Warning re Ryder Cup clothing if UK based

Adare Manor Ryder Cup Clothing.

Beware when purchasing from this entity if you live in UK. Import tax of about 35% added on to purchase price, making prices ABSURD.

NOT made clear when purchasing. When I tried to cancel order didn’t even have the courtesy of a response. Dreadful service.

Diminishing quantities over the years

I’ve used Cook for many years but have noticed over the years a rather declining quality creeping in.
I buy a lot of Chicken, Ham and Leek pies and I’ve noticed the quantity of ham declining. Today my pie was a total joke. Three small pieces of Chicken and two minute pieces of Ham !
I know that the large supermarkets are generally reducing the size of many products whilst maintaining the price but my pie today stretched this policy to the extent of being ridiculous .
I shall look elsewhere for future ready meals.

Great service and quality

Purchased for the first time online. Couldn’t be happier with my purchases. Good quality at good value prices. Even the one item which was returned (wrong size chosen by me ) was refunded within 48 hours. Excellent service. Have no hesitation in recommending this Company.

If there was a zero rating it would be minus 100

If there was a zero rating it would deserve minus 100% rating. Certainly the worst delivery service I have ever had the unfortunate experience of using. Absolutely no way to contact them by phone, only a “chat service” which is worse than useless. I’m surprised major firms like Apple still use them.
On Friday 19th I was due to have a new Iphone delivered. It was due to be delivered between 13.45 and 14.45. I paid a housekeeper to wait in. By 18.00 it had not arrived so she left. An attempted delivery was made at 18.25 approx and despite asking the driver ( through our doorbell system) to deliver to next door, he could not as it needed a signature ! He assured me it would be delivered next day, Saturday. Apparently this was too much for DHL.
On Monday it was due to be delivered and I tracked it online. I was 73rd in line at 10.10am. At about 12.30pm the driver was on his way to delivery 72. At 15.30, driver was still on his way to delivery 72 ! At 15.30 my delivery was next. At 16.44 my delivery was “apparently delivered” at this time, but I was in a room directly looking at the entrance to my property and despite there being no doorbell ring, nor did any CCTV evidence show that anyone entered my property at 16.44 DHL apparently think there was an attempt to deliver, I have irrefutable evidence that there was NO attempted delivery.
My guess is that the driver was behind schedule and simply reported an attempt or was at the wrong address .
Also they never respond to reviews, cleary an admission that they agree with their poor standards.
Personally i would NEVER use them. Clearly 90% of reviewers agree.

PS. Some hours later after this review, a photo was sent confirming delivery. It was of a house about 350 yards away from my house, but not a single apology !!
Believe it or not, delivery was next day and after waiting up until midnight I gave up. Strangely on the following day it was still showing “to be delivered Tuesday at midday” despite this being Wednesday!!! Quite extraordinary.

Wrongly based concept

Their credit score is fundamentally based on a totally incorrect concept.
The more one uses a credit card, regardless of it being paid off in full each month, the lower your score.
Any sensible person with any financial knowledge knows it’s best to do so, whilst earning interest on your cash in the meanwhile ….particularly if it’s a CASHBACK card !
I don’t know why so many of the banks rely on this incorrectly based concept

Dreadful service

Just wait until the service goes down….FOR 24 hours.
I can’t watch TV, can't operate any Apps etc.
No way of contacting them….message says NO need to call”. Frankly APPALLING.
Interesting to note that every response from CB is simply a “press button” job, the same response for every review…nothing personal relating to the actual review, or the PRECISE problem !
Time to change to a more professional outfit.

RED WARNING….NEVER rent from this…

RED WARNING….NEVER rent from this Company. It’s no wonder that 55% of reviews are ONE star…probably Zero if it was possible. I fell for their usual trick of being charged for “extra charges”…in my case “no car documents “ (that is the car instruction manual…who on earth would actually want to steal such a document) which was apparently meant to be in the pocket in front of the passenger seat. It was missing on return of the car, but in fact it was never there as when we left the car park, I happened to look in this pocket to see if it would take my IPad, but all it contained was the Cigar lighter piece. It was interesting to note that upon the return, after looking around the outside of the car the FIRST thing the staff member looked for was the “document compartment”, not the mileage/petrol gauge, not the boot for spare wheel/luminous jacket etc….a well rehearsed procedure. We had to pay Euros 150, even though one can be bought online for Euros 25 or downloaded for free.
On top we had to pay a deposit of Euros 40 for parking and motorway charges, neither of which we used but the deposit has not been returned. From other reviews I guess that will be a challenge!
In my view they are complete CON MERCHANTS and I advise EVERYONE to avoid them at all costs.

Even worse service from EDF

Even worse service from EDF. Following my review four days ago describing EDF as a DISGRACEFUL COMPANY I had two responses.
The first from Marcus by email on Friday 28th, asking if I was available to take a call that day to discuss my complaint and compensation ! I replied that I was but no call came. I emailed the following Monday to ask if he was going to call but no response.
The second was from Kirsty online within Trustpilot responses to say “our management team will be reaching out to me “….needless to say no one did.

This whole situation rather confirms my original comment that EDF, probably stemming from Simone Rossi, the chief executive, has a totally abhorrent attitude towards its customers and frankly regards them as irrelevant. Small claims court action to follow !

Dreadful service.

Dreadful service.

Several times my wine delivery has been short of what I ordered and despite requesting NO substitutes, I get delivered alternatives.
When questioning the particular store…1) I more often than not get a person who can’t speak proper English nor whom I can really understand, 2) They can't deal with the incorrect pricing and 3) When they call to collect the incorrect bottles, the driver can’t give a receipt for what he/she has collected !

Avoid at all costs and shop elsewhere.

An absolutely disgraceful company to deal with

An absolutely disgraceful company to deal with.
The “CEO” Simone Rossi simply refuses to deal with matters and this attitude is clearly epitomised by the staff.
Despite numerous emails to EDF, they simply refuse to deal with matters and even recently sent a response to say my complaint had been resolved ! As a result of EDF’s total incompetence, I’ve had to spend hours dealing with debt collectors who are trying to recover costs for a property I don’t even own.
I have decided to make a claim against EDF for my time costs, via the small claims court, which bearing in mind their attitude to date, they won’t even respond to.
Certainly, they are equal to OVO, in terms of complete abhorrence towards customer complaints.
Personally I’d advise anyone against using EDF

A complete rip off.

They maintain that booking tickets from them is the cheapest method…NOT SO. Trainline is much cheaper.

My ticket from Herne Hill to Lewes at least 20% cheaper on Trainline….complete rip off by Southern Rail. No wonder they have almost 90% bad reviews !

I’ll always use Trainline in future.

Recent offer for gift vouchers at 20% off, so I ordered online a quantity only to find
A) no discount applied
B) they all came in £10 amounts, rather than one complete voucher.
Emails to Megans go unanswered which is of concern.
Would advise against buying anything from their so called “discount” offers.

Forget confirmed bookings…they mean nothing

I have a confirmed booking over Christmas at Cosy Resort, Haywards Heath through Booking.com, but Cosy Resort has unilaterally cancelled this booking due to the “Room being unavailable till next year”.
However it is still possible to book and get confirmation on the Booking.com website for this property !

Something very suspicious about Cosy Resort, who are not being very cooperative as to why they have cancelled.

Appalling treatment from both entities and I advise people to avoid any bookings with Cosy Resort, Haywards Heath, UK.

Would happily recommend

Interesting to see other reviews. Our installation was for a new build house.
Initially, at the design stage, we were very impressed by everything produced. However, at the point of installation there was a significant problem with fitting our existing washing machine and tumble dryer which resulted in a change of plan incurring considerable extra cost. After much discussion and exchange of emails a satisfactory resolution was achieved.
Overall, the quality of the kitchen is first class, the installation was generally seamless and I would have no hesitation in recommending Roundhouse as an excellent company to deal with.

Don’t consider using Cadogan Tate

Don’t consider using Cadogan Tate for removals.

They preport to do everything properly and they take 100% of the costs upfront, so I comment further !

In reality they do not do the things that they had agreed to do….as an example unpacking valuables etc. Nor do they actually fulfil their obligations. Our move was over three days and on the last day everything was rushed as the next day was Good Friday. As a result lots of items were not removed, nor were boxes unpacked as previously agreed. Any damage that occurred was only subsequently discovered and they totally avoid any explanation. Items that should be been delivered upright were actually delivered on their side and damage and leakages occurred. Some items were broken/missing and damage occurred to picture frames, furniture and computer equipment . I’ve emailed on several occasions and all I get is a response that “we will be in touch” but after seven weeks this is frankly a joke. I will have to revert to legal action.

Avoid them at all costs

Appalling service

Contrary to other reviews, my experience with Toolstation was frankly appalling. I ordered a Werner ladder for same-day collection at the local branch and the order was confirmed. I was to receive confirmation that collection was available, but I never received such confirmation. I called two hours after the order and was informed that there been a mixup but I would hear within the next 10 to 15 minutes..Two hours later I called again to be informed they would contact the local branch to sort this out . However, they were unable to get through and suggested it might be closed for some form of emergency. As I live within a reasonable drive away I called into the branch which was open and they said had not had any details of my order.! They said they would investigate, but it would take 36 to 48 hours..
I rang Toolstation central office and asked whether it could be delivered. I was told that could be done and it would be delivered between 8 am and 12 pm by Parcelforce next day, not Evri which would take longer... in fact, it was delivered by Evri, firstly on a one hour slot but even this was delayed. For a ladder I ordered to use that day to find I can’t use it for two days ( both being holiday days ) meant delaying the work I had planned until my next two days off.

I think I incurred an LTN fine as well as I was not familiar with the roads !

Chinese State controlled ?

Arrogance in the extreme doesn’t begin to describe the attitude this company has. Unsurprising as I believe it’s ultimately controlled by the CHINESE STATE ! They’ve done nothing to convince me otherwise
Avoid at all costs. They are capable of listening/viewing everything within one’s home.

Couldn’t care less

Absolutely no response from Hikvision. One month on, they couldn’t give a damn. Once they’ve sold their product there is ZERO help from them…..possibly because their “monitoring from CHINA” may have been affected ???. I rest my case, but repeat my warning. NEVER install a Hikvision system if you expect any post installation service.
It’s rather interesting that if one lets them know about your review they NEVER respond nor contact you…simply another aspect of their “couldn’t care less” attitude. I suspect it’s a “We’re too massive an organisation to be bothered with our customers” approach !!
Personally, if I could give a MINUS star rating it would be Minus 10 stars ! I’ll continue to put adverse reviews until they contact me…..but I’m not holding my breath !
