I had a good experience with Carsa Bolton Dealership buying my Tesla Model Y.
I had to trade in my BMW X2, which was offered a good trade in price (higher than other dealers online).
Also, the finance, warranty and other maintenance plans were explained to me well. And I was convinced to buy them :)

I bought my car in October 2025. It had a dangerous braking fault, despite the fact that the company advertises a very thorough safety inspection of all the cars prior to sale. When I bought the car back, they made it difficult for me to exercise my rights under the Consumer Rights Act to swap for a more suitable item. Eventually, I managed to get a new car, but they owed me some money back. It took weeks to get the money that they owed me back until I threatened small claims court, where all of a sudden, they found the money and sent it immediately. There was no urgency in dealing with my issue. I was forced to keep hold of a faulty car even though the company knew it had a dangerous braking fault. There was poor communication, lack of response to my emails, even when marked urgent, and the company forces you to pay by BACS transfer so that you do not have the support of a credit or debit card company when they inevitably do not provide the service that they advertise. Avoid at all costs. I would never use them again.

I purchased my Range Rover from Carsa in August 2025, it was supplied with faulty and vibrating brakes. I returned the car straight away to Towcester garage, they repaired one fault but they couldn’t find the other fault. The vibration continued. Although they admitted that there was a fault ( it was loud enough for pedestrians to turn and look ! ) they couldn’t find it even after I took it back two further times. After 3 months of them spraying parts with WD40 and saying the brakes need to bed-in, they gave up and told me to take it to a Range Rover Specialist stating that if there was a fault then Carsa would pay the cost. I took the car to Marshall Landrover who found the fault straight away, I asked them to repair the fault which cured the vibration instantly.
I asked Carsa to repay me the cost of the repair which was done on 27/1/26. They refused saying it was normal wear and tear !! The incompetent Mechanics at Towcester have since lied saying there was no noise, when on each occasion they accompanied me on a test drive and heard the noisy vibration !
This is just a shortened version of the terrible service I received from Carsa. It’s what I would expect from a back street dealer.
Absolutely disgraceful, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Good comms and friendly efficient service. A light touch when selling extras. Could have done with a heads-up re incomplete service history and its effect on Manufacturer's warranty. Might have saved me the trip. A thorough tour of the car explaining features and state would have been useful.

Eric the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. Not pushy and helped make the whole process very good. In fact there was a slight cosmetic issue with a light which he agreed to get fixed as part of the deal, which I though was very fair.
