Ordered my Starlink paid my one time administration fee of $19.95 received the product. It was late shipping. Installed the product had paid all of the billing that was sent to me. The signal would connect and then it would disconnect it would not stay connected unless you reset the router. Call customer support was hung up on because I was trying to get an explanation why they needed an additional $400 from me to turn my Wi-Fi on even though I’ve paid my monthly subscription and my one time startup fee. Called back then I was called called an idiot by the support team. His name was Patrick. I requested to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me. I called back. They hung up on me again now I am trying to cancel and I’m getting pushed back on that because they only want to refund me $27 even though I paid $147 plus the $19.95 plus the $65 for the pipe bracket the math doesn’t add up now. I am left with no Internet because I canceled with my previous provider because I figured I would get better Internet connection with Starlink. Recommend asking lots of questions before signing up. Absolute worst customer service I’ve received.
No updates and delays
Ordered on 29 Jan, saying delivery estimate 06th to 10th of Feb, so far not even shipped yet and no way to have info on how long takes. Absolutely disappointed as from a Trillion £ company you gonna expect a bit more professional responses

Customer service is abhorrent
Customer service is abhorrent. I tried to pause my subscription the day that my bill occured and they said that they couldn't refund the bill that they just charge me hours before. Now I am paying for an internet service I wanted to pause for this month, instead of using. Wanna know their response? Thats not our fault you chose to pay for the subscription this month.
No grace and no care for their customers reflects a lot about the business practices happening inside this company.

Starlink is the worst internet company I have ever delt with. Good luck with customer service. They took a month and a half to reply back to me for charging me for a month before I could even get it set up so I cancelled my account and sent the receiver back. Instead of issuing me a refund on my bank card, they just applied it to my account credit... Complete joke, what good does that do me? They do not have a phone number you can call either. Also if you live in the woods, you are not going to get signal because of the trees. So they ripped me off $120 for a month before I could get it set up and $240 for the receiver. Waste of $360 that I will not get back because they are a joke.

Still waiting after almost 1 month now Starlink will start to charge us in 2 days they say , if they do the set will go unopened retour.

Starlink installation has been unreliable …
Starlink installation has been unreliable full stop! We were told that our system would be installed 12/15/25. He never showed up. We were scheduled for 12/22/25, The installer then called us and said “I will be there in 1.5 hours.” He then called 45 minutes later and said “I can’t be there, my car broke.” I called Starlink Install and informed them. They stated that the “Technician had put on the notes he was here and there was no good space to install the system.” He lied. We were then told on the third try the installer would be here 12/27/25 from 8:00-12:00, he has yet to show up.
Starlink support re slow internet
I contacted Starlink support because my internet was frequently so slow on my mesh it was unusable. I described my set up specifying that I was using a mesh system with the Starlink. I spent hours communicating with support over several days doing the speed tests they asked for and following their instructions to split the Starlink router into separate 5 and 2.4. The speed improved not at all. Finally, I read somewhere else about putting the Starlink router in bypass mode and using only my mesh system, which I have just done. Now my mesh is super fast! If Starlink support had just told me to do that in the first place instead of ignoring the fact that I told them I had a mesh system, it would’ve saved me months of bad service.

To begin with you are dealing with AI so if you have an issue you are kinda screwed. I bought my starlink and had installed professionally on July 16, 2025. It is now December 2025. $900 later minus monthly payments of $120 they did a diagnostic and determined my router was bad. Great free replacement shipped and received ! Not so great. The replacement was disgusting the packaging inside was disgusting. I hooked it up anyways after I cleaned it! Of course it didn't work, now according to thier policy I have to purchase my next one! Ok great but will that one work I doubt it. Not wasting any more of my hard earned money on this scam. I would advise you don't either!

"When" it works it works. In 3 1/2 years being a Starlink customer, I'm now on my fourth "kit". Note that the receiver is always mounted, never moved. power on surge protection. yet the receiver hardware will only last you 18 months, tops. remember that the warranty starts when you first purchase your system, so count on having to put out $600 - $700 every three to four years to buy a new system. Then wait till someone at Starlink support gets around to allowing the new system on your account( there is no option to change your subscription to new hardware kit in the account portal). when things go wrong, you're at their mercy - you could be without any internet for weeks, support - yeah not really, they'll eventually get around to you.
Their lack of support is mind boggling
I have never seen such an incompetent customer support department such as theirs. I lady called me because I was having problems with internet outage. I followed all their suggestions to get back up, but could not. I wound up ordering new equipment. When I was called I was told she would cancel my old service and that I would get a credit for my troubles. Neither happened, She didn't cancel my old service, I got charged twice and I did not get a credit. Do not believe a single word they tell you. They are liars and incompetent. One thing I didn't mention to them when I submitted a support ticket was that I recorded the conversation I had with the gal who called me,

After having starlink service for about 3 1/2 years the router died. I contacted customer service through chat and reported my problem. It took them until the next day to get back to me but they immeadiatly offered to replace my Gen 2 syatem with a gen 3 system without charge even though it was out of warranty. I was told it would be 5 business days to recieve but I got it in 3.

The use of a.i is frustrating as u never get a straight answer, been waiting 4 days with no service, hundreds of mesaage later im still waiting, had to open a new ticket to try and get someone's attention still no replies, this is because a returned dish was late, only I have the proof of delivery from 2 companies. Both receipts were shown in the chat ticket but when I sent them that was it 4 days past and nobody looked near them, still no internet today

Thoroughly dishonest company. Offered me a 50% discount for 24 months on "ANY PLAN" but then subsequently told me the plan I subscribed to was not part of the offer. - Even though no exclusions were mentioned and there were no terms and

Starlink's Customer Support
Starlink's basic performance is adequate. However, their customer service dependance on "AI" is egregious.
My issue currently: I ordered a Starlink Mini (after Starlink sent me an offer). Then, the app stated that to expect the item to be delivered between Dec 6th- Dec 11th. When I asked the customer support what the delay was and when I could expect the item delivered, I was told it would ship between Dec 6th and Dec 11th. I tried several times to contact support about this contradiction and there was no resolution. In short, not only has Starlink's shipping been very unsatisfactory, their customer support is abysmal and their information provided to the customer is contradictory.
