Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. Was told by IKEA that I would get a call with an hour time slot. No communication at all. Did not deliver on nominated day. Tried over two days to contact both driver and Shift - no reply. Eventually got driver who was totally unhelpful and rude - “I’ve not got your delivery - my van’s empty and I’m not working tomorrow” Delivery has now vanished. Driver claimed he does not have them. IKEA can’t find them. IKEA have tried to send replacement order but some items now out of stock so need a refund. Goodness knows if I will get a refund from Shift who still have not answered. DO NOT USE SHIFT!!
Damaged in delivery
My table was delivered quickly. however on closer inspection about 5 mjns after delivery i could see 2 large scratches on the table top and 1 corner damaged which were NOT there in Ikea Warrington. I had a friend with me in store and we carefully checked the table along with a member of staff before decided to purchase and I paid £299 for it. I was advised it could be delivered in a few hours., which sounded positive. I now i hadnt taken Ikeas advice for your company to deliver. There's no contact details for your company and no information on your responsibilities as delivery service who should be very careful in packing my table into your van and bringing it into my house.

Dysfunctional. I’m half way through a 9 hour delivery window with no further ETA and no access to the delivery company or driver.
Irresponsible for IKEA to use this service. I would not have booked if I had been warned. It’s 1pm and I still haven’t had an ETA other than a 9 hour window. The driver won’t accept texts or talk on the phone. The company has no contact number! A joke.

Avoid
Booked and paid for a next day delivery in-store at IKEA on a Saturday. No delivery made on Sunday despite a booking confirmation. Left a message via the Shift platform which is faceless and provides no contact number.
The delivery was finally made around 5pm on Monday but there was no reply from Shift to numerous messages I had left them, including one where they state a response within 15 minutes.
The consolation was that the driver was great and understood and agreed with my frustrations - he also had some.
Shift is a faceless, customer last service. Avoid.
Rude, Humiliating and lazy drivers
The driver was very rude. He was talking to me like he is paying me for delivering this sofa to my apartment. I felt humiliated for nothing. I gave exact information about my apartment while booking the delivery but when driver arrived he started cursing me for providing the wrong information. He refused to move the sofa in apartment as it was impossible to do as per him. He said its a tough job and is not doable. Then he said i have not paid enough for this job, and i paid exactly what ikea asked me to pay. To avoid the argument i said you can please take this sofa back and i will talk to ikea tomorrow morning. Then he said is there anyone else in your apartment to help us moving the sofa and i said no its just me and i don’t mind helping you guys. There were two of them and were not able to shift a single ikea sofa bed which is divided into three parts. In the end when i went to help them they gave me the heaviest part to move and i did to avoid any kind of conflict. Both of them were lazy and rude and i am surely gonna talk to ikea tomorrow morning about this disgusting behaviour.

My coffee table was missing from the delivery on Saturday. It was delivered to someone else. This forced me to go back to IKEA. The staff said they would return it to me the next day. I didn't want to pursue it, but now it's past the deadline.
