Typical Musk overhyped and under-delivered product
Viking Cruises uses Starlink on both their river and ocean cruises. In both cases it’s slow and unstable.

Great service with both home and mobile service BUT, if you have a single problem with billing you will be left in the dust for multiple days without help. Customer service is nonexistent. If you want great internet with no ability to speak to anyone when you have a billing issue, your looking at the wrong service.
Starlink sounds great on paper
Starlink sounds great on paper, but my experience didn’t match the hype. Yes, it works in rural areas, but the price is very high for what you actually get. Speeds and stability drop exactly when you need it most - bad weather, evenings, or busy hours.
Equipment is expensive, monthly cost is steep, and you still get volatility and outages. For that price, you expect rock-solid internet, but it is "mostly fine" at best

Starlink has poor tech service and support no call# to talk to live person. The number that was given to me is a just an answer machine and I have been waiting for call back for 12 hours. I had Starlink installed 1-27-26 and paid for install only later to find out that was located with obstructions on placement. I am in rural area with limited phone access and need internet for work and phone calls. I have had around 500+ outages in last 17 hours and having issues sending ticket and getting help due to outages.

I ordered Starlink in Spain, equipement was sended from warehouse in Germany, with Dhl express.
As my adress was not recognised by the system, ( campo ) customer service contacted me over the messagebox in my personal account.
And solution was quicky found..( pickup-point )
Recieved the box in less than 1 week, and installing was done in minutes, with the pc.. i don,t have the app installed.
Speed incredible.. around 300 Mb down.. with Vodafone i get around 20 Mb..
Also very impressive technology.. all credits for that.. So very happy with the service.. also big thanks to Mr Wim.. who called me from costumer service, in only 5 minutes after i maked the message in the account..
Poor Service- Poor knowledge of own product
Spoke with a sales rep for a 'Performance' system- described in detail my needs. She said it would shipped in 3-5 days. it took 6 weeks- and no communication in between. When it did arrive, the system did not have the necessary components (lacked power supply for 3 routers) and sent me the wrong cable for one of the routers. The sales rep obviously did not know what to recommend and does not understand their own systems. Now I can't get a response to get the correct items- have to submit a ticket to which no one has responded in 24 hours. Damn sure can't get through on the phone.

I ordered equipment to fix my dish to the house with Starlink taking the money instantly. Days later no order was showing so I cancelled after going on their chat. I ordered again and still nothing. Now I. €132 out of pocket and told refunds can take up to 15 days. The chat BOT just told me to order something else ffs. Great way to treat new customers NOT.
Service team unable to deliver
2 months trying to schedule an appointment with their service team. Never were able to show up, after 2 months said that we had to find our own technician. We decided to cancel after 2 months wasting our time.
Shouldn't advertise with "Live in 2 weeks" if you can't deliver that.
Refunds never honoured
So huge they don’t care about you, the messages are clearly not even a person. Dishonest and disgusting, they offered me a refund if 89e I never received this. I messaged back and just get the same response
“I'm sorry for the frustration—system limitations refer to technical restrictions that prevent me from issuing the credit at this time. How else can I assist you with your Starlink service?”
Then today they offers me a credit and in the same conversation state
“I apologize for not fulfilling the promise earlier due to the system issue—I'll issue the 89€ courtesy credit to your account now. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to issue the credit at this time due to system limitations. How else can I assist you with your Starlink service?“
Absolute repulsive company

Scam advertising!
They advertise 3 service plans (£75pm, £55pm and £35pm), but when you contact them, they only offer £75pm. PLUS 'high demand surcharge of £100'.
I'll go with Fibre instead, cheaper, faster and more trusting companies.

Have had Starlink for almost one year…
Have had Starlink for almost one year France, as no alternative available in current location. It's very easy to set up and the app is very good. Not sure why so many negative reviews. Speeds are better than advertised even with Lite version, but as I live in wooded area the dish is very sensitive to trees blocking but that's simply physics at work as it needs line of site.

i was having poor download and upload speeds. i put in a service ticket. the response was very slow. when they finally responded the suggested an ethernet cable from the router might be the problem and offered to send a replacement. i told them my monthly subscription was about to expire and i would not renew because it wasnt meeting my needs. customer service offered to renew no charge and sent me the part they thought was causing the problem. i replace the part and there was no improvement. almost a month in they want me to start trouble shooting. climb on the roof take pictures from different angles. i make my living from the internet and was tired of customer service slow and feeble attempts to resolve the issue. i asked them to cancel the service. i received notice that they were going to charge my credit card. i wrote and cancelled again. i ended up writing to an automated chat that was like talking to the wall. i started a new ticket and no response.

Dreadfull service all round
I’m English and live in Spain, internet in Spain in the countryside is poor. So after speaking to friends decided to go down the Starlink route, ordered the dish on the 18th November 2025 as at the 1st December I’m still waiting for my Starlink equipment.
It looks like the dish came from Germany via DHL after 10 days I looked on the tracking schedule and noted the parcel could not be delivered as import fees need to be paid, it then diverted me to the Spanish postal system, they advise they had made an attempt to deliver but couldn’t find the address which in Spain means they never bothered.
I have now tried to contact Starlink, DHL Germany, and Correos Spain everyone uses Chatbox which send me to check with each organisation, they have no idea where the parcel is.
Why do Starlink spend so much money developing a product sending it to space, but totally disregard having any customer service centre, your product is only as good as the service you provide delivering the goods.
I’m sorry but Starlink you have totally failed in delivering a positive experience and I cannot recommend you to anyone.
