hellsent & heavenbound
can we talk about how Charles literally did the exact same thing for Edwin that Edwin did for Charles in the attic? like yes, i know i talk myself to death on here but Charles LITERALLY looked at the most tragic moment of Edwin’s long existence, the thing that was so unavoidable and permanent that it shapes all of his actions through the entire show, and went “yeah, that’s not happening.” one of the most painful possible plot points. a character going to hell. something so beyond human control. AND CHARLES GOES TO LITERAL FUCKING HELL WITH NOTHING BUT A MAGIC BACKPACK AND HALF A PLAN. BECAUSE HIS BEST FRIEND NEEDED HIM TO FIX HIS STORY. IS ANYONE LISTENING TO ME CHARLES SAVED EDWIN FROM HIS OWN DEATH A HUNDRED YEARS ON BECAUSE HE LOVED HIM.
AU where charles and edwin are a pair of bonded stray cats crystal adopts and/or just finds on the street in a box. charles is sweet and cuddly and adorable and edwin absolutely hates her guts, but crystal can't get rid of him because if she separates them for more than two seconds charles will start yowling. and edwin starts to kind of warm up to her after long enough anyway
bonus points: crystal thinks edwin just hates Everyone until her friend niko comes to see the cats and he's all friendly and talkative with her. but that doesn't count, everyone loves niko

Hey Netflix,
This year we've seen a major fantasy movie featuring badass women, demons, and an emphasis on found family (K-Pop Demon Hunters) plus a tv show about hockey featuring gay/bi main characters falling in love (Heated Rivalry) absolutely taking the world by storm. Would you consider rethinking that cancelation on Dead Boy Detectives? It's still getting media attention and I feel like it didn’t truly get it's moment. Maybe that moment is now.
Or someone else pick this up, please. Crave? You guys don't seem shy about pushing the envelope. Adopt some lgtbq shows!
little payneland edit I made hehe. song is jump rope gazers by the beths
