While the product was ok, the service - and particularly getting out of your paid subscription was very difficult and it was impossible to get in touch with Explora (no phone nor able to login to their website that was down for a long period). I ended up getting registered in Inkasso for the final bill even as Explora had terminated my subscription 2 months earlier and thus had to pay for 2 extra months after ending the subscription.

After a few days, I noticed that my daughter could not receive calls from me. I created a ticket with their chat bot 1 week ago, still no answer. Yesterday I wanted to check if the sim was working in a normal telephone, and it did. But then a few minutes later they sent me an automatically generated SMS to inform me that my daughters sim was blocked. I am really disappointed, because I do need this watch to function, and I do need to be able to call my daughter .

I had a chance to speak to their customer service, and I was in touch with a very kind and professional person, who suggested some solution to my problem. I will go home and try what she told me to do, and I will update my review accordingly.

The business hours of the call center are too scarce in order to guarantee a proper customer support. But: the person I spoke to was competent and solved the problem brilliantly. The call was cut due to a technical problem, but she called me back and completed the task. So all in all a good experience. I would give 5 stars to the person I spoke with, but 3 stars is the maximum I can give: getting in touch with them is too difficult.

I was very happy with the XG03 watch and now with the X6Play for my 8 years old. The watch functions are just what i need: geo-localisation and tracking, and direct contact between parents and child (including school mode).
XG03 is not so robust for rough play time but the X6Play seems more durable.

The chat bot support is useless. There is no way to access your subscription details online. The watches break easily. The account page can only be accessed via an SMS message to the parent's phone, but the service doesn't work, and errors every time you try. There is no way to speak to a human. Really very shady, strongly avoid.

I have used Xplora for several years. It was fine, nothing fancy, but a good alternative to get in contact with your young kids without providing them with a telephone.
I was paying a yearly abonnement. What I did not know is that their yearly abonnement turns automatically into a monthly subscription.
In December I received an email with an invoice for 89,80DKK. As I was not aware of this change from yearly subscription to monthly subscription, I thought it was a scam. And the reason for me getting this email was that my Dankort had expired so they could not withdraw the monthly fee automatically.
I contacted them (it is not easy, only on the website or through chatbot) and got the background explained and agreed per writing that they would cancel my abonnement without the extra month which was a lie as they continue today to charge me this extra month).
We then agreed to cancel the subscription at the end of January. And I had then 2 invoices of 89,80DKK to pay (for December and January).
I paid the 2 invoices the 10th of February.
In the same time I have received a letter from a company Collectia.dk asking me to pay the same invoices.
The letter was sent the 27th of January while I was away from Denmark, and I could only see it the 8th of February when I came back. I can show them my plane tickets to prove that.
This letter is asking me to pay within 10 days the due invoices. Which I have done (10th of February and first banking day after the weekend).
Now this same company Collectia is sending me an sms yesterday 12 02 2025 at 6:15pm and asking me to pay 700,66DKK of restgæld !!!
I am going to the police today to put an official complain if they are not officially sending me a cancelation of this procedure.
In a nutshell:
1) Be very much aware of the T&C of your contracts.
2) Be very much aware that Xplora is working very closely with Collectia.dk and they are the one telling Collection how much the inkassogebyr and inkassoomkostninger should be. A way for them to make extra profit.
3) Contact your bank immediately and block the transaction to their account.
As a conclusion, stay very much away from that company.

Very hard to get in contact with. When they finally connect it takes more than a week for each reply in the conversation. It should be that difficult to cancel a subscription.

My daughter's watch stopped working after 1,5 years. Staff workers were fast with helping it. They sent a new recharger for free right away.

Unsubscribing to this is made almost impossible, which shows that this company's only interest is to bleed you for as long as they can, they offer no support, no value - stay away from them at all costs! They will continue to charge you and send extra penalties even if you don't use their sim anymore, to make money this way from what we had hoped was some safety for our children is disgusting.
