I ordered from Factor Meals after hearing positive feedbackfrom a neighbor and looking for a healthy meal delivery service. My order, scheduled for Feb 8, was delayed to Feb 9 and arrived at 7 PM in poor condition. The ice packs were nearly melted and one had burst, and the salads were completely wilted and spoiled. I could only eat three meals; the salads had to be discarded. I contacted the company via Instagram and provided my customer ID but never received a reply. When I called customer service, I was given a partial refund only for the salads. The interaction felt scripted and lacked empathy, and the delivery delay was not meaningfully addressed. Although the meals I did try were flavorful, the overall quality and customer service were disappointing. I have cancelled my subscription and cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

After I came out of my emotions because the 110.00 charge was a shock. I realized I need to be accountable for not fully reading the requirements. I subscribe to receive emails often so I thought thats what I was doing. That's no excuse and I am changing my rating because of the 5 star resolution given by Factor. Thank you!!!
What factor wont tell you is when you sign up you are signing up for the subscription. They also dont tell you that if you choose your food selection Like I did and decided no I am going to wait it locks you in and that first box is generated. I didn't even submit the food selections hit cancel thinking I was canceling the order but not realizing I had been enrolled in a subscription. I will not do business with them this was deceptive. They should state if you subscribe its not for their emails but for their subscription program. I thought I was simply subscribing to get emails from them when in fact its a subscription program. Nope, a terrible experience as a first timer never again.

Generally, the meals were ok … no wow factor, just ok. Veggies were crisp, but egg bites had a jelly like texture. Got a free breakfast promise, but everything that looked ok, was “sold out”(only egg bites available ). Delivery problems plagued our experience, with one being storm related and the other just a mystery. With some difficulty, we canceled subscription after only two boxes. Convenient for them, you can’t cancel on the app. Going forward, we will save big money by going back to frozen over fresh.

I have tried several meal services and I always had to add sauce or seasoning and heat it in the oven to make it edible. But a month in Factor, I can honestly say these meals are delicious. I’ve liked every single one and all you have to do is heat in microwave for 2 minutes. I am so thankful for this service.

For the first six weeks of service, two orders never showed up; two were one day late. Today was the last straw. The deliveryt showed up with three meals missing, two meals (salads) with an expired best buy daye, and all the meals were warm (55-58 degrees) because there was no ice in the package. I have had enough and cancelled my subscription. Be warned: you will be disappointed by the miserable service.
This company is compounding its mistakes, I did recieve the refund for the ruined delivery. I had a $120.91 credit for past mistakes by the company which I used for the February 15 order. But then some genius at Factor, without any request, cancelled my membership (which meant I could not use the $120.91 credit). After 25 minutes of wasted time Factor restored my membership but now claimed I was no longer qualified for the free ad on (breakfast). They are now working on that. My time (and I would assume all cusyomer's time) is far too valuable to waste with a company which seems incapable of getting its act together. Once I get my Februarey 15 order (if by miracle the compaby actually delivers it properly), I willcancel my membership and try to forget this company.

Thank you for your response. However, I need to be very clear: the offer you provided does not resolve the issue outlined in my original complaint.
Offering “free boxes” for friends — which still require them to sign up, provide payment information, and enroll in a subscription — does nothing to address the billing and service failure I personally experienced. That is a referral promotion, not a resolution. It shifts the burden onto new customers while leaving my concerns completely unaddressed.
My complaint was specifically about:
• misleading promotional credits
• the handling and cancellation of my existing credit
• inconsistent and unhelpful customer service responses
None of those issues are remedied by encouraging others to sign up for your service.
At this point, it feels less like an attempt to resolve my complaint and more like a marketing response copy-pasted in place of actual customer support. I am asking again for a direct and fair resolution to my account, not incentives for future customers.
Please escalate this to someone who can properly address the situation I raised. I would appreciate a response that specifically explains how Factor intends to correct my experience.
I look forward to a meaningful resolution.

my first order was good the only thing I did not care for was the green beans they were tough it said free breakfast but everything I wanted was sold out but I got to pay for a breakfast that was the same as the free one that was sold out my next order they picked out because I waited to long to choose the meals they chose was a nice variety on thing was that they came a day late they said because of the weather they did not include my breakfest when I opened the box the meals were wet an stuck tighter I tried one an decided not to eat the rest so that was a 80$ loss I cancelled my plan

Horrible service experience! First of all your g of protein are just simply not true seeing the amount of meat. But the biggest problem is that you guys keep charging me and keep sending me meals even when I unchecked subcription months ago and already canceled it twice and yet you re keep charging me. Never again.

Placed order, order accepted. Four days later I receive an email saying my order was canceled because payment failed. I responded in 15 minutes with a new credit card, the other card had been replaced by the bank with a new number. I called customer service and was told they only give 13 minutes to respond to their email to correct payment. I was two minutes late. The delivery wasn't even due for another 4 days. She told me their policy was not flexible. Why didn't they notify me when I placed the order that the payment wasn't good instead of waiting until 13 minutes before?

UPDATED EDIT: the customer care team made me whole but it's a shame they couldn't handle this over the phone and I had to resort to leaving a one star review online to make this possible.
Company advertises 50%, after you sign up and put in all your info, it changes to 40%.
I signed up at 11:40pm and the cut off is 11:59pm so I didn't have a chance to pick my meals. I called them 8 hours later and they said there is nothing they can do as my delivery is 3 days away. So I will be getting meals I am allergic to and can't eat.
Absolutely avoid, terrible customer service. The reviews speak for themselves.

Worst experience I have ever had with a food subscription box. I was looking for a new subscription because I am on a weightloss journey and they were offering a free breakfast for a year deal so I signed up. Nowhere did it tell me that free breakfasts were of limited supply. My first 4 orders i couldn't even get the free promised breakfast BUT i had the option to purchase breakfast still...and the custom support is aweful, mansplaining their deals. I would not recommend to anyone.
