Dan was very patient and reassuring. Communication was timely and clear. He has put me in contact with a solicitor who will take it from here. Thank you, guys! I find dealing with law enforcement extremely stressful and you have made things a lot easier.

Expensive product tasting distinctly like salt

A rather expensive product marketed as tasteless and odourless. This is a misrepresentation. The product tastes like salt and adds salt flavor to anything you use it with. I am not going to be able to use it and I am quite disappointed to have wasted just under £30

Unprofessional

Increased the price of subscription £35 without warning. My order was placed on hold without any explanation given. The subsciption price was showing as £140 but agents were saying I had to pay £175 if I wanted the medication. Tried to contact customer service twice and nobody was willing to honour the price showing on my account / subscription. I requested for a manager to call but that did not happen either. The price increase was substantial and not warranted.

The way they dealt with price change of time-sensitive medication was very unprofessional.

Unfortunately, we did need to update the price of your specific treatment due to high demand and reduced stock availability in the market. I understand this was frustrating, especially without advance notice, and I apologise for that.

Regarding your order being on hold, I've checked our records and unfortunately can't see any evidence of this. In fact, I can see that your order was placed at 12pm and was dispensed and packed just an hour later, indicating it was processed promptly.

I understand your concerns about the communication around this price change, particularly for time-sensitive medication. We're always working to improve our communication processes and customer service.

Sneaky change

I used to be a fan of this company until my last order. The brownies they used to sell were 6 in a box, vegan and gluten-free, generously portioned (maybe 8x8cm?), and scrumptious! When I first tried them, I could not believe they were vegan! I waited months to place another order while they took a break, and once I finally managed to purchase a box, I had very high expectations. Unfortunately, the company seems to have completely changed their 'spiel' and sneakily so, without announcing that their produce is no longer vegan or gluten-free. They now charge £35 for 24 brownies. What they do not explain is that each piece is now about 3x 3 cm and that the recipes are different. Out of 24 pieces, I could only taste chocolate in 8 (2 flavours- cookie and cherry) all the other flavours are extremely artificial and overpowered by refined sugar. I could only taste the sugar. Not even my toddler liked any flavour, 16/24 pieces went straight in the bin. Last time I buy from them for sure.

Very aggressive marketing

Very aggressive marketing. These guys seem quite desperate to get customers. 3 people knocked in 2 days, just again and again, trying to convince me that their fee is cheaper. This company does not understand that by sending people door knocking as if it were the 90s they are further damaging their reputation. This is not in line with the times. If a customer wants to change provider nowadays, we go on comparison websites to find the cheapest option. NOBODY likes to receive unsolicited knocking at the door. We are bombarded with marketing, can we have some peace at least in the privacy of our homes?
Give up, Scottish Power! Leave us alone! And find marketing strategies that are in line with the times, yours are obsolete

Review of Keyfob Repair

Dishonest

This company is very dishonest. Sent my keyfob back the same day they received it. When I received it it wasn’t working. I called them and they said that they tried it and it was 100% working.
It took me 10 days and more money to figure out that they changed the case but didn’t even bother changing the battery! A different repair guy measured the frequency in my presence, it was flat. He opened the fob and found an old battery. Changed it and the fob is now working.
I requested a refund not heard back.
Will give it a few more days then report them to trading standards. Awful!

Awful

I have been trying to return an order since Sunday 12th of May. Your return policy states that I can only return within 14 days of receiving the order and they are clearly trying to push this beyond the deadline.

Around 6 emails have now been exchanged where I clearly request for a collection to be arranged ASAP. 8 Days later, I am still receiving emails asking me to choose a date, the last email takes us back to square 1, asking the details of the order.

This is a bulky item that is a hazard in the hallway and I have nowhere else to put it. It has been there for 8 days.

Should this not be resolved promptly, I will have to report this company to the Ombusdman and Trading Standards.

Difficult to return, will never use again

Misleading listing showing a full garden set and then only one table delivered. I have been trying to return for almost a week and still no luck. There is no straightforward return process and already 5 emails have been sent back and forth with no resolution. The table is big and blocking my hallway, customer service slow and useless. Would never use this company again.

Unwelcome changes

Have been a customer for about 6 months. My cat loves the food but the quality/cost factor has recently changed. The cost is still quite steep but the pouches have changed- the quantity is less, the meat is now tougher and there is liquid inside, and my cat seems to get hungry sooner. Considering stopping the subscription at present

Appalling customer experience

The customer experience with this bank has gone from 100 to 0 in a couple of years. I have been with them for 15 years and the decline is astounding. Incompetence rige, especially on the phone, where assistants keep you in the line for hours to only say at the end that they cannot help. Very sad and obviously looking for a new bank

I would give 0 if I could. I signed up for a trial and then changed my mind. Since then I have been bombarded with emails and they have ignored all my emails requesting to unsubscribe me from their list. Definitely in breach of GDPR. Now they have started to text on my private number as well. Reporting them for abusing my data.

Not able to reach customer service

I purchased a ceramic diffused called Oska a couple of years ago and for about a year everything was ok. About one year ago however the cable s plug broke in the socket and I haven t been able to use the device since because I can t find a replacement cable for it. Still trying and got the wrong cable again today. For for a £70 device that really sucks. Moreover, there is no way to contact customer service. Their website doesn t provide a phone nr or email address, the contact form doesn t work. Really disappointed.

This company is awful

This company is really gone downhill. I have had an account with them for maybe 10 years, but this last year they have stolen quite a bit of money off me using some very rigid refund policies. I made a purchase accidentally as the phone brushed on my duvet while I was browsing. A family ticket for an event on a date we'll be still self-isolating as my partner has tested positive. I contacted customer service within 2 minutes of purchase, explaining everything. Nothing can be done- they say. They've literally stolen £56! We had already booked this event and had to cancel as we can't attend due to having tested positive for covid. Ligtopia asked for proof and kindly issued a full refund- a very smooth transaction. Groupon wouldn’t refund. Clearly, they are just trying to keep the money, hiding behind some unreasonable policy. According to them, in fact, if you catch covid 'too bad', your problem, you lose the money. Awful policy, truly. Still waiting to speak to a manager.

Update* Somebody replied to this review asking me to contact them so they would be able to resolve my issue promptly. Another lie. The person is not replying to my emails and his colleague, customer service manager Mukandan refused to refund. No 'prompt resolution' after all. Not to be trusted.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before buying from this company. Totaly scam. It didn't work, I returned the item and 37 'workings days later I am still waiting for a refund. Plenty of emails with seemingly nice but useless customer service and still no money. Has anybody else reported this company to the police?
