Breaking the fabric of reality, the twin blades warp Phantom Assassin's body. Grants Phantom Assassin a new model and loadout pedestal. The blades themselves come with 3 styles, two of which need to be unlocked.
Features a full set of new animations, with new dual wielding animations, as well as ambient effects.
Features new rare idle animations and a custom death animation, glitching between alternate versions of herself caused by the paradox created by the blades.
Includes new particle effect and sound effects for Coup de Grace, striking the very soul out of victims. The effect changes when triggering against heroes with the Motor gib type and siege creeps.
Includes new particle effects for Stifling Dagger and Phantom Strike.
Features custom ability and hero icons.
Paradox Memorial
[edit]Killing enemies leaves behind a grave marker at the killed enemy's death location. The marker is permanent and cannot be interacted with. When left-click, a pop-up appears, displaying the killed hero's name and hero icon, with an epitaph. If the enemy died to Coup de Grace, the damage value of that attack is displayed as well.
The memorials contain one of the following possible epitaphs.

Styles
[edit]Fulfill the Oracle's contracts to ascend the twin blades even further.
Earn 40/100 victories with Phantom Assassin in matches to unlock the second and third styles for this Arcana, featuring variant color themes and particles. Turbo Mode victories count as half. The amount of victories are tracked by the Rune of the Foreseer's Contract, a gem socketed within the Feast of Abscession. Removing or resetting the gem locks the styles again.

Tailored Sets
[edit]The following sets have been tailored to fit this arcana, they can be equipped with the arcana, but also work without it.
Equipping the head piece of this set together with this arcana in the weapon slot combines the set's weapon with the arcana, creating a twin blade variant of it.
Trivia
[edit]- This bundle was made as a result of Phantom Assassin winning the Arcana vote in The International Compendium 2014.
- Phantom Assassin won over Juggernaut. The total vote results were never published.
- The arcana was released in an event that also introduced Oracle to the game, tying their lores together.
- When equipping the head piece of the Song of the Shadow Dragon set, the Manifold Paradox uses an alternate model and particle effects for the blades, based on the weapon from the Song of the Shadow Dragon set.
- There are several bugs present on this item:
- Immaterial and Fan of Knives are missing a custom icon.
- The custom sound effect does not play when proccing against siege creeps or heroes with the Motor gib type.
- The cast animation of Stifling Dagger creates a tiny dagger in front of Phantom Assassin that swirls around harshly.
- The hero-soul-effect created by Coup de Grace does not properly use a frozen frame of the hero's animation, and instantly changes frames based on what the hero currently does.
- The her-soul-effect also does not consider the target's current offset from the ground, and is always created on ground level, even if the target is flying (e.g. vs Familiar).
- When Phantom Assassin denies herself, a Paradox Memorial is created for her.
- The hero soul effect of Coup de Grace does not work properly on several heroes, only creating a part of the hero's model, instead of the entire model. The following models are affected:
