The blog of a weirdo author and perpetual pissant. He/They, 294 years old, ambiguously gay villain. Call me Kai. I dual wield sci fi and fantasy, but sci fi is my offhand weapon, with my charisma modifier stacked on top.

I haven't see Fullmetal Alchemist, all I know is that the series' name drop is fucking badass.

You know.

"Sacrifices are necessary; you can't gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made fullmetal."

I don't even have the full context for it, I just know, that's a super cool name drop.

Also, again, I have not watched or read Fullmetal Alchemist, but it pairs really well with a quote from the Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho:

"Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity."

you guys ever think about an assassin who's really bad at his fucking job, and he has like, literally one job.

Kill this specific person.

But he just can't fucking do it, because he's a little cringefail nerd idiot, some kind of lethal buffoon, and all he does is accidentally collateral everyone around her like some kind of murder clown?

I think about him.

I think about him a lot. I'd pray for him, but I'm the one who's fucking him over all the time, so. It'd be counterproductive.

You can't be an assassin and straight.

It's too homoerotic.

What do you mean, you're a man hunting other men?

Women, stalking after women?

You're hiding your identity and skulk about the darkness and you have a terrible relationship with your parents?

You're fighting other assassins who are holding their knives to your pretty throat and hurling chairs at your head and stabbing you in the thighs? You're bleeding and dying in each other's arms? Your dying breaths are commingling and your life force is dwindling, and all you can do is clutch each other tightly as you spiral into oblivion, but at least you're not alone, in the end?

That's literally the queer experience.

More queer assassins. Diversity win, that man who tried to kill you is pansexual.

but if you disagree with me that's ok bc it's ok to be wrong.

You can't be an assassin and straight.

It's too homoerotic of a profession.

All hail homoerotic fights to the death.

I love you doomed gay romances. I love you angry bisexual yearning. I love you queer enemies to lovers. I love you disgusting filthy twisted toxic love that no one can let go of, because as sick as it is, it's still real, it's still raw, it's still something that makes you feel human. I adore you sad broken LGBT characters, who are foul mouthed and ill tempered and quick witted and so incredibly stupid.

I love you, morally gray and sometimes outright evil fairies.

I love you, rotten fruit behavior.
