I can't stop thinking about how Mac said every time he's about to do something stupid he imagines himself die and his only regret is that he's alone, but in 4x12 he pretty much is sure he is going to die when the missile hits but he's not alone and he takes Riley's hand :')

She had said he's not alone and she really meant it, she's the only one who stood by him no matter what, and as a result when he actually was about to die, compared to what he imagines, he wasn't alone. Riley was there. They are a package deal :')
