Disappointing
Ordered a box of 48 costal design rolls, first order never made it due to Evri losing the parcel! I had switched from another bamboo toilet roll supplier with high hopes but disappointed when I opened the box to find the whole box was wrapped in one design rather than the four designs advertised - i put these in my holiday lets so thought having different designs would look aesthetically pleasing for my guests - think I will go back to my other supplier.

We’re really sorry for the delivery issues you experienced with your original parcel. At the time, we were temporarily using an alternative courier due to capacity issues with our usual delivery partner. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your patience.
Just to clarify on the designs: if you’re referring to the kelp/fish pattern, this wraps around roughly two-thirds of each roll’s wrapper. If you turn the roll, you should see the main design (Otter, Tuna, Puffin, etc.) displayed on the front. That said, if what you received doesn’t reflect this, or if the mix wasn’t as expected, we’d genuinely love the chance to look into it and make things right.

Thin paper, not soft
Good company, nice wrappers, they look nice in the bathroom but the quality of the toilet paper is not great. Very thin, not very soft. Have order a few times but will be looking to switch.

I love these. I find them good quality and I love the beautiful pattern on the wrapping. I can’t believe the reviews with lower stars which is not my experience at all. I’m on my third box now and just love it.

We've been using to unbleached and unwrapped bamboo roll for over a year now and I wouldn't swap to anything else. Its great quality and i don't feel any environmental guilt.

Lovely product, appalling delivery
Lovely toilet roll and the wrapping is beautiful (wildflower), however I would not have ordered if I knew the courier used was EVRI.
They delivered 3 1/2 hours late (at 23:35) and left my parcel out in the rain without knocking.
As good as the toilet roll is, there is no excuse for choosing to deliver with EVRI, there are a multitude of other couriers who are much better… who weren’t so notoriously bad they had to rebrand themselves…
It says on their website:
‘Standard delivery:
Orders are usually delivered within 1-3 working days, using Royal Mail, Yodel and DPD.’
I ordered last Thursday, and why was EVRI used when you advise Royal Mail, Yodel and DPD?
Thank you for getting back to me - I have amended my rating as I appreciate the courier is a separate company and I appreciate your kind and understanding response.
It would have been nice to know you had to temporarily use EVRI due to higher order volumes and issues with Yodel prior to ordering - I would have held off until I knew EVRI would not be used.

We're so sorry to hear your parcel arrived late and was left in the rain. That's certainly not the experience we want for you, and we completely understand your disappointment. If any of the product is damaged, please do reach out to our customer care team at wecare@bumboo.eco, and we'll make it right.
Due to the exceptionally high volume of parcels moving through courier networks during Black Friday week and the run-up to Christmas, Yodel has temporarily paused collections while they work through unprecedented parcel volumes. As soon as their service resumes in the next few weeks, we’ll be switching back to them.
In the meantime, we've needed to use alternative available courier's, such as Evri and DX. DPD is available as our express delivery option at checkout. Royal Mail continues to handle our trial packs, but unfortunately our bulk boxes are too large for Royal Mail’s service.
Once again, we apologise for this disappointing experience, and thank you for bearing with us during this busy period.

What fantastic customer service.
I had ordered the christmas loo rolls instead of my normal subscription. I then completely forget to postpone my normal order . I got an email from Bumboo this morning advising that I had two orders coming out a day apart. They not only did they put one order on hold but they made sure that the one they sent was the christmas one.
Not only do they offer a great product their customer service is amazing.

Best one we've tried
We've tried a number of these types of products (bamboo sustainable/eco-friendly loo roll) from various brands, and Bumboo are definitely our favourite. A 24-box lasts for months, and works out way cheaper than regular premium toilet roll brands. Plus, there's zero plastic in any of the packaging. Customer service is also excellent and swift to deal with any issues, which is why we've stuck with this brand over the others.

I've been using bumboo for a while and am happy with the product and love the latest Delft pattern. I realised that my latest delivery was set to go to my old address so contacted the company and Miranda sorted the issue out quickly and with good humour even though the package had already been despatched. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're very sorry to hear you were disappointed with the quality and value of our product.
When comparing our product on a price metre or 100 sheets basis, with comparable TP brands, we are very similarly priced, plus we provide free delivery to your door. Our rolls are extra-long, at 300 sheets / 30 metres per roll, compared to the supermarket average, 200 sheets / 24.8 metres.
That said, we understand that paper quality is a personal thing, and we very much appreciate you giving our product a try.

I won’t buy again
I’ve nearly used the 48 box of these now and have formed an opinion. In comparison to another bamboo toilet roll brand these rolls are much smaller, both in length and sheet size. The price is comparable so therefore these work out more expensive. They also do not flush very well.
The crunch though is the terrible perforations between the sheets. Always at least one ply is left behind, which is not a major issue but a continuing irritation. Like a relationship, that niggling annoyance that chips away at the love until you say - nah!

False description of items received today for hand painted wild flowers toilet rolls.
I received my order today for Wild flower pattern toilet rolls. Most disappointed when I opened the box.
The description on website was for hand painted Wild flowers, which I thought would brighten my bathroom.
Sadly it was only the wrapper which had the pattern, which obviously goes into the bin. Disappointed.

We don't print on the sheets, as keeping the product natural and skin-friendly is important to us. The product page does show this in the photos and mentions it in the description, but we completely understand how this could be missed and appreciate you pointing it out.
The wrappers help keep the rolls hygienically dust-free until the time of use, and the designs just add a nice little touch if on display.

Weird colour. Disconcerting when using the paper.
If you leave it in the loo over night ot forms a mass which blocks the loo. Thought it was me but son had same issue in his flat. You have to flush immediately. Unfortunately bought lots in June still using in October. Cost us lots in extra water.

Bamboo fibres break down quickly, but we would always advise flushing straight away.
The natural tone of the unwhitened product comes from the bamboo itself - it hasn’t been whitened or dyed. Some customers love the raw, natural look, while others prefer our white option, which offers the same sustainable quality with a more familiar appearance.

I really feel like I was ripped off…
I really feel like I was ripped off purchasing this toilet roll. The quality seems like it's two ply and no better than the low budget brands you find in the supermarket. Requested a refund immediately would never purchase again.
Save your money and stick with the other high quality brands!

Our 100% bamboo paper is 3-ply, and designed to be both soft and strong, while also being safe for all drainage systems. We intentionally chose this balance, as some thicker papers can lead to blockages.
That said, we completely appreciate that preferences around paper are personal, and we want to make things right. I was initially pleased with the price and prompt delivery, and the toilet roll seemed lovely and soft and good quality. But it just breaks up when I use it, really disappointed.

Where to start
Where to start! I thought I'd give Bumboo a try, they seemed to work out less expensive than my usual shop bought ones plus they're apparently environmentally friendly.
The sheets are smaller so you use more, They're much thinner so ( you've guessed it) you use more, they disintegrate which is not good( you know what I mean) so again, you have to use more. Since I've only been using them for a couple of days I can't comment on the flushability ( the jury's out on this one). On the plus side, they are individually wrapped in floral paper, which is totally unnecessary, but that's just my opinion. Needless to say I won't be purchasing them again.

To explain a little behind our design: we chose to make our sheets slightly smaller to allow users more control over how much paper they use, helping to reduce unnecessary waste. The roll is still extra-long with 300 sheets (30 metres) of 100% bamboo 3-ply paper per roll. The paper itself is designed to be strong during use, but to break down easily once flushed - a key feature to ensure it's both kind to your plumbing and better for the environment. If you experienced any disintegration during use, that definitely isn’t expected, and we’d really like to look into that further with you.
With regards to our wrappers - we do also offer unwrapped options for those wanting to further reduce their environmental impact. That said, our individually wrapped rolls use less paper in weight than wrapping multiple rolls in a thicker paper package, and the wrappers keep the product dust-free until the time of use.
We’re truly sorry to hear that you won’t be purchasing again. We value and appreciate your feedback, thank you.
Bottom line.....a great company
We've been using Bumboo for a few months now and have a regular order sorted. The deliveries are quick and easily adjustable if quatities or timings are a bit off. We're still fine tuning our precise requirements but the process seems easy enough to adjust. The quality of the product is exceptional, and one of the main reasons that our quantities have had to be re-thought is due to the fact that these rolls last much, much longer than the usual supermarket rolls we've been buying for years!
As long as Bumboo don't change or introduce huge price rises we can't see why we shouldn't stay with them for ever.
It's good to write a nice review for a change, for a company that produces quality goods and looks after its customers.
