eOSL Winter 2010 was a 16 players invitational tournament, organised and broadcast by eGG-one.com. Commentating was provided by KroK and aspeak.

"eGG-one is pleased to announce the eGG-one StarLeague, or eOSL! The eOSL is a French StarCraft II tournament organized and covered by eGG-one: 16 of the best French players were invited to the event to share a 3600 EUR cash prize ! We already announce a full media coverage: articles, VODs, strategies, factsheets and more. The team is working hard in order to offer the very best in journalism ... even if you do not understand anything in Starcraft II! We've set the goal of thrilling the viewers of all backgrounds, as well as passionate neophytes.The tournament will run from 19th October 2010 until Christmas. Competition Format

The 16 players were divided into four groups of four, each group was played on a double-elimination bracket, so that two players of each group were qualified for the main bracket. It was played as a single-elimination bracket.

The matchs were played in Bo1 in group stage, in Bo3 for the quarterfinals of the main bracket, and then in Bo5.

Prize Pool

Converted USD prizes are based on the currency exchange rate (taken from xe.com) on December 17, 2010: 1 EUR = 1.31848 USD.

16 French players considered to be the best in the country by eGG-one were invited, including former Brood War legend ElkY.

1 Initially, mak0z from Cyber Nation was invited, but he declined; he stated that he'd prefer to play casually for a moment, and was therefore replaced by Hysteria.[2]
