The most ridiculous airline Wizz Air should advertise honestly: the ticket is cheap, but everything else costs money—including existing. Seat? Extra. Bag? Extra. Boarding? Extra. Blink too long at t... See more

It’s a 3rd flight from Luton in this year with wizz “joke” air never again delay about 3h the best service ever … don’t recommend !!!!!!!! Make sure you don’t waste your money and time
You’ll pay extra one way or another
By far the worst airline I’ve ever been with. They consistently find ways to up charge you and then the staff is rude about it. There’s no place to place complaints that get responded too. The night before I went I paid to have a cabin bag. Somehow it got turned into a check cabin bag (which since when does that even exist?) I paid $40 then round trip. They charged me an additional $73 at the gate. I know they have the ability to check it from there and all I got was attitude. Screw everyone at this horrible airline.
The biggest scam Airline
What a Sh*t airline and who the hell running this outfit?
This worse airline i have ever come across!
I wished I have never bought this from loveholidays! Only if I Wizz=Sh*t air before buying this holiday!
Singing is totally rubbish
Checking is the biggest scam
Buying language is bigger scam
Never again
Cheap flights??
Cheap flights? Probably not!!!Do not book this airline for your holiday. Absolutely scam of an airline. Fraud in plain sight. They scam you into thinking they are cheaper until it’s time to do online check in. They will then ask you to pay £22 plus to check in and pick a seat. If you refuse to do it then, you will end up paying £60 plus at the airport. I have never experienced such horrendous experience with any flight company. The ladies at the check in point at Luton airport don’t make it easier either. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. They act like they’re not being paid over a decade.
Affiliate credits feeling like a scam at this point
Back in October 2025 I earned Wizzair credits under their promo with Booking dot com (I'm not tagging them, it's not their fault) and I've yet to receive them. Wizzair's website says they should be in my account after 64 days but their customer service rep told me 1) it would be after 90 days (my stay was already 97 days ago at this point which they seemed to miss), 2) that I'd need to wait another 10 business days (that came and went), 3) that I'd now have to wait another 45 days. This means I might have my credits 163 days after I completed my stay and conveniently just after my other Wizzair credits expire, so I won't be able to use them together. Absolute joke.
I've dated the experience as today because it doesn't give an option here of "dragging on for five months and still not resolved".
Not worth the money
Seats so uncomfortable, RyanAir seats seems luxurious in comparison. The entire flight was agony. Im 5ft7 and had no leg room so feel bad for anyone taller. Staff dont care about customers just walk past no smile all staff were very rude. Pay the extra £10 and fly a different airline.
The worst company
The worst company , they overcharged me for my backpack even if was included in the initial price , theey robbed me for additional £68
Cancellation
Although I am aware of their regulations, but I find it more than problematic, that when you try to cancel a flight right after booking it, due to a mistake, you still lose 80% of the price of it. Especially that the flight is over 2 month from the booking day.
Scum!!!
Wizz Air’s “All You Can Fly” pass is very misleading. After purchasing it, I discovered that I’m unable to book many flights — even ones that appear half empty. There is no transparency about how many seats are allocated to pass holders or why certain flights are unavailable.
These major restrictions are not clearly explained when you buy the pass. “All You Can Fly” sounds flexible and accessible, but in reality availability seems extremely limited. I feel misled about what I actually paid for.
I would strongly advise others to fully understand the hidden limitations before purchasing.
Look elsewhere if you can for your tickets
Look, its not a company for the customer, definitely not. I cannot understand how airline companys can be this bad and still be able to offer a service when all other businesses would get zero customers with these reviews.
In my case, it is very frustrating to not be able to cancel a reservation that was done by accident for another month, an error caused by the wrong project of the calendar of their website, if the website is accessed on pc ( its much better onnthe app) i tried to cancel within 5min, i mean 5 minutes, but the website wouldnt allow me, the customer service was not available because it was past 6pm and now the rappresentative says me why did you not reach out within two hours…
Common…
Its the second time it happens to me, (yeah i can be more prudent but it also shows how bad the booking engine is on their website)
After long days, when concentration is low its super easy to make this mistakes on their website because durinf rhe search part, the calendar keeps changing the month, you should always propose the current month as a starting point, not the future ones, because i did a seaech for febbraury and when i start another, you cannot take me in the march calendar. Unless its done on purpose…
Just put a grace period of 30min for god sake, you can only benefit this way by building trust. Even 15 min would work on most error caused situations. I mean, i needed a ticket for Martedi 17 Febb, and website was reading Mar (as per march) 17 but it also writes Mar for (Martedi) so it was an unfortunate mistake that cost me well beyond 300€
Plus all this situation of proposing ALL to me that book from Italy is out of ordinary, let me se the price in euros for god sake.
Not a happy customer by any means. Its obviuos i will look at alternatives anytime i can for the future.
Very very dissapointing.
They did not pay for claim
I was volunteer to not to board on plain and receive 100 euros. So I suggest you never do this, as they not responsable of anything and they could not book me on the next fligh, customer service told me to book any flight and claim it. After couple months, they said the claim is resolved, but they never send me money and no longer respond to emails.
Exploitative Pricing and Zero Customer Service - Avoid at All Costs Wizz Air Standard Plus…
I've been a Wizz Air Standard Plus member and have flown with them multiple times, but after this experience, I will never fly with them again.
I forgot to add checked baggage online (€26) and had to pay at the airport - €80 for the exact same service. That's a 200% markup for a 5-minute timing difference. When I raised this as a loyal customer hoping for some goodwill, I was met with three dismissive template responses that completely ignored my actual complaint.
Despite explicitly requesting supervisor escalation, I received no meaningful engagement whatsoever. Their "customer service" is clearly designed to frustrate you into giving up rather than actually help.
The real issues:
Predatory pricing structure designed to exploit customers
Template responses that don't address your actual concern
No escalation path despite repeated requests
Zero consideration for loyalty program members
I've now filed a formal complaint with the Civil Aviation Authority, disputed the charge with my credit card provider, and canceled my membership.
There are plenty of budget airlines that treat their customers with basic respect. Wizz Air is not one of them. Save yourself the headache and book with literally anyone else.
Over 3 months waiting for a refund
Wizz Air canceled my flight 1 day prior, offered a ridiculous alternative, and now refuses to refund! It's been over 3 months of holding my money hostage from the booking agency.
Expired sandwiches
,On the flight LTN-CJ, W4 3302, 05/Feb/2026, was served expired food.By the moment I noticed that my sandwich was expired a few other passengers, that ordered before me, ate their food already.I announced the stewardess about the issue and my sandwich was removed away from me.I asked 3 times if I can have back the sandwich to take a photo of its label and the cabin crew members answered by saying : “Please calm down!”, which made me felt very uncomfortable. When the passenger from seat 4C said: “maybe that’s why the food was so salty, because it was expired...”, the same crew member said: “maybe now you will have some imaginary disease!”, a very rude comment from a staff member.
No mail to warn me to do the…
No mail to warn me to do the registering. When I finally find it it is closed. I had to pay an extra 60 euros plus the plane was delayed of one hour and normally I should have been able to register
They will do anything they can just to…
They will do anything they can just to not give you your money back.
Scammed me for 500€+
Scammed me for shuttle service- over 30€ and didn’t send it over! Had to pay 260€ for Uber to the airport which I ordered too late as I was expecting to use the shuttle I paid for and missed the flight- additional charges for hotel and the new flight- because of their unreliable service and looking forward to suing them!
If I could I wouldn't give even 1 star…
If I could I wouldn't give even 1 star as they simply steal your money. I was trying to buy tickets and everything went smoothly and then their website showed message that my payment didn't go through, so I called the bank to see if that might be some error on their end and to ask if in fact that payment didn't go through which bank has confirmed it that my account didn't even show that Wizzair even tried to charge the money for the tickets. I had to start the whole process of booking tickets again and to my surprise the return ticket price was higher and the luggage price was also more expensive, so overall I had to pay around £15 more which is not that much but that wasn't the first time as it has happened many times before. One can wander how many people had to go through the same process, so they can charge more money. It seems that their website as well as mobile App have some kind of switch build in that can stop your payment in order to extort more money of you. Sad world we are living in where companies have to fall so low to make their money by tricking people with the promise of a good price just to lure them in and rob them out of their money.
