Awful customer service and substandard…

Awful customer service and substandard goods.
I rang B & Q concerning two sets of outdoor lights that have both failed.
They advised me to return them to the store where I purchased them. I requested that I return them by post to avoid a two hour round trip. The store tell me that they can't do that and suggested that i ring their head office. I am now 45 minutes into phone calls both the branch and head office with no solution.
Amazon would have accepted a return by post and provided a replacement without any fuss.
This is why B & Q is failing. With all of your highly paid executives how can you get it so wrong? Simply learn from business like Amazon before its too late.
Naturally, like many others, I wont be relying on B & Q again.

Two attempts to contact Bulk about my…

Bulk's reply today after my truspilot update -
"I apologise for the inconvenience. Your refund has already been initiated, but it could not be completed due to a technical issue. The problem has now been resolved, so I kindly ask you to allow 24 to 48 hours for your refund to be processed."
So they have technical issues sending out goods that have been paid for, and technical issues refunding money when they haven't sent the goods out!
Interesting that they reply to Truspilot reviews, but not to messages sent to them from their website.
Update -
I regret trying to use this company.
They connected me after reading this review and offered a refund.
Three weeks later and it's still not been processed.
Bulk clearly have no intention of giving me my money back.
Two attempts to contact Bulk about my missing order.
Still no progress.
Something isn't right, be careful. This looks like a company that is going bust.

£4 to drop a passenger off at the airport!
No doubt the parasitic finance director that thought up this additional revenue stream is very proud of himself/herself.
Not much business sense here. The operator of the airport profiteers on tax payer money in the form of grants for keeping the airport open, but as if often the case, corporate greed is out of control.

Another failing courier firm.

Rather than attempting another delivery, DPD have started leaving our parcels at a post office two towns aways.
Not in our local post office, or even the post office in the next village!
We need to drive three miles, and pay to park, to collect a parcel that cost £6 to have delivered!
A pointless service, not fit for purpose.
No doubt DPD will rebrand soon like other failing courier companies in an attempt to outrun their poor reputation.

47 Minutes for my call to be answered.
The well-paid Co-op Bank executives clearly have contempt for both their customers and staff.
All I wanted to do was update a standing order. This wasn't possible through their bizarre online banking system.
You need new leadership Co-op Bank. Look at how your competitors do it, and do it better, not worse!
Greedy executives, budget middle managers and an exploited workforce.

These small family firms offer products and service that cannot be matched.

We have just recently moved to the Co-operative bank.
Believe me when i tell you that by comparison the Natwest are EXCELLENT!
Excellent App, Excellent Online banking, Reasonably good customer service.

Regrettably I am nearly at the end of…

Regrettably I am nearly at the end of the process of transferring my business account from the Natwest to The Co-operative Bank.
This is an incetivised move by the government to reduce the RBS dominance in the banking sector.
There is a good reason why the RBS dominate, it is due to their good Customer Service.
We have never had any problems with the Natwest.
I am currently 31 minutes into and predicted 60 minute wait on the phone to complete setting up tele-banking.
Presumably the Co-operataive bank offer other services, clearly business banking is not their forte.
UPDATE - I am currently waiting 42 minutes to speak to the Co-Operative bank. My second phone call to them today to get Online banking set up. The first operator told me that she had set it up. Sadly this was not true. I wonder what the next operator will tell me, assuming that I live long enough to get through to them again!

I must admit that I have been taken-in…

UPDATE -
I spent 44 minutes on the phone with JL yesterday to enquire as to why I still hadn't received my phone. They are in such a mess. One department doesn't know what the other is doing, One person promises a solution, only for me to find out on a subsequent call that the previous JL agent was lying. I'm still without my phone!
This-is-why Amazon are taking over. If an item is faulty it goes back to Amazon (at their expense), they fix it and return it to you, its that simple.

I must admit that I have been taken-in by what has turned out to be an urban myth that John Lewis have a high level of customer service.
I attempted to return a two month old faulty mobile phone and was told that i had to return it at my own expense. I raised a complaint concerning this, which I have discovered has been closed with no further action or contact with me.
20 days have passed since I sent the phone to JL, so I decided to contact them for an update and to ask them why they hadn't the courtesy to contact me. The two year sales puff guarantee is not worth the poor customer service experience and time that I have wasted managing JL.
