anyways, I am not letting discourse get in the way of enjoying queerness and being a part of the community. I love being transmasc, I love being genderqueer, I love being a stud, I love being a bear, I love being a gaybian and aroacespec and m-spec. I love being vaguely transfem and having my intersexuality, autism, and blackness shape my identity as a whole. I love having xenogenders and using it/its pronouns and neos as an adult. I love existing despite the pushback from others, I love being a source of education and inspiration.

it's like that with every queer label, it seems. I don't think it's even inherently on purpose, but white people talk over black and other POC people so much on queer tumblr. Sometimes I'll make a game over how many white people I can count in a queer tag before I see a POC and let me tell you, if this was a drinking game I'd be dead of premature liver failure.

as a black transmasc, it couldn't be clearer who is most appreciated. that 'fluffy hair transmasc' shit ONLY takes into account white (skinny) transmascs, which is super fucking funny considering how afros can fall under 'fluffy hair' too. if I wore my hair out of braids, I'd be treated wildly different from my white peers, because my hair is 'too wild' to be 'societally acceptable'. :/
black transfem? well you have to break your ass trying your hardest to be hyper-fem, probably even more so than white transfem butches are pressured to. it could not be more obvious how anti-masculinity affects black people, and white queer people are massive perpetrators! they'll grin in your face as they spew blatant racism at you, claiming they're a 'safe space', until you're black. until we all 'look like men'
