Had to place TWO calls to their service department

Had to place TWO calls to their service number for diabetics. Both times I had to speak with someone who's language is NOT ENGLISH and had a heavy Indian accent. I needed to obtain a new lancet as my lancet had the button come off of it. I then received a lancet device that does NOT retract. IT IS DEFECTIVE. And it it too large for my diabetic kit that I carry with the tester unit and test strips.
I then placed ANOTHER CALL, once again speaking to someone who’s language is NOT English with a heavy Indian Accent.
I then received a box yesterday that DID NOT HAVE ANY LANCET DEVICE IN IT. Nor a new tester kit with lancet.
Instead the BOX has an envelope and tube in it for HAZARDOUS items to be returned. It shows on the box BIOLOGICAL SUBTANCE CATEGORY B on the box. NO LANCET REPLACEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW IS A DIABETIC THAT TESTS THREE TIMES A DAY TO DO A TEST WITHOUT A REPLACEMENT LANCET????????????????????????
I tried to do an online chat with a person on their website and all they could say is for me to call them.
For a company that deals with diabetics please employ people that know how to speak to the customer. And knows how to fill a box with a replacement lancet. Especially one that WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snowbirds Be Aware

I am a snowbird with Verizon Wireless. My account address from my Primary Address had to be changed to my Secondary Address just so I could get my Verizon Wireless Phone that I ordered. Since I did not receive the phone I then cancelled the order. I found that in doing so, it changed the insurance that I carried for the phone and my Verizon MIFI. This posed a problem as I needed to have my ORIGINAL payments back to the way they have been. AND ADDRESS. I tried to change it via a chat. That was taking over 2 days to get this done. I had to do the chat and due to waiting for the person I chatted with, I GOT DISCONNECTED. This happened MORE THAN ONCE. Then, OF COURSE I HAD TO REPEAT YET AGAIN the problem. It should not take a LOT OF EFFORT TO GET AN ADDRESS CHANGE DONE. And two days So, if you are a SNOWBIRD and do a change BE AWARE OF THE HEADACHES AND TIME YOU SPEND TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Save time and DO NOT BUY A PHONE FROM VERIZON, Instead buy one and Transfer it to your account.

I wanted to upgrade my Verizon Wireless…

I wanted to upgrade my Verizon Wireless cell phone from 4G to 5G. I went to Verizon and said that I want to trade in my phone for free. Instead, I was told that the various phone would COST AND THE CHARGE ADDED TO MY MONTHLY BILL. I already have my cell phone and MIFI internet with Verizon. I have been a Verizon customer for SEVERAL YEARS with both of these items on the bill. I already have a bill that I can live with. But, I WAS NOT was told about a FREE PHONE. So where is the FREE PHONE that VERIZON STILL ADVERTISES???? What a GIMMICK.

An Addendum: I found that the person I spoke with at Verizon did something, for when I got home and wanted to make a call it stated I was not connected to any service. But, when turning on the phone it shows VERIZON. I was still able to text.

So, I then had to try to get this fixed. The first time, Verizon could not call me. I then spent over TWO HOURS with chat. The first person Mary had connected me to MARK in Tech Support. Instead of helping me, HE DISCONNECTED. SO, I had to redo the chat and finally got the phone to make and receive calls.

DOES ANYONE AT VERIZON CARE OR KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING??????????????????

This was my second year of using H&R…

This was my second year of using H&R Block online to do my federal and state taxes. We were SHOCKED to get a notice from the IRS that we OWED OVER $2,000. We thought that as seniors and using them for filing would be great. Especially, since we received notices from H&R Block stating 'Congrats, your federal return has been submitted to the IRS! There's nothing you need to do now. We'll contact you if any additional info is needed. Otherwise, we'll let you know when your return status has been updated.' THERE WAS NO UPDATE NOR NOTICE OF US OWING MONEY TO THE IRS. H&R BLOCK ARE LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do Not TRUST Verizon Wireless

I received a notice for a cell phone number I NO LONGER HAVE with Verizon. It was for someone changing their email address. I got rid of that number at least a year ago. I talked to Verizon Fraud Department and they WILL not do anything about it. They claim that it is NOT FRAUD. I then asked HOW LONG DOES MY OLD PHONE NUMBER STAY UNDER MY NAME/ACCOUNT? That person could not state how long and claim it is NOT FRAUD. So, I wonder what else that person has about myself!

Amazon Delivery Fiasco WITH NO REFUND YET Update. Refund given over a month later.

Ordered an item that was to be delivered on 12/20 as it was a Christmas present. It started out in one state not far from the delivery site, 112 miles. It then went to a different state at one city, then another city in that same state. Then, it came back to the state where it originated from, but a different city which is the same distance, 112 miles from the delivery point. It left that site and 2 MINUTES later was back there. NEVER GOT THE ITEM. I CANCELLED THE ORDER on 12/29.
The item was delivered after the cancellation. But, it was delivered by US Post Office.
On the box it had written on it NIB. That means NEW IN BOX. So someone from AMAZON was CAUGHT TRYING TO SELL my ordered item. And then gave it over to the Post Office for delivery.
Amazon NEED TO FIRE the employees that were involved.
Since it was CANCELLED it was given to the Post Office to return to Amazon. Watch what you buy from Amazon, and especially on the delivery status.
Today, 1/9/25, I checked to see the REFUND STATUS. NO REFUND YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is UNACCEPTABLE AS I ACTUALLY SPOKE TO AN AMAZON WORKER WHEN I WAS ON THE PHONE AND THE ORDER WOULD BE CANCELLED. I Spoke with Mihaheao on 12/29/24 at 3:41 pm Pacific Time to cancel. Then, an online chat with Thariq on 12/31/24. HOW MANY PEOPLE MUST THIS REFUND GO THROUGH AND I TALK TO FOR THE REFUND??????????????????????????
1/11/25, STILL NO REFUND NOR AN EXPLANATION FROM AMAZON.
As of 1/17/25, I saw that according to Amazon, the item was NOT YET returned. But, luckily I had the tracking from the USPS, and it showed that YES, Amazon DID GET THE RETURNED PACKAGE. They got it on 1/10/25. But yet their website showed it WAS NOT YET returned. DO NOT TRUST AMAZON. I had to have Amazon call me and it was CONFIRMED that Yes, it did get returned to them. I also turned this problem into the State Attorney General. To anyone that uses Amazon KEEP THE TRACKING as you will need it.

Verizon Wireless fiasco missing phone return

I at first was glad to change my cell phone to Verizon Wireless from Tracfone. Well, now I am NOT. After having the changeover complete with the old phone. I had been using it on Verizon, then a problem came about with that phone. Verizon Wireless then sent me a different phone. A refurbished one of course. And I had to return the old phone that was transferred to Verizon from Tracfone. It still had the Tracfone logo on it when you turn it on, which could not be removed. The replacement phone package had a return label and information to send it back to them with the shipping number. I took the package to a UPS AUTHORIZED PICKUP LOCATION. I brought it into the location and the man there gave me a sheet with the shipping number on it so I could track it via UPS. I did track it and saw that it was delivered to the P.O.Box warehouse thanks to receiving the email about it. Well, now a month later Verizon is claiming that old phone was NEVER RECEIVED and I will have to pay for it. I destroyed the information once it was received at the designated address per Verizon. So, whatever you do HOLD ON TO THE TRACKING FOR AT LEAST A YEAR OR SO AS PROOF THAT IT WAS RECEIVED. I now wonder if there is THIEVES WORKING FOR VERIZON THAT TAKE THE PACKAGES AND RESELL THEM. And to think that I have been with Verizon Wireless for 12 years with an internet device. THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to place my order and it came quickly. The batteries that I order do fit. Glad to deal with a US Company that has Real People answering the phones and not having customer service in another country. This company was even suggested by my radio manufacturer. Wish I would have ordered from this company initially. It would have saved me from returning batteries that did not work or fit.

I had changed my cell service from…

I had changed my cell service from Tracfone to Verizon. At first I thought that it was going to be a great change. I found out how WRONG I was. I did get the bundle I wanted. I then needed to get my phone switched with the Verizon Sim card. But, still the phone shows TRACFONE. I had been doing chats online, then called. I had called Verizon Port, which then connected me to Tech Support, Female on 4/15/24. She stated that since my phone was not switching over the way it should and having sim card problems that I would have a temp number. But, the person at Tech Support would have a different phone sent and sim card. These were going to be at no charge since my Samsung Galaxy was old. This was heard by my spouse hearing what was said. It has been three days now. No phone or sim card. I then once again did online chat on 4/18/24.
The last chat was so long to get this corrected that I was DISCONNECTED. So I had to call Verizon speaking to a person that English was NOT the primary language. I needed to know when the new phone and sim card would be received. So, now I found that the person, female in Tech Support WAS JUST BLOWING SMOKE. No new phone nor sim card. She left me with TWO phone numbers. The one I wanted to hold onto and a second as a TEMP until the Phone and Sim card would arrive. It appears that Verizon DOES NOT KNOW what is going on. Just not a way to treat a LONG TIME Verizon customer since 2012.

Tracfone logo DOES NOT disappear

I was told that the best thing to get rid of the Tracfone logo on the phone whenever it gets turned on is to reset it. YEAH RIGHT.

I just got done resetting the phone and STILL Tracfone logo is on the phone.

Guess I will just have to live with the logo as what was suggested NEVER WORKED and that came from a Verizon worker.

Not only does Amerigas want me to pay…

Not only does Amerigas want me to pay for a bill that was the INCORRECT PRICE for propane. They want me to pay for the CORRECT PRICE BUT WITHOUT A BREAKDOWN SHOWING THE CORRECT PRICE. Now they want me to ALSO PAY for the OVERAGE THAT THEY CAUSED that could result in an EXPLOSION. We had to have an OVERFILL TANK installed by Amerigas to alleviate this problem when the tank heats up. The Amerigas Installer stated YES, Amerigas was at fault and there would be NO CHARGE for the service. So instead of getting a CORRECTED BILL, I have THREE BILLS for ONE FILL.
We have sent our complaints to BBB and NY State Consumer Office to hopefully get the problems corrected. And found that AMERIGAS WILL NOT ANSWER THE NY STATE CONSUMER OFFICE.

Amerigas DOES NOT CARE

Amerigas used to be a great company with an in-state office. Now, I ordered propane on their website to be delivered. I copied the information that was printed for my order. I am SURE GLAD I DID. For not only is the propane level down, which I updated online from when I first placed the order. Today is the last day for the delivery. And it is mid-afternoon. So, I called the 800 number finding that it was listed as a missed delivery, and we have been here ALL DAY. The call center is in the Phillipines. I asked about re-delivery and when to expect it. The person could not tell me. We have an appointment we that need to go to which is 3 hours away. I even put in the online order specific instructions, of which the person on the phone did not know of. So, 1. DO NOT order propane from their website as it will be IGNORED and call the 800 number. But be aware you may be on hold for a long time. 2. FIND A BETTER PROPANE COMPANY as we found ones that are local that are cheaper. 3. After talking with the person from Amerigas, they left the delivery date as the last date that the ORIGINAL ORDER was to be received. And they claimed it was MISSED. YEAH RIGHT AS WE WERE HOME ALL WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! So, am trying to find a company that cares.
Today, 12/4/23, I ended up doing a chat with a representative which took a while before they came online. Was stated that it would be bumped up for delivery. Your guess is as good as mine as when the delivery will be done. Find another company to save yourself and your pocketbook.
ON 12/5/23 I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT THE DELIVERY WAS MISSED. CALL WAS AT 10:55 AM EASTERN TIME. THE GAUGE AT THAT TIME WAS 17%. THE DELIVERY WAS MADE THAT SAME DAY
ADDITIONALLY, WE HAVE REQUESTED EMERGENCY SERVICE AS THE TANK IS OVERFILLED AS IT PASSED THE TWO BLACK LINES ON THE GAUGE. WE HAVE TALKED TO THREE DIFFERENT PERSONNEL STATING THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE HERE TO RETRIEVE THE OVERAGE. THE TANK CAPACITY IS 124. WE WERE DELIVERED 104.6 GALLONS. THAT IS ON TOP OF THE 17% THAT WAS LEFT IN THE TANK BEFORE FILLING. THE TANK FILL SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE PAST 80% TO ALLOW FOR EXPANSION. THAT CREATES AN OVERFILL AND POSSIBLE EXPLOSION. FIRST PERSON NAME OF GRACE ON 12/7/23 AT 2:41 PM EASTERN TIME. SHE HUNG UP ON US. NEXT WAS "ALI" FEMALE AT 2:54 PM EASTERN TIME. SHE TRANSFERRED US TO LAST PERSON WE SPOKE WITH WAS A MAN NAME OF "ANIKA" ON 12/7/23 AT 3:15 PM EASTERN TIME. HE STATED THAT THERE WOULD BE A DRIVER SENT OUT AND A NEW BILL CREATED. THIS WOULD BE EXPEDITED AS THERE IS A RISK OF AN EXPLOSION WHEN THE TANK HEATS UP. WE NEED TO HAVE THIS DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO PREVENT ANYTHING ELSE FROM HAPPENING. THE DRIVER OR THE GAUGE IS AT FAULT FOR THE OVERFILL. SINCE THE FILL WE HAVE BEEN USING THE HEAT HIGHER THAN NORMAL PLUS THE GAUGE SINCE THE FILL HAS NOT MOVED!
Amerigas DOES NOT CARE as they HAVE NOT BEEN HERE TO RELEAVE THE OVERAGE NOR CONTACTED US REGARDING THIS HAZARD. We are planning on contacting our state to get some action as we do not want an explosion.
Additionally, the price when ordering the propane on the internet through our account we were given one price. Then the delivery driver came and overfilled the tank. But, on the YELLOW SLIP he handed us the Price Was The Same Price per gallon as ordered online.
When Amerigas drew up the bill Online the PRICE WAS 10 CENTS MORE A GALLON. Had to contact Amerigas to get it corrected.
So, IF YOU USE AMERIGAS HOLD ON TO THE YELLOW DELIVERY SLIP AS YOU WILL NEED IT FOR PROOF TO SHOW WHAT YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY BE PAYING.

App, Points and Gift Card Problems

I have been having problems with the Burger King app on my two Samsung tablets. I have sent many emails to them telling them of the problems. The latest problem was trying to use it at a local BK. I needed to use points before I lost them. I then saw that I have enough points for an Impossible Burger, which I requested. I was told by the clerk that I need to show the code. When I tried to get the code the app closes. I tried and then it asked for the code on my BK Gift Card. I then put it in on the app. Still no code to be found and the app kept closing. The manager then came and my husband and I explained the situation that we wanted to redeem the code for the Impossible Burger. I showed her the app when I chose the item, then again it closed. When I started I had $38.01 on the BK Gift Card, which it does show on the app on the tablet. But, when swiping the gift card, the card showed ZERO on it. That is not right that the app does not work and I am out $38.01 on the gift card. We Not only did NOT get the food, as I was hungry since I just got out of the hospital, We LOST out on using the points that showed 1160 points. The manager threw us out and told us never to come back. I kept telling Burger King of the app problems and now my gift card is showing $0 when I started it had a balance. I even sent a letter to BK explaining this and attached a copy of my receipt from my previous purchase when I used the gift card at that same restaurant, the balance is $38.01. Burger King WILL NOT REPLY to our needs or help us in any way.
I got a reply from Burger King with a special code that I need to use when ordering. Luckily that does work. But NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER OBTAIN A BURGER KING GIFT CARD!!!

As a SNOWBIRD NYSEG WILL NOT HELP

As a SNOWBIRD, I first went online to create my account on May 4, 2023. I then phoned NYSEG to confirm it. The female that I spoke with laughed. Probably due to a problem that was fixed previously which they were trying to collect for a closed account that was from 2021. I requested that the power be turned on May 15, 2023. When my husband and I arrived at our residence on May 21, 2023 there was NO POWER and my husband needs to be on an oxygen concentrator to sleep at night. Plus, we had no water since there is no power for the pump. So, no toilet flushing either without water. We called NYSEG Emergency and since the meter was red tagged all we could do is NOTHING, until the 22nd to speak to customer service. On 5/22, I called NYSEG Customer Service, which then routed me to Turn off, Turn on portion of NYSEG. Then, they transferred me to Emergency Services of NYSEG which I was told that someone would be calling us back in two or three DAYS. And they they were going to route me again back to customer service. I said NO, as I already had gone around the NYSEG offices and no help. I then called NY State PUC and they gave me a case number and if no one called in three hours to call back. I had to call back to the PUC. Then, NYSEG person came to our house to turn on the power. What is crazy is that he is the one that has been turning our power off and on for several years as SNOWBIRDS we close the account and then HAVE TO START A NEW ONE each year to turn the power back on. A woman from NYSEG did call and stated that there USED TO BE SNOWBIRD accounts but they stopped that. No wonder as I was being harassed for a closed account. We NEVER had problems with paying in the past with any of the NYSEG account numbers. And closed accounts CANNOT be re-used by Snowbirds. Waste Management allows Snowbird accounts and they have no problems with it. NYSEG just wants your money and DOES NOT CARE to assist Snowbirds in keeping one account open and if need be dormant. Luckily my husband had an oxygen tank to use for sleeping. But, when he called the oxygen company they stated that the tank is NOT for SLEEPING. NYSEG needs to get SNOWBIRD ACCOUNTS again to alleviate problems as we had. Especially the 21st was our anniversary and not a good one without power.

NYSEG and Snowbirds

I am a snowbird and need to start and end the electric power at our residence. I ended up finding out that an OLD account of mine was still active. And the true account that was to have power turned off was not. It was a real mess. Found out as a SNOWBIRD that NYSEG gives you a NEW ACCOUNT number Each Time you open an account. We are NOT the ONLY SNOWBIRDS using NYSEG services. They need to CREATE ONE ACCOUNT for SNOWBIRDS so there is NO CONFUSION as a single account number would be used. That is EXACTLY what Waste Management does. NYSEG needs to do the same.

I NEVER could get the thing to work

I NEVER could get the thing to work. So, I removed the program from the computer. IOBit is still trying to charge even after contacting them stating the program was REMOVED and I DO NOT WANT the program, nor RENEWAL of it. Now, my charge card company is giving me a hassle regarding the dispute.

I have replied to support per IOBIT request.
and they NEVER TOOK CARE of the charge. I even sent copies of the statement and even gave them the charge company info. STILL THEY NEVER FIXED the problem with the charge.

I was gathering points

I was gathering points, then the company stopped sending emails. Now, all of a sudden I am getting oodles of emails stating that it is from TestSpin. Oh, but it is NOT Test Spin sending them out. It is some ficticious company using their name. I know since I did a cut and paste of their emails to SpamCop. They show a different name each and every time I report a Test Spin email. Guess they as the other person stated that they are out of business. It is a pity since the points added up quickly.
