Contagion Garden
Contagion Garden
Contagion Garden intermingles historic varieties of virus-infected tulips with uninfected plants. Virused plants exhibit characteristic streaked petals--a symptom of infection that was once considered the pinnacle of botanical beauty. The chance arrangement only becomes visible when the plants bloom. A series of photographs documents each bulb and bloom.
