Awful customer service and substandard goods.
I rang B & Q concerning two sets of outdoor lights that have both failed.
They advised me to return them to the store where I purchased them. I requested that I return them by post to avoid a two hour round trip. The store tell me that they can't do that and suggested that i ring their head office. I am now 45 minutes into phone calls both the branch and head office with no solution.
Amazon would have accepted a return by post and provided a replacement without any fuss.
This is why B & Q is failing. With all of your highly paid executives how can you get it so wrong? Simply learn from business like Amazon before its too late.
Naturally, like many others, I wont be relying on B & Q again.
