The worst company you will ever dealt with. Never ever book your train ticket from this company. And they are based in Hongkong. They will charge you double than the regular fare. We made a mistake on our travel dates and they don’t accommodate our request to change the date. They’re asking us to upgrade our seat which is double the price of our ticket. Never ever again will use this scam company.

This company is garbage. They promised to change the time of a trip, then failed to do so and blamed me. They asserted they had sent me emails and texts, which they did not… kept promising to reschedule so I could make other appointments…and then said there were no more tickets available for the later train. Funny… I just bought them from another service. AVOID RAIL NINJA NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

They have not refunded me for canceled trains!! It's over 4 months and they are unnecessary delaying and not giving refund.

I wish I had read all of the reviews before I booked tickets with this company. The cost was more than double what I should have paid. I assumed like other vendors that sell these types of tickets that they would have a fee. But, their fees are scandalously exorbitant. If you need to book train tickets in Portugal, stay far away from rail ninja. Just go to the regular CP website or app for Portugal bookings.

It is a total scam as the other reviewers mention - the 5 star reviews seem bland and suggest the complete opposite to their modus operandi. Just booked tickets in Morocco and needed to change the times. We then found out the admin fee is 150% of the ticket price. Further more, they state tickets are un-modifiable, but the "actual" ticket from train company states it is - feel very foolish :(

Rip off. No transparency and misleading. I selected 2 First class tickets at price offered and was billed $100 over that cost(which I assume was also inflated).
I asked for itemization and did not receive, but just told in email response that they have additional taxes and fees. It was like dealing with a ticket scalper. I felt I’d been had.

What a bunch of con artists. Charged two senior woman, myself and a travel mate, three times what the tickets were worth. We paid 48€ for two and the actual train fare was 7.50€. As seniors, we get a 50% discount off of the regular €15 pricing.

My attempts to contact them went unanswered.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE HUGE RIP OFFS!!

S C A M! RailNinja charges 200% surcharge for their ‘service’. You will pay 3 times the ticket value for booking with them and they will refer you to the Carrier if anything goes wrong - don’t waste your money!! RailNinja charged me €112 for a Lisbon-Porto return ticket which can be purchased from the carrier for €64! Nowhere is it indicated that they take a 100% surcharge.

For some reasons, Trust Pilot had removed my previous review about Ninja Rail. However, I feel obliged to write a new review to warn other users about Ninja Rail. Never and ever use Ninja Rail though their website looks legit. It's nothing but a scam where they charge more than doubled of the original price!

I booked my trip then the newborn baby health issue I want to cancel it but they don't give us any refund, its an scam company, be alert they are doing online marketing to sell there tickets so don't buy with 3rd party company, as I did and I lost my money €316

Unfortunately I have also fallen to the scam and only find this thread after I made the booking. I thought KTXtrains.com was legit, and didn't know clicking onto it they redirected me to railninja. I'm angry and pissed with myself and disappointed that despite my carefulness in everyday life, I'm still a victim of this.
After seeing so many cases online, I feel a need to share this more vocally.

I have made a tiktok video on this and I would appreciate if everyone of you could share and spread awareness. I don't know how to bring this syndicate down, but I want others to be careful of them too.

RAILNINJA makes the whole process via email looks GOD DAMN LEGIT which they email you a passcode and password for you to show to the ticket counter officer. But it is not VALID through all JAPAN JR Railways.

They are just a team of professional suckers who CHEAT on innocent people online.

It is rare that I get taken, but I have to admit Rail Ninja got me. I consider myself diligent and skeptical but these cowboys inserted themselves into my rail search, showed all the right info and details, and fooled me into booking via them. Only AFTER paying their quoted price did the real cost of my tickets appear. An almost 25% commission to them. Bar Stewards.

This is a scam. I googled 'norway trains website' and ended up on Norwaytrains.com but this is really railninja when the official site is VY.no. I looked at prices on VY for an Oslo to Bergen train for 2 adults and it was 1227 kr (114 euros). Railninja quoted $US436 (401 euros) for the same ticket or 3.5 times the official rate. How is this website allowed to operate.

Never buy any tickets from railninja! Scum and criminals!

They charge 2 to 3 times the actual ticket price. They have mysteriously placed themselves on valid railways’ websites like AlphaPendular so you are tricked into thinking you are buying directly from the rail company, but you aren’t. They give no refunds even if travel is cancelled. Hopefully they will end up in prison.

Absolute **ing leeches, parasites, cockroaches, scum of the earth, whatever name of choice you want to give them. I paid nearly double for my ticket versus what the railway operator would charge, because the ticket site would not work on my phone browser. When I saw there was a €5 service fee I accepted that as the cost of going through a third party, but the actual ticket shows that the true price of the ticket was far, far less than what was quoted on railninja, half as much in fact.

I am traveling in March 2023 from Edinburgh to Inverness Scotland. I paid for the tickets in Nov 2022 and did not receive an email with a link to a ticket. When I contacted their customer service ( which has no telephone number available, I was informed I had to wait further until the middle of January or change tickets or request a refund, both options costing me an additional 100.00! When I protested this, I received no further communication. I have had to resort to disputing this charge with my credit card company. This company is running a scam, and I highly advise anyone traveling in the UK to use a direct booking with the National Railway, and avoid Rail Ninja like the plague!

It’s not possible to give lower than 1 star, so I have to go with 1. I paid one hundred euros more Han the ticket was worth; 3 tickets total plus a 66 Euro service fee. Absolutely crooks. DON’T USE THEIR “service” they too will take your money. If you have time and nothing to do read their T&C’s. What a JOKE BUT DANGEROUS!!!
