Absolutely diabolical customer service

Absolutely diabolical customer service, poor communication and complete liars. Steer clear of this company at all costs.

The fact that Moneybarn have responded immediately to this review is laughable given that it took a month to get a call back. Moneybarn, youve requested details to look at my case but the facts are youve not upheld my complaint based on a scotia report that is inaccurate. Please advise how the report which states parts need to be replaced and the car would not start with clear indication that further testing is needed to reach conclusion, that yhe report then states the conclusion is that the dealership is not liable even though the testing could not be completed?

Ive now raised this with the ombudsman and would direct potential customers to have a look on social media at this company as there are hundreds of people dealing with the same issues.

Edit to add a complaint has been raised, Moneybarn final response is full of inaccuracies and it's now with the ombudsman.

Please avoid at all costs. I purchased a van via zuto who got the finance with Moneybarn. The van broke on the first week. The trader we got the van from did an illegal fix, which has now been exposed by Vauxhall. Moneybarn and Zuto have been beyond useless in assisting us with this. We now have a van stuck on our driveway, and nobody willing to help. Have raised complaints with Moneybarn and Zuto, and five months since purchase, we are no further forward. Whenever I phone up to speak to the complaints team at Moneybarn, I am constantly told there is nobody available, and to wait for an email. This is completely against FCA guidelines.

Shocking company to deal with

Shocking company to deal with. I purchased a car through Zuto who sourced MoneyBarn as the finance company. After 7 months the car broke down. Sadly it was my secondary vehicle as I have a works van and didn’t drive many miles otherwise the faults would have happened earlier. I tried dealing direct with MoneyBarn however they were not helpful at all. I paid for 2 x independent checks on the vehicle and it turns out that it was purchased from a salvage yard plus there is a mileage discrepancy. I’ve had to pass it over to the Financial Ombudsman as MoneyBarn are saying there’s nothing they can do. They refuse to reply to my requests to pause my payments as suggested by the FO. In MoneyBarns words ‘the mileage discrepancy doesn’t devalue the vehicle’ I’m struggling to pay for a car that the AA have told me is undriveable. Ive spoken to Citizens Advice and they have told me I’ve been mid-sold a car.

I have had more than a lovely experience getting my car, due to me being picky with cars there was some issues getting the original car I wanted, however jack found me my perfect car and made sure it all worked out for me.
