I like to think that the logical conclusion of both Dick and Bruce's outlook on aging and retirement as superheroes generally being "I won't think about it and it'll probably mortally sort itself out before I'm forced to" is that they'll both end up going senile together in the vigilante retirement home where the staff keep having to retrieve them after they break out to go and be old man Batman and Robin

Basically this is them

i SWEAR there’s a comic panel where Dick is sitting down and Bruce’s head is on his lap BUT I CANT FIND IT I KNOW I DIDNT MAKE IT UPPPP

BINGO

Grayson #12.

for anyone wondering why this is important to me it’s because i’m ’batman is the little brother’ brained

big fan of the type of superbat where it's bruce and clark coparenting dick as friends at first, but they end up accidentally falling in love.

like ik this is more of a thing in older world's finest comics and not as common nowadays, i adore the thought of tiny, spitfire, wisecracking robin roughhousing with superman, and superman's doing that thing lions do, where the dads pretend to be wounded when they play fight to encourage their cubs

batman's watching this nearly godlike alien (who could easily level a continent if he wanted) to play fighting and letting dick beat him, getting smiles and laughs out of a child who's had so much trouble connecting with people after his parents' deaths, and batman's secretly soft heart skips a beat

The Bat family stuff I was talking about :D. Really wanted to do one of these 'Robins and their birds' thing for quite a while now, but never got around to it!

By the way: If one catches your eye, you can grab a print on my INPRNT! It's $5 less than a bust-commission, plus there's an extra 20% off for the spring sale I'm currently running! You can find the code here! :3
