.
Untrustworthy company selling junk
If you’re tempted to trust Bosch due to the widespread myth of top German quality, think twice. I bought my Indego automatic lawnmower last year, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Since then, it’s been in repair three times and has never worked as described.
The lawnmower cuts unevenly, leaving up to three-quarters of the lawn uncut. It freezes mid-job, gets stuck in “finding position” mode, and frequently displays “outside of parameter wire” errors even when it’s in the middle of the lawn. Adding to the absurdity, while in repair, it sent push notifications to my phone about encountering obstacles. This is a joke of an automatic lawnmower for almost EUR 900!
The first repair, a month after purchase, was handled swiftly, giving me hope. However, this year, I had to send it in again. I was instructed to send only the device, but later received an automatic email demanding payment for a docking station I never requested. After struggling to contact a human representative, I was told this fee was for a new docking station. Once I shipped this part, the mower was “repaired.”
I thought the ordeal was over, but it malfunctioned again, requiring another repair. Despite a valid warranty, I was asked to pay over EUR 150 for part replacement. Multiple emails questioning how I could be blamed for inaccessible parts’ failure were met with silence. The only communication has been a cost estimate stipulating that the dismantled device can be returned for a fee of EUR 20. This is ludicrous.
After sending multiple emails to the repair center and the main Bosch headquarters, I received a reply today stating that the device can be reassembled and returned to me for a fee of EUR46. This seems absolutely ludicrous. To say that the situation has reached absurdity would be an understatement.
The level of after sales customer service is next to nonexistent and -- even in Germany -- it's hit rock bottom.
My advice? Never buy this piece of garbage. You'll save a lot of time and energy you'd otherwise spend on exchanging emails with the most unhelpful customer service on the globe.
Garbage
Overpriced junk. Bought a hedge trimmer. Have used it twice and now it has stopped working. No way of establishing whether it the tool itself or the battery or charger that is at fault and it would cost more than a replacement to have it checked. Tried to get help from Bosch - what a joke. Got onto a chat line who then sent me to another site where I got no help at all. Seems they are only interested in selling items not after sales service. AVOID
Bosch = Junk
Bosch = Junk. Will never buy another. I have a chop saw, jigsaw and a cordless drill. Currently replacing all three with Dewalt and Milwaukee.
Review of Bosch AdvancedHedgeCut 36V-65-28
I was bought the title Bosch battery hedge cutter as a Xmas present in 2022 and its only in the last few weeks that I have been able to give it a good try out. The machine is fairly light and so far has coped with all the bushes that I have trimmed. I’ve not yet used it on any substantial field hedges – hawthorn/ blackthorn etc but have no reason to believe that it won’t be OK. It’s obviously not as powerful as the corresponding Bosch AHS 70-34 70cm 700W 240V Corded Electric Hedge Trimmer which I use for all cutting jobs close to a power point. I also have an old Echo petrol hedge cutter which has been very reliable but now is proving difficult to start mainly due to problems with the current government craze for adulterating petrol with ethanol – E5, E10 etc. It was this problem which drove me to pursue a cordless option.
On the whole I’m reasonably satisfied with the 36v machine although I am slightly disappointed with its power output. I am now in the market for a good quality cordless pole hedge trimmer as my last one from Garden Gear has proved too fragile. However, I’m afraid that I won’t be buying a Bosch machine for the following reason:
As mentioned above my new 36v cutter was a present which my wife, shopping early for Xmas, bought in October 2022. When I unwrapped it in late December it promised an extended warranty from 2 to 3 years if I registered it. However, the blurb went on to say that it must be registered within 1 month of purchase. Since it was impossible in my case (and I suspect other recipients of similar machines at Xmas) I decided to ask the company to extend the warranty for me. I went on the company web site and used the official contact form to send my request on 8/1/23 – no response. So I re-sent it again on 17/1/23 – still no response. From this I conclude that this is yet another large company making all the right claims about promoting good customer relations when it fact it couldn’t give a damm. So I’m afraid Bosch won’t be getting any further business from me!
Bosch do not honour their promotions
Bosch do not honour their promotions
Bought power tools with offer of free battery.
Did not happen.
Lots of weasely refusals, but no real reason.
See from reviews that I am not the first.
I have a house full of Bosch products, but no more
Bosch Repairs
It doesn't look like I am alone in my treatment by Bosch looking at other reviews giving one * only. 72% of them.
I have one of their expensive mains drills that needed attention. When I contacted them to do a repair they refused and said they did not have the parts. They offered a new one for £200 less 20%. I took it to a local shop who fixed it for £36 - the same amount of the discount Bosch was offering on a new one.
Besides the drill I have a professional saw bench, cordless drill, router and jigsaw - all by Bosch.
In our kitchen we have a double oven, microwave and dishwasher - all by Bosch.
We have bought Bosch over the years on the basis of reliability and service. Our attitude has now change.
Be careful with 18V battery actions!!!
Purchased 3 devices during a promotion where you would get a free battery. Devices were registered on the Bosch promotional website on the day of purchase. After 3 months I still had not received any batteries and I contacted Bosch "customer service". After sending confirmations 4x in different file formats (because they claimed they couldn't open the attachments...) and being kept busy for more than 15 emails by their so-called "customer service", Bosch still refused to deliver the batteries. Be warned!
Bosch hand and power tools
I have recently bought some hand and power tools from Bosch.
Delivered by Amazon came on time at a reasonable price.
Unfortunately the quality of the drill set was very poor.
But not as bad as Bosch customer service.
They said that I should deal with Amazon.
All I wanted was them to replace the bent 3mm wood drill they had sent with a new one.
They refused and said that I must deal with Amazon.
So that means sending all of my brand new power tools back and some other brand with good customer service and quality control
Happy at Last
Congratulations Bosch I have now received my replacement hose after 13 weeks, I am really happy it arrived at last, however, the company seriously need to review their procedures as this sort of action will lose customers.
Ref Bosch 4061839922
Ref Bosch 4061839922 now waiting 11 weeks for this replacement hose under warranty. Very Poor Service.
