Utransparent

Jeg bestilte et vægtstangssæt, som stod til 4–6 dages levering og var markeret “på lager”, da det skulle bruges som fødselsdagsgave. Da jeg ikke modtog nogen besked om afsendelse inden for to dage, kontaktede jeg dem både telefonisk og på mail.
Først fik jeg at vide, at nogle af vægtskiverne alligevel var udsolgt og først ville komme på lager i december. Jeg blev tilbudt at få dem byttet til andre skiver, som var på lager, og fik lovet, at ordren så ville blive sendt samme dag.

Da jeg stadig ikke modtog en bekræftelse, ringede jeg igen lørdag, og fik først svar søndag. En anden medarbejder kunne konstatere, at varen ikke var blevet sendt alligevel, men lovede, at den ville blive sendt “i dag eller senest i morgen”.

Jeg har først nu fået opdatering om at den er sendt og håber virkelig den når hjem til tiden. Alligevel ville jeg have annulleret købet tidligere, hvis jeg ikke gentagne gange var blevet lovet hurtig levering. Det var alt for meget stress og for mange gange jeg skulle selv følge op.

Returneringer ikke ok

Købte et produkt i Silvan Nordens Plads, som manglede de nødvendige skruer og instruktioner. Jeg byttede det til et nyt, som så viste sig at være defekt ved montage. Ved anden returnering to dage senere blev jeg overrasket over at finde, at det oprindelige produkt (som manglede både skruer og instruktioner) bare var blevet sat tilbage på hylden, selvom medarbejderne blev informeret om årsagen til returneringen. Ikke særlig troværdig.

Pretty happy so far

Pretty happy so far!
Up until today I have only had good experiences and I'm happy I have made the switch. I do miss the app and phone support a bit that other companies offer, however, the price is very competitive and I understand the trade-off I made.
My questions and requests have usually been solved in a quick and helpful manner, and it was convenient that I could get both El and Gas under one roof with their new offer.

Rocky start, but they made up for it

Update 28.05.2025:
After I reached out with my feedback, RenCykel really made up for the bad experience. They picked up my bike again to fix what wasn't fixed, and replaced my luggage strap that was beyong saving. Throughout the process, the communication and follow-up was great. I still think their pick-up and delivery makes them a strong candidate for future service.

TLDR:
+ Convenient, reliable pickup and friendly chaffeur
+ Bike was serviced as agreed and I could choose what should be replaced BUT
- Hefty markup on spare parts
- Incorrect invoice and threat of late fees before even sending the correct one
- Bike was delivered back dirtier than it was before (ironic given the name)

Unfortunately I cannot recommend a service at Ren Cykel, even though the concept is super convenient.

I received a gift card for a big service which I booked on their website. The home pickup and delivery option was a huge plus, especially since I live quite far from either of their workshops.

The day after pickup, I was contacted and told that both the bike chain and a gear on the rear wheel needed replacement. I was a bit taken aback by the price of the chain and was hesitant, but was repeatedly told—rather bluntly—that it had to be done. I eventually agreed, assuming that Ren Cykel’s premium pricing reflected the use of premium parts.

However, when I received the invoice, I saw a charge of 499 kr for a PC1 chain — a part that typically costs 79–99 kr. That’s a hefty markup, especially considering it’s a basic snaplock chain that doesn’t require a lengthy installation. Still, since I had already agreed, I didn’t complain.

I then received two invoices without the gift card deducted. I called about this, being told this would promptly be corrected. After waiting with no update, I followed up — only to find the phone lines closed for the weekend.

My bike was returned regardless, which was a relief — but unfortunately, it came back with black smudges on my beige luggage strap on the front carrier. I hadn’t expected a clean bike, but I certainly didn’t expect it to come back dirtier than when I sent it off.

To top it all off, I received a payment reminder by text on Monday morning, threatening late fees if I didn’t pay that same day — even though I still hadn’t received a corrected invoice. After another call, I finally got the right one. No apology or acknowledgment of the error.

All in all, I am quite disappointed with how this went and cannot recommend them for either service or part replacement.

Regarding the price of the chain we fully understand your concern. Our prices reflect not just the part itself, but also the time and expertise involved in mounting and fitting it correctly. As a workshop, we cannot compete with the prices you may find on online shops - we operate with a different structure, where our pricing includes professional installation, part compatibility checks, warranty, and post-service support. We certainly aim to be fair and transparent, and we continuously evaluate our pricing to ensure it reflects the value we provide.

Concerning the incorrect invoice: the reminder you received was an automated message intended to avoid late fees, which are only applied the day after the due date. We completely understand how this felt premature, especially since you were still awaiting the corrected invoice, and we apologize for the confusion.
With regard to your bike returning with black smudges on your luggage strap - that should not have happened. We always aim to return bikes in proper, clean condition. Had we known, we would of course have taken care of it immediately, but unfortunately we weren’t made aware until now.

Dismissive and unhelpful customer service

We bought an apartment in September 2024 and immediately contacted Evida about it, asking to forward the invoices to us. They (understandable enough) answered that they cannot do that as our name is not on the subscription.

Each time I contacted them about it, they just referred to GDPR and were unwilling to engage in a conversation about it or advising us how to solve the issue. Even though we tried on multiple occasions to get them to give us the amount we should pay them (without sending gas usage, invoice or GDPR protected contact details of the previous owners), they refused to do so, However, they would gladly charge us late fees.

In the end we had to change gas provider to forcably change the gas subscription to our name. While that worked, we still had to pay late fees on invoices we have no idea about (we still don't know what our gas usage is and Evida won't tell us) and now their customer service is even more dismissive and also won't help me to change to Betalingsservice.

I know the situation and GDPR laws are complex, but this bad rating is purely based on how unhelpful and dismissive their customer service has been in conversation (which went on in Danish btw before anybody can blame language barrier)

Godream does not adhere to customer law

Edit: They redeemed a few stars here by following up with me directly and resolving the issue in a quick and friendly manner.

Godream does not adhere to customer law

On the 17th of December 2024, I have written to Godream about regretting a purchase made a few minutes earlier, and making use of my "fortrydelsesret". Ever since I have talked to customer service on the phone twice, both times being assured the claim was received in good order and within the 14 days, so the money would be returned shortly.

It's now been a month, and I have not gotten my money back, which is in violation of § 22 of Forbrugeraftaleloven, stating they have to reimburse the money within 14 days of receiving notice (which they have confirmed to me via email).

Simply stating they are "busy" is not an excuse.

Unreliable at best.

Unreliable at best.
While I understand that estimated delivery time is longer than expected (as I read in other reviews now), I chose their service convinced that I could expect two weeks Denmark > Germany not to be too optimistic.
I dropped the parcel with Christmas gifts off in the store the 13th December and it has still not been delivered. No idea where it is (tracking is stuck on it being “under transportation”) and it didn’t even leave Denmark before the 23th. That is just bad service.

Can't recommend Clearcorrect treatment here

Edit: January 2023, nearly 2 years later and still not done with the whole Clearcorrect treatment. Braces currently delayed 7(!) weeks. Takes MUCH longer than expected due to lack of available slots. Appointments get pushed back to dates that don't work and alternative is to wait another 4 weeks. If I have questions I usually have to wait for a proper answer during the check-ups.


Competent, but don't feel like they were very transparent about costs.
Everyone seems qualified and I received an estimate for the In-Line system after the first visit. However, after that I lacked any sort of communication about what needs to be paid when. First time they sent an invoice after my visit, all good. However, at my next visit I had to make a sizeable advance payment right at the practice that I was neither told about, nor had budgeted for this month.
I had actually called them and asked to move the whole process into autumn of this year which wasn't possible due to long waiting times.

Also got scheduled for wisdom teeth removal which apparently needs to be done for the system, and am yet to receive the cost estimate for that.

TLDR: I feel like I got caught up in a treatment without any option to reschedule at my convenience or have a full overview of actual costs

Excellent service

Finally found the right running shoes for me this morning at the Åboulevard shop. Received excellent recommendations and guidance. The guy helping me (I forgot to ask his name but he deserves some praise) took all the time needed, guided me through different brands and models and I actually learned some things about my running style and the correct type of shoe to support it.
Walked out shortly after with a pair of shoes I'm really happy about. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Heard great stuff, was disappointed

What a disappointment. I had heard so many good things about you and decided to go to your shop at Nørre Farimagsgade last Saturday, expecting some vejledning and good service buying new running shoes.

Unfortunately, the employee I met seemed not interested, despite the shop not being busy. I informed her that, after running in the same shoes for way too long, wanted to invest in a good model, but that I needed some help and guidance in finding the right ones for a neutral running style. At one point I was given a model and upon trying, I noted that I had previously seen that the shoe wasn't for a neutral running style, but for overpronators. She agreed but said it was minimal and didn't matter. That might be accurate, but I think it might be important to know before I sink 1200kr into a shoe that might not be the right fit. At no point was I offered a running test. She just kept asking whether the shoes I had on "felt good".

Unfortunately, that was so unhelpful that I decided to find another shop with better service.

Fraud - should be illegal

I was tempted to buy there at one point, but immediately changed my mind when I saw the astronomical prices. Because I was interested, I went further until the last step.
The site leads you through false queues to give the impression that the tickets are selling out fast. Then they will tell you that your ticket just sold out, but offer you another, even more expensive one. This site makes use of the juristic grey zone that they are sat outside Denmark, as their practice of purchasing tickets in order to resell them overpriced is illegal in the country.

Do NOT under ANY circumstances buy there. Supporting them supports this appalling practice. I know you might love to see this specific concert, but try buying a ticket from someone who can't go. The Facebook event pages usually fill up with people selling on the day of the concert.

I must say that I was a bit skeptic first, since the website doesn't have SSL enabled (https) and the pictures' quality looked a bit unprofessional. However, this first impression was incorrect. I received the headphones I ordered for a very competitive price in perfect state and even faster than I expected. I can definitely recommend this store and will order again!
