Rude and imcompetent

I had to wait a few minutes but needed some info for my mothers who is ill and cannot do admin stuff. I have the formal power of attorney to govern for my mother, but AOK does not have it there....so instead of helping me out the lady continues to argue with me when I simply asked her to tell me how to change this. She had an attitude from the start and simply would not let me speak. I got an email address I can write to, but during my next question she hang up.

In theory

In theory, if you are affiliated to the public system, you should have access to doctors as soon as necessary. The reality is that few Dr from their 'Pool' take you as a patient. I have had to call so many doctors, doctors that AOK sent me the list, and they never took me as a patient. Now, the service is really castrophic, they don't take responsibility if you are in this bureaucratic limbo, and yet they like to charge between 100 and 350 euros a month. My experience with this company has been terrible, traumatic. The service was beyond inhumane. I beg you, read all the other comments, if you are a foreigner you are at risk in their hands, do not take this company. Go to TK, Alliaz, or a private one. AOK is a SCAM you hear me, SCAM !!!

The website and the Application on the…

The website and the Application on the Phone its just Stupid... You are going trogh some forms of securitty you just think you got hired by the FBI . its silly .. Dont let me start about the forms you have to complete if you need any changes... nothing can be done by Phone and to be onest I just I do not understand why they have done it so difficult for people.... It was way better before the update . This is not Regarding a speciffic area... its related to the website and application everywhere in Germany

Sneaky price raise scam

They sent me a message on 23.12.2023 that they are raising the rates from 1.9% to 2.7%. I was supposed to have a special right of termination, I cancelled, it still took 3 months until I am out.
They charged 20 Euros more per month from my wage during these 3 months even though I never consented to the price raise. If it was gonna take 3 months they should have sent that message 3 months before.
I hope they lose all their customers.

If I give 1star it will be too many. I have never seen like aok insurance. They are like culprit, they don’t care family need they don’t care about your children die or live . They know only money.I think every customer should think abut aok insurance company. Especially their customers dealing workers , my god they think their only vip in Germany.cruel inhumane behavior.aok destroyed my family and children

AOK DOES NOT DESERVE ANY STARS! A COMPLETELY WICKED INSURANCE COMPANY THAT WILL STORE UP DEBTS FOR YOU BECAUSE OF THEIR INTERNAL MISCOMMUNICATION! EVERYBODY HAS A DIFFERENT THING TO SAY TO YOU AND YOU HAVE TO REPEAT YOURSELF A MILLION TIMES!

A 0 AT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NEVER RESPOND TO EMAILS OR IN APP MESSAGES AND ARE ABSOLUTELY RUDE ON CALLS. AOK IS THE WORST DECISION I HAVE MAADE IN TERMS OF INSURANCE.

Great employees - Lukas Rixen is the best!

I had tons of questions regarding my insurance card with AOK and Lukas Rixen was able to answer all my questions and he really took his time to explain me every point in english. Thank you AOK for having such a great employees who really takes care of your customers! Well done!

This is the worst company in Germany

I took out insurance with AOC 10 months ago. I am STILL waiting for my card. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in Germany. I call twice every month and ask when my card will be ready. And EVERY TIME the consultants say that the card will come to me in 10 DAYS. Maybe the problem is that we live in different time dimensions. But when I talk to a consultant, I have a feeling that they don't even open the computer to look at the information on my account. They probably have a basket from which they take out random sentences in turn to answer your questions.

Useless horrible company

The worst of all companies. DO NOT GO THERE EVER. USELESS BEYOND IMAGINATION! Crap in Berlin, Spandau especially!
They are an unhelpful bunch of imbeciles.
Don't speak any English. Send back and forth.

This is the WORST insurance I've ever…

This is the worst insurance I've ever had to deal with. DO NOT GO WITH AOK. It is a huge headache to deal with them and in the end, they refuse to reimburse us for anything, even though we have proper paperwork and doctor's notes. They make up excuses as to why they can't give us the money back. The employee lost our receipts and they don't care about fixing it. It's been a year and we haven't gotten our money back for things that the insurance said they would cover - over 500€ worth. It's a waste of money and more so waste of time and so much stress to deal with this company.

This company has to be the biggest scam…

This company has to be the biggest scam in history. They treat you like trash because they know they can step all over you. Since they're not a company for people who can afford better insurance, they know you have no leg to stand on when they decide to leave you uninsured for five months (which is illegal in Germany, but not like they care).

Stay away. You're better off paying for everything yourself than ever trusting this sham of a company.

Disgusting, Horrible Service and Complete Bullies

AOK is the worst organization I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

They don't communicate. They cannot keep track of payments and will claim you haven't paid. They will demand extra money out of nowhere. They are horrible and I personally think they should be investigated and disbanded. Disgusting, vile people.

I was with AOK for 7 years on the standard public system up until then, no complaints.

Then one day I got a bill for 8000. I phoned and explained that there must be a mistake. I continued to get bills over the next year, which added up to 20,000 in total. They even sent a debt collector to my door.

I had to send my work slips to prove that I had paid. They still took forever to confirm. When I phoned their Geschaftstelle in Bonn, they were beyond unhelpful.
They didn't get a single cent of extra money from me, but it was a FIGHT. These people are not worth it.

I am changing health insurance. I'm just glad I'm generally a healthy person. I cannot imagine how much worse it would have been if I actually had health issues. AOK are unbelievably incompetent. I would advise anyone to AVOID this company at all costs. I am seriously considering suing them.

Horrible, horrible people.

I ordered a winter coat for £39.99 on…

I ordered a winter coat for £39.99 on October 30th, it arrived the other day and was extremely poor quality, not as described regarding the quality, definitely not waterproof, sizing all wrong but was sent the correct size 14 but more like an 10. It was a £10- £15 coat for £39.99. when asked for refund because wasn't satisfied with the quality they weren't interested, they said they had sent me the product and correct size, which they had!!!!! so was not entitled to refund. I will not be buying from this company again and do not recommend anyone else to, DS

This company is a blood sucker.

They do not have
1- English support
2- Kind employees who help people when clients need
3- They ask money which is already paid to them again again
4- They do not have any online support.
5- If you send an email no answer for ages
6- Their offices are closed most of the time
7- There is not any possibility get your card without sending post via mail
8- Even you send your photo with post they do not send your card back
9 you cannot get your insurance certificates online you always depend on them and at least you have tou wait 10 days. In any urgent situation basically you are death...
