Always good fun way to travel - evening meal excellent - wish the seating was designed to sit in though! Most uncomfortable seats on any railway!! Breakfast needs to be better - should be an option... See more

The staff in the club car were fantastic. First class service from them all and a special mention for Hannah.

Overall I had an enjoyable journey, bed and quality of amenities is very good. Also good food and drinks selection in the club car. However, I booked a room with a shower and this ran freezing cold on the two different times that I attempted to use it. I was therefore unable to use the shower, which is the reason I booked the more expensive room. The staff were helpful and offered for me to shower in a different room, but by this point I was already dressed and planning to disembark.

Don’t send me a text to attend your lounge when boarding at Preston where you don’t have one!
Pre advise Preston passenger to board via different cabin as theirs may be locked due to short platform
Scottish breakfast was poor! Very dry no beans or tomatoes which are normally a staple of a British/Scottish Breakfast!
Staff pleasant and helpful especially Train Host Bishnu who was happy to accept all this feedback
Had great expectations but sadly disappointed. Will never travel with you again. I expected better!

Regular traveller
This journey
Rooms was far too hot - I observed that cold air only takes effect when stationary and the rest of the journey is hot air makes the room far too hot
Toilet wasn’t clear during the journey
Smell in room of sewage / waste
Staff need to revised timelines for departure - that a soft departure starts from 6:45am - the current 7:30am gives false reality of military op to get me off from 6:50 including opening my door at 7:05 ! Happening every joint at now and I am not impressed . Just revise your communication on exit time to before 7:30

First time travellers on the Glasgow to London sleeper.
We booked the double bed room.on arrival we where shown to our room by the friendliest staff and invited up to the club room for drinks.
Honestly the staff on board couldn’t have done anything more for us. They chatted and told everything about our sleeper experience. The bed was very comfortable and once we settled in we both fell asleep until it was time to have breakfast. On departure the staff told us about the first class lounge next to the sleeper train. Lots of tea, coffee and irn bru. The showers where available to refresh after the journey south.
The big question is. Would we book again.
Yes 100% we would.
Very helpful and informative staff. Excellent facilities. I left a piece of jewellery in my room and it is waiting for me to collect. Responded very quickly to my query
Enjoyed this means of travel as we love trains. Journey Euston to Inverness was fine. Was travelling with my wife in separate club rooms. We were moved to cabins in a different carriage as there were water problems in our original rooms. No problem with that. Return journey we were in original rooms. Water problem had not been resolved! I was moved to a different carriage without my wife. We tried to eat our snacks in the lounge car but were told we had to return to our rooms if we weren't buying their food and drink. This after spending well over £600 to travel this way. Won't be doing it again!

As usual the staff on the platform and on board were helpful and friendly. I had to book late and was unable to get a single seat, but the train manager was really helpful and found me an unoccupied seat.
I believe this has been fed back and currently being delt with
The inbound journey arrived on time and the journey was smooth and pleasant.
Coming back, pleasant staff, also very smooth journey till Edinburgh. We were slightly delayed - arriving in Dundee but it had not major impact on my plans nevertheless I got a prompt email apologising for the delay
and offering a compensation.
Very uncomfortable and disturbed sleep caused by movement of carriage and associated noises.
Staff were OK but not the friendliest I have come across.
An expensive overnight stay that I regret booking.

Absolutely magical experience, amazing staff and such comfortable rooms and bed, the scenery is just out of this world! a lifetime experience we will definitely do again.
We travelled as a family for our youngest birthday and the staff out did themselves making it as memorable and magical as possible for us! really amazing staff and such a lovely train- no faults, everything was perfect
The food quality is poor and therefore not worth the cost at all. The quality of the bed and bedding was good. However the quality of the food in the lounge and the train was not congruous to such a pricey experience. Definitely will not be doing this again.
