And you - our discerning customer - pay for that cut. So we're making a stand: taking on the high street to offer you original furniture design at affordable prices. I really wish I could give zero stars…

I really wish I could give zero stars avoid it like the plague as another person mentioned literally a living nightmare dealing with them .
Don’t make the same mistake as I did, I spent a fortune on a sofa which collapsed after 2-3 years though came with a 10 year warranty and collapsed after 2-3 years. What a joke. 10-year warranty? Joke. The sofa collapsed after just a few years — no repair, no replacement, no support.”
2. “Next now owns the brand and refuses to honour old Made.com warranties. You’re on your own if it fails.”
3. “Expensive sofa, ruined in record time, and a useless warranty. Don’t waste your money like I did.” I’m left with a ruined sofa, no repair, no replacement, and zero accountability. This is a complete scam on long-term customers. Do NOT buy from this brand if you expect any support when your furniture fails.

Lesson learned the hard way !!!
Might I add their customer service is appalling even a bot can show more empathy than they can.

Still don't have my order

I ordered a side table and a lamp, both due to be delivered on a Monday. Neither did.

The side table arrived a few days late, but the lamp - a week past the delivery date - still hasn't arrived.

All I've had from Made/Next is a reply email from their AI assistant to say "We’re sorry to let you know that the item(s) below are still delayed." with no specifics or actual reason, and one from a real person to say "I have checked your order status and see below - these has been packed at our warehouse but not out for delivery yet." which was not very helpful.

Really disappointing, and at this point not entirely sure it's going to arrive.

I recenty orderd a lamp shade from the company, the shade was not delivered by Evri on the proposed date, i gave it five days before a raised the issue. Two days later the company contacted me and advised that someone had cancelled the order. Complete lies from the company. Currently i am sitting £ 50 poorer with no lamp shade. They advised to order another one, they must be having a laugh. Avoid at all cost.

A deeply upsetting bin

We bought the 2 Section 60 Litre Recycling and Waste Colter Bin in Terracotta - by far the most expensive AND most useless bin I've ever encountered. Despite the overall bin being fairly large, the 2 compartments individually are way too small for any household's average rubbish/recycling. We're a family of 5 and have to empty the bin twice a day. You can only fill each compartment 3/4 too, because the 'convenient' metal handle on each side is a nightmare when you're trying to tip out the recycling or take the bin bag out. There's no feature for holding a bin bag in place either, so it just falls into the bin like a sad, horrible ghost and rubbish gets everywhere. I can only assume this bin was designed for purely ornamental purposes or simply to make our lives worse by eldritch horrors from the pits of hell - its one redeeming feature is that it does look nice (but has 0 convenient features). I'd recommend this bin if you A) live on your own B) are a family of tiny elves with a really big kitchen or C) never create any rubbish of any kind and want a nice looking bin-shaped object to store things in or just exist emptily in your house. Maybe you own a bin museum or something, I don't know. Other than that, don't buy this bin - it's extremely upsetting to be around.

Faulty, poor quality wardrobe

We ordered a Oak Effect Zeke Triple Wardrobe, this item was supposed to take 45 minutes to build and it took over 3 hours (we aren't bad at DIY either and have lots of experience!) It didn't feel worth the expensive price tag, didn't have holes where screws were supposed to go and the doors do not align. They are sending a specialist to try and fix it (if this is successful I will happily remove the review but having seen other reviews I feel this is probably unlikely). They have offered a replacement but this item was 130kg and I live on thew 4th floor of a building without lifts so it was a struggle in the first place and this was not an option. They won't even let you directly review the products which is very shady. We have ordered from them previously and were so happy which is why this has been so frustrating. Don't recommend the product and don't recommend the company.

Incompetent customer service

We ordered a sofa and footstool from Made.com and waited over 5 weeks, only to be told our order was cancelled due to supplier issues. The only option was to re-order and wait another 8 weeks, with a token £50 compensation offer – completely unacceptable given the delay.

We decided to cancel and go elsewhere, but getting a refund turned into a nightmare. We had to call multiple times just to get the refund processed, and even then, they only refunded the sofa, not the footstool or delivery cost.

Even now, we still need to chase them up for money that’s still owed to us for the footstool and delivery charges.

Having just moved home, this was the last thing we needed – phone calls, poor communication, and no accountability. Made.com has caused nothing but stress and inconvenience.

Would not recommend.

Not what it used to be

Has really gone downhill. Ordered a wardrobe and the doors are flimsy, the finishing is absolutely awful, chips everywhere. It looks so cheap and definitely not worth the price point. Won't be shopping here again.

Will not shop here again

Will not shop here again.

Ordered a wardrobe and a tall dresser - which were not very cheap. Paid for a professional installer, who warned me about the company and let me know the tall dresser was not made correctly. She showed me the manufacturer punched holes that were the wrong size, meaning it would fall apart. She said she could attempt to fix with a wood glue, but was not confident it could hold and recommended returning. As it matched the wardrobe and I had already invested in the install and items, I went ahead with her solution, but contacted Made to let them know about the quality issue. They offered a 15% discount or they could take it back for a full refund. The issue with sending it back - I would have to get back into a flat pack... which at this point would be near impossible. Given the time and money invested, I went with 15% .. be reiterated I thought that was not enough given the thing was already very fragile. Sure enough, less than a month later, is in unusable. I fixed the drawer a few times, but it just does not stay together. As accepting the 15% discount came with a "you cannot come back to us after this for the same issue" - I knew they would not provide anything further, all I wanted was to simply have the ability to leave a review to hopefully save someone else from this mess. Their system listed my item as still in delivery, which meant, I couldn't review it. I reached out requesting this be fixed, and they said on their side it was showing as delivered, but they will file a ticket. Now, my account doesn't show the item in my orders AT ALL. Feels very fishy and not what I would expect from such a large and known company. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again.

Order Number not listed on order confirmation email.. and now also cannot reference it in my account as it is no longer showing.

All that said, the wardrobe actually works as intended. Still not great quality for the price, however, no issues and I would keep. I guess lesson is, if all goes well, then you'll be fine, but if you have an issue, do not expect it to be solved.

Bought a bin for £110

Bought a bin for £110. I found that paint was previously coming out and looked like someone painted on the top of it. The company replaced the bin.

A year later the padal broke.

Harlow bed

I'm renovating a house and have bought two of the Harlow beds - one in navy and one in green. Both are absolutely stunning and look so much more expensive than they were. I'm so happy with them, thanks Made!

Extremely Poor Delivery Experience and Customer Service

We ordered the Leonora Flip Bed from Made.com, and the entire experience has been an absolute nightmare.

On the first delivery attempt, one of the three required boxes was missing — or so we were told. Later that same evening, it turned out that the box had actually been on the lorry all along. Despite this, instead of simply correcting the mistake quickly, the company insisted on taking back all three boxes and rescheduling the entire delivery from scratch. The next available delivery slot? Two weeks later.

We suggested just placing a new order as this seemed like the „cleaner“ process, but the company insisted on a second delivery attempt.

Two weeks pass, and as we feared, the second delivery was also botched. Once again, only two out of three items were delivered. So here we are, still without a complete bed, currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and trying to get some kind of resolution with made.com — with little to no success. Once again, their proposed next step is to reschedule delivery for in two weeks time.

The customer service team has been completely unhelpful. They repeatedly refer back to rigid internal processes (such as insisting that they can’t book an earlier delivery slot) which clearly don’t work, and they refuse to escalate or offer any near-term solution, even in the face of repeated failures on their part.

Mistakes can happen — that’s understandable. But what’s not acceptable is the complete lack of urgency or care when trying to fix them. I strongly urge Made.com to seriously review and overhaul their delivery and issue-resolution processes. More importantly, they need to adopt a much more customer-centric approach when things go wrong.

Until then, I cannot recommend them and would advise anyone to think twice before ordering.

Disrespectful return policy

I ordered a few items from MADE including a bedside table, a dining table and some items for the bathroom. The delivery worked fine, but they do not respect their return policy. I have been trying to return an 1 item for the past 30 days and arranged a return pick up FOUR times via chat, by calling customer service and on the website. The courier has never showed up, customer service keeps offering to arrange a new date, but offer no explanation as to why it's taking so long. The courier can show up at your place anytime between 7 am and 7 pm, so I need to take days to work from home, wait all day and no update, no apology throughout the day. I think 1 or 2 is ok to miss it, but 4 times over so many days it's unacceptable.
