Many of the stoic high elves, reeling from the loss of their ancient homeland, Quel'Thalas, have given in to their hatred and despair and embraced the dark side of their magical natures. Notes:

  • Flame Strike has a damage cap when it hits more than 6 targets.
  • To cast Flame Strike Blood Mage first waits for animation, then waits declared Channel Time, so roughly 1.5 seconds total. Spell and mana is wasted if interrupted during this period.
  • Pillar damage split evenly for 9 ticks every 0.33 seconds.
  • Fire damage starts after Pillar duration ends and split evenly for 6 ticks every seconds.


Banish

Turns a non-mechanical unit ethereal and slows its movement speed by 50% for a short duration. Ethereal creatures cannot attack, but they can cast spells and will take 66% more damage from Magic attacks and spells.

Notes : Healing spells will also heal for 66% more.

Notes:

  • Healing spells such as Holy Light will also have a 66% bonus effect.
  • Banish can be used not only offensively but also defensively, both as a means to prevent physical damage and increase the effect of healing spells on allied units. Note that the slowing effect is applied even to allied units and that ethereal units retain collision (can bump into other units).
Siphon Mana
Cast Type : Channel
Target Type : Unit Target
Transfers mana between the Blood Mage and a target.

Drains mana from an enemy, or transfers mana to an ally.

Siphon Mana can push the Blood Mage's mana over its maximum value, though excess mana drains off rapidly if not used.

Phoenix

Summons a powerful Phoenix. The Phoenix burns with such intensity that it damages itself and nearby enemy units. Has Spell Immunity, and Resistant Skin. When a Phoenix dies, it creates an egg that will hatch into a Phoenix.

  • Nerf Siphon Mana maximum range reduced to 800 from 850.
