Excellent Service, Great Value, and Fast Turnaround
Just like the majority of people here, my experience with Lensology has been very positive indeed. The website is easy to use and flows well for a new customer. I chose my options, paid for the order, and posted my glasses in the case with some tissues packed inside so they wouldn’t move around. I was kept updated throughout the entire process—receiving emails when they received my glasses, when the lenses were being made, and when they were posted back to me.
The pricing is very good. I opted for the ULTIMA package and the lenses seem to be of very good quality. They offer good clarity and don’t smudge or steam up easily, although they are not quite as good as the Kodak lenses I have on another pair. That said, they are well worth the price.
The turnaround time is even better. I expected to be without my glasses for a good two weeks (similar to an optician’s timeline), but I received them back within a week, which is astonishing.
A few improvements could be made. Notably, a “My Account” section on the homepage would be useful, as well as the ability to save your prescription to your account rather than sending or uploading it after placing an order. It would also be helpful to receive some form of confirmation once a prescription has been submitted.
Please keep doing what you’re doing—it’s definitely working well. Pricing is also important, and it’s currently in a sweet spot where reglazing with Lensology represents good value. There are alternatives where you could get a new pair for not much more, but I would choose Lensology as long as they remain competitive. I’ll definitely be back as a customer, and Lensology will be my first choice if I need glasses reglazed again.
