Poor communication and £90 gone..

Purchased a gift card via Clearpay for £90. Went to use giftcard instore and it stated inactive. Contacted Prezzee who said it would be Asda's issue. They even sent me a screen shot of activity on the card... which clearly states the Merchant who activated the card (Prezzee) also took the money and deactivated the card a few hours later. I keep getting told a response within 1 to 3 business days.. and when I do its exactly the same as before. No-one is listening/reading my emails correctly. It is very clearly a system error or human error but either way.. I am now £90 down and not getting any decent answer. Even checking the balance on the gift card states - card not found. Will be forwarding my complaint to Ombudsman.

I was given an E-gift card for…

I was given an E-gift card for answering a survey to spend in Tesco but had a problem with the card - I contacted Prezzee and spoke with Clairevyl who was very helpful and courteous and she sorted it all out for me and I was able to use my Tesco gift card without any trouble. Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company. I regularly spend a lot of money with them and their customer service is non existent. I purchased a travel card which said it can be used online with Hoseasons. Turns out you have to use through a 3rd party company which has no Hoseasons properties available. There was no information regarding this in the t&c on the app when I purchased explaining this. I asked to cancel or even swap for a different gift card to which I received an automated response. Promised contact from a manager but never recieved. Won’t be dealing with them ever again.

I've bought many gift cards from them and used them with ease. Then my child bought one without my permission, and the customer service advisor was polite, professional and fast acting in canceling the card for me. I judge good customer service by the way a company handles it's positives and negatives, and this was expert level customer service. Gift card balance was used fraudulently by someone else and they did nothing except deny any responsibility and in fact say it has to be MY email that was compromised! Nobody could have got any details of my Prezzee account or gift card from email and also all my details are always security tight! My gift card details are only on Prezzee and for someone to of got in via my email would have had to of changed my password and I receive no emails from them and never click links in emails. The only email I received from Prezzee was when I receive the gift card. Basically someone went on a shopping spree with my balance and £50 gone just like that and nobody is responsible not even the company who’s security is not good enough to stop anyone getting in to take mine and many others details. JUST BE AWARE that if your balance is used without your knowledge or consent and the only way anyone could of got those details was from them, they will not pay you back and they will not accept any responsibility!

Generates giftcard that aren't valid

Used this giftcard company for a wile now ive stopped using them as they generated a gift card for me that was never valid its been 20 something days and still no fix ive lost count how many conversation ive had with this company and the company the gift card was for both sides say contact each other which ive done over 30 times and still nothing so ive paid for a gift card over 20 days ago that I cant actually use and that was never valid its have many tickets numbers #3237847 #3246952 #3246949 #3270717 all the same issue
