Shocking!!

Shocking!!! Did not know missguided was now shein. Took an age to arrive which I wasn't warned about, every item was that awful cheap shiny material, not as described AT ALL then to top it off have to pay to return, and follow a ridiculous amount of steps to prove I have done so! I wish I saw these reviews first!! Will absolutely never use again and do not recommend. AVOID

Awful quality and NO RETURN PORTAL

Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering! The clothes are not just terrible quality (I've since found out Missguided were bought out by SHEIN so that's probably why), I had the exact same problem as others - THERE IS NO RETURN PORTAL. You have to go to a courier website and pay to send (not return - send) the parcel back to them. This includes figuring out weight, dimensions, insuring it to the value of the order, etc. - things that would (and should) all be handled by a professional return portal like on, I don't know, EVERY OTHER CLOTHING RETAILER'S WEBSITE. Having now read the reviews and seen others don't actually get their money back after returning, I'll save myself the additional return cost (which is nearly £10 FYI - usually no more than about £4 deducted from other retailers), and try to resell these shoddy items secondhand to recoup some of my cost. I'm shocked tbh - this used to be a good shop, and now its unprofessional and sweatshop-esque. I highly recommend you DO NOT BUY.

Returns Nightmare — Still No Refund


I’ve been a Missguided customer for years and never had major issues until now.

I recently returned a dress due to poor quality and bad fit. I followed their returns process exactly, met all criteria, sent the item back, and kept both postage and tracking receipts. However, their returns portal repeatedly failed when uploading the required images.

I contacted customer service multiple times via chat and email, but there is no way to speak to a real person. I only received automated or error responses, with no resolution.

Missguided have the returned item and my money, yet I still haven’t received a refund. Being stuck in an endless loop of chasing is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend ordering from them.

The return process is really tedious like other reviews already said. It is also costly. I had to figure out how to do the return myself. I contacted them for help a couple of days ago but there was no reply. If anyone wants to know in case they didn't reply about the return, you have to "Send" the parcel yourself to their return address. So rather than "returning", you are "sending" the parcel to a recipient. On the Evri website, I had to add the address and everything myself and pay for the parcel myself, which cost me around £7. Then go back onto the Missguided website and enter the tracking number from the label. Avoid Missguided at all costs.

Don't bother ordering

Items came from China so didn't receive them in time for the event I wanted them for. Returned one of the items on 11/01, had to pay to return the item through Evri. They have confirmed the return but Misguided still haven't confirmed it or refunded the money. Just to add insult to injury I did pay in 3 through Klarna, they duplicated my payment plan so I have paid double. Have been backwards and forwards with Klarna and misguided and they both just sending me to the other. Won't order from misguided again.

I will never order from here again

I will never order from here again. I ordered from Canada and the parcel went to Jamaica and back to store. I never received parcel and had to pay for the 50$ to ship to Jamaica and back to store. Never had a company do that. Disappointed kid and money lost.

Terrible experience - placed a large order but had to return all but one thing due to faulty stitching, poor quality and inconsistent sizing. Had to pay for the return postage myself (which was nearly £15), Missguided promised to reimburse this but sent it to the wrong PayPal account and refused to correct their mistake. Missguided used to be great but since being taken over by SHEIN it’s terrible.

Poor quality of item and customer service

Poor quality of item and customer service. I ordered a skirt which was damaged when it arrived (had a rip down the seam). The parcel came in SHEIN packaging which I was surprised about as I wasn’t aware that miss guided were now getting their clothing from SHEIN. It took ages to come too so I think it got shipped from china. I asked for a refund due to the damaged item which they were happy to give me a ‘100% refund’ - however, they only refunded me what I paid for the item and not the £4.99 shipping fee. I don’t expect to lose out on money when I receive a damaged item, but they are refusing to refund me shipping costs despite the damaged item.

WARNING DO NOT BUY

You’ll pay to return. Quality is the WORST

Zero stars. The quality is the poorest ever! I ordered 5 items totalling about $100. The photos doesn’t even come close to the actual items. The fabric is the worst. I MEAN THE WORST.

I wouldn’t order from this shop. You’ll end up having to pay for returns. I paid $20+ trying to return the items. Mind you the address they send you to delivery the items isn’t even accurate per UPS. The zip code is all wrong.

I’d rather spend $100 on 1 item with great quality than 5 items that’ll go straight to the trash anyway.
