| Throw snowballs at your friends and enemies. Distance and other properties improve as you make progress in the 2025 Holiday Challenge. Throwing a Snowball at an ally won't inflict damage and will reset its cooldown.

Snowball is a seasonal Item in Deadlock.
Snowball is unlocked for all players during the 2025 Winter holiday event. It is a free colorless item that does not take an item slot and uses a 5th active item slot.
Players can throw a Snowball that deals Spirit Damage. It levels up and increases in damage, velocity, radius, charges, projectile count and reduces cooldown as the player unlocks Christmas tree ornaments by winning matches with different heroes. Throwing a Snowball at an ally will reset its cooldown.
The Snowball level can be tested in the Hideout and Sandbox with the console command citadel_snowball_level_override + the level number.

Despite dealing Spirit damage and being affected by Spirit Resistance, the Snowball does not proc effects based on Spirit damage.
Snowball scaling[edit | edit source]
The snowball damage, velocity and radius increases every level at different increases per level. Cooldown decreases until level 5. Charges increase at levels 8, 16, 24 and 32. Projectiles increase at levels 16 and 32.
